A ‘SITE’ TO SEE
Not everybody can afford medical care. And if you are unemployed or lost your job, you may think going to the emergency room is your only option.
Fortunately, the North Lake County Hospital District supports care for people who cannot afford it and operates five community clinics that meet medical, dental, and mental health needs.
As a result, Healthy Lake County recently launched a new website to educate the community about the available services offered for people who cannot afford medical care or have no access to health insurance. Visit healthylakecounty.org and find out whether you may qualify for assistance.
