About Global Leaders is AIESEC Vietnam’s EP Brand for the Global Citizen Program. AIESEC Vietnam wants to send potential leaders from Vietnam to your country, these are Individuals who have a global mind-set, and have rich culture, they are socially aware, very proactive and want to create a positive impact. Our aim is to develop them into global leaders of tomorrow. AIESEC Vietnam focuses on sending high quality and dedicated EPs who will be raised with the right expectations. AIESEC Vietnam is looking at sending a lot of members and leaders to your country as well. AIESEC Vietnam delivered more than 200 experiences from January 2013 to October 2013. AIESEC Vietnam’s Global Citizen Program(oGCDP) plans to deliver 800+ High Quality Experiences to the Vietnamese Students, till next year.

Culture of Vietnamese Students The main educational goal in Vietnam is improving people’s general knowledge, training quality human resources and nurturing and fostering talent. With one of the highest GDP growth rates in Asia, Vietnam is currently trying to overhaul its education system, with a view to prepare students for the increasing role of English as the language of business, and the importance of internationalizing the education system to maintain the rapid economic growth of the last two decades. According to official government statistics, by 2009 there were 150 universities and 226 colleges, with particularly fast growth occurring in the last three years, especially in the private sector. The move from a largely elitist higher education system is underway, and with the help of overseas trained talent and partners Vietnam is beginning to embrace best practices from around the world.

Timeline
Expectation from the NGO/ Project • AIESEC Vietnam, would expect its Exchange Participants to have a Qualitative Internship at the partner NGOs/Projects. • We expect that our EPs will have professional development under the supervision of the NGO/Projects. • We expect that a regular tracking and evaluation be done, of the Exchange Participant under the supervision, so as to provide an enhanced experience to the Exchange Participant. • We expect the host entity to conduct LEAD activities for overall development of the EP. • Support in co-delivering a good Customer Experience • Reception Package and Basic instructions to be provided before
