SITREP | Doca do Santos, Lisbon, Portugal Role: Design Research & Visualization Research Entity: SITREP with Carla Leitao & Michael Wen Sen Su Description: Situation report of existing and proposed conditions along the waterfront in Lisbon. Lisbon sits on the Tagus River, where there is a renewed interest in developing the waterfront as a destination for both tourists and locals. Visitors have limited access to the waterfront, which was previously dominated by industry. The connection is severed by a railway and abandoned buildings. This project explores a pedestrian intervention that connects the city with the water via pedestrian bridges & extends the mainland into the water via a series of piers & slips.
BELOVED MIDDLE SCHOOL | Jersey City, NJ Role: Design, Production, BIM Manager Firm: Urbahn Architects Phase: Schematic Design through Construction Documents Size: 60,875 SF Description: Located on a corner lot in Jersey City, this community Charter School contains 20 new classrooms, a gym, cafeteria, outdoor classroom for special education students, and a play-yard.
