Discover Scuba Diving, Al Aqah @
Dear First Time Divers, Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater. If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it. Discover Scuba Diving is an introductory part of scuba diving. During this activity you will do the classroom session and the pool training for the basic skills of scuba diving followed by an Open Water Dive. Discover Scuba Diving with 1 dive: 650 AED/person Not available on Fridays Discover Scuba Diving with 2 dives: 850 AED/person Not available on Fridays All includes equipment use and a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Certificate.
You can still participate in this programme even if you don’t know how to swim, as long as you are at least comfortable in the water. Your introduction to scuba diving starts at 9 am daily at Al Boom Diving, Fujairah at Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort and Spa. After an introductory classroom session, you will try diving in the swimming pool, under the supervision of our PADI instructors and join the 12 noon trip for the sea dive. Minimum age: 10 years

A Packed sandwich is available from Le Meridien at a cost of 35 AED each. • Round trip transport from Dubai to Al Aqah 200 AED per person • Please note that after completing this program you will only receive a certificate of participation this does not serve as a license for a fully qualified diver, but counts towards your open water qualification (sign up for the open water course within 14 days of completing the Discover Scuba Course, to receive a discount on the full course). All students need to be medically fit and need to sign a medical form to this effect. Please answer the attached medical questionnaire with a YES or a NO. If, you have answered YES to any of the questions then you must provide a Medical Certificate from a diving physician stating that you are fit to dive. • Please note that according to safe diving and flying procedures, you must allow for 12 hours for a single dive or 18 hours for multiple dives after your dive before you can fly. Note: As the Burj Khalifa is over 300m tall, allow 18 hours after your dive before going to the observation deck—or go before your dive. • Payment must be made at time of booking.
