Eight Lane Unit uses a #10 standard Ajax Drive to power on singre shaker

pan.

Twelve Lane unit uses a #10 Heavy Ajax Drive to power one singre shaker pan.

sixteen Lane unit uses a #12 standard Ajax Drive to power either one single or two double shaker pans. MOTOR AND DRTVE SECTION

A.

DRfVE MOTOR powers vibrating shaker drive. Electric motor is a 1 ,/, hp, 230146A volt, 60 cycle or 190/380volt, 50 cycle, three phase, TEFC motor.

B.

AIAX DRIVE vibrating shaker drive unit uses Ajax, complete with isolation mounts and brackets, mounts to shaker frame pan.

A.

AJAX SHAKER LUBRICATION INSTRUCTIONS

:

1.

Do not add more oil to a new unit. It is shipped from A&K with the correct amount for 500 hours of operation.

2.

At the end of the first 500 hours of operation, drain out all old oil and replace with the correct amount of new thereafter.

3.

Shaker should be regulady inspected for oil leakage through the shaft seal or gaskets. Should a leakage appear, resolve the problem immediately.

4.

Lubricating a shaker is similar to lubricating an automobile transmission, too much oil can cause leakage and over heating and too little oil will cause wear. Use motor oil grade SAE 30.

5.

Do not overfill shaker with

oil.

Pipe plugs are not oil level guides.

See page 6.

SAFETY SECTION

A.

Keep all shields & guards in place. WARMNG never attempt to make any adjustments while the Shaker Feeder is running.

B.

Stop motors before leaving operators position to make adjustments, lubricate, cleaning or unclogging equipment. Unless otherwise specifically recommended in the manual.

C.

Wait for all movement to stop before servicing machine.

D.

Keep hands, feet and clothing away from power driven parts.

E.

Keep off equipment unless a platform or deck for operation and observation is provided.

F.

Use appropriate signs or warning devices when operating.

G

Make certain everyone is clear of equipment before starting motors or operation.

H

KEEP GUARDS IN PLACE AT ALL TIME OF OPERATION safety guards & shields are provided for your protection to avoid serious injury, keep guard securely fastened.
