1946, after the World War 2, AIESEC was founded to close the gaps among nations in understanding, 1946, Vietnam went into 88th year fighting to take back the independence from France colony since 1958. With the history of more than 1210 years fighting for independence and human rights, Vietnamese deeply understand the desire for peace and the harsh journey behind it. AIESEC in Vietnam was nurtured by that thousand year desire and the dream to create the leaders to make that desire come true. Till 2014, for 7 years, AIESEC in Vietnam has grown from 2 Leadership positions to 600, from 16x to 770x, established 6 LCs, hosted 3 international conferences, engaging in total 1500+ membership, 1600+ internships, reaching 100000 youth and businesses. 7 consecutive years of more than 100% annual growth, that is the commitment of a new-born entity to its country future and to the mission of AIESEC Network.
