ABOUT PROGRAM Films depicting life of war heroes are the primary source of young people’s knowledge of the World War II history. The idea behind our project is to use this medium, which teenagers find comprehensible and attractive, to make them talk about the history in their own language. Films constitute a starting point for discussions about the past as well as for creative interpretations of the history. The participants plan and create their own short films inspired by the local history and memory of the past. Their films are creative interpretation of the history and reference to the present.
