Tsipouro is an authentic Greek product closely interwoven with the Greek lifestyle, hospitality and entertainment.

It is produced by the distillation of grape marc. It is the drink bound to relax us, the drink that urges us to join in and communicate with our friends, gather around a table and savor a wide assortment of traditional h’ordeuvres (mezedes), constantly alternating flavors and aromas of the Greek mountains and deep-blue sea.

single νariety Tsipouro from Tirn avos Black Muscat

MAVRO RODO (BLACK ROSE) is a single-variety tsipouro, produced exclusively from the distillation of Tirnavos black Muscat.

The area of Tirnavos in Thessalia, Greece, is a global reference point for this famous variety and was awarded PGI designation in 1989.

Each year in November, the Stoupakis family travel from Chios to Tirnavos in order to distill the grapes for the superior “Mavro Rodo” Tsipouro.
