This amazing non - building concept building is designed by the renowned Indian architect " CHARLES CORREA ".
The aim of the study is to understand :
1 how building should respond to the context of its site.
2 how building is carved out from open spaces(interrelation between space & built form).
3 use of vernacular architecture.
4 " the ritualistic pathway ".
the most unique feature to this building is that the visitor enters at the terrace level and then move to the lower levels to reach the Upper lake.
ghat concept is used this can be seen by the design of the staircase. At the entry point only a small part of building is visible which came up with the concept of non building form. the old Bhopal with the upper lake merges with the scenic view of bharat bhavan.
