THE VILLAGE SCHOOL: FOREST OF LEARNING We view education as bottom-up experience, where the student as an individual learns to interact and research to discover their surroundings. Our Tree Village school is inspired by learning through discovery; a well-planned design composed creating various on campus experiences. The campus is designed with a study of wind and sunlight on and off the rainy season in the tropical climate of Mombosa. When intergating vegetation into the design we aimed to absorb the student into the learning environment.

ANGEL’S WINDOW MUSEUM AND HOTEL A WINDOW TO DISCOVERY
N
Cape Royale is reknown for it’s eastward view of the limestne rock arch which frames the semmingly infinite Grand Canyon. This limestone arch is known as Angel’s Window. Angel’s Window is located on the extremity of the North Rim along the Cape Royale trail. As a temporary canyon view accomodation, we porpose a museum exhbiting the stratum inscribed in the Limestne rock. The openings in the corten steel wall surrounding the staircase on the west side allow light to penetrate in the afternoons and at sunset. The openings and orinetation of the triangular plates immerse the visitor into the grand canyon skyline.
