Yoga with Viji

AGES 11 +

In these 90-minute classes, students will learn a range of asanas (poses) and pranayamas (breathing techniques) that Viji has learned from some of India's best yoga teachers She has included a few other easy immune systemboosting exercises, which are not a traditional part of yoga The class includes the practice of meditation and guided relaxation Viji has been teaching yoga in the US and India for 30 years

Adult Ballet (Beginner Level)

AGES 17 +

A gentle class taught intuitively for those who have little or no ballet experience It starts with floor barre exercises for core strength, flexibility and warm ups, followed by classical ballet exercises at the barre to work on proper body alignment and technique without straining, coordination and musicality as preparation to dance to choreographed ballet movements in the center and across the floor Having fun and enjoyment is essential

Required Equipment: Ballet slippers or soft jazz shoes No shoes or bare feet Wear comfortable ballet or exercise clothing for ease of movement Long hair must be tied back

User Friendly Pilates

AGES 18 +

Your core muscles protect your spine and prepare you for strenuous activities Discover how to develop core with the proper awareness to get strong without getting hurt, improve flexibility, posture, and balance Ernie has over 30-years’ experience specializing in movement education and injury prevention He is a Pilates Instructor, Fitness Trainer (NASM), Certified Feldenkrais® Movement Educator (FGNA), and Barefoot Specialist (EBFA Global), with an extensive background as a professional dancer

*Prerequisites: Students must be able to get up and down from the floor without assistance
