Editorial Welcome to the Integrate 2010 Show Guide! Just like Integrate 09 we’ve published our Show Guide well ahead of time to ensure you get a chance to properly plan your show. In these pages you’ll find details on all the exhibitors as well as our Integrate education program. As you’ll discover, this year’s program is, once again, chock-o-block. All facets of sound, light and vision are covered with a diverse range of seminars, conferences, workshops, panel discussions and masterclasses. Once again, The Headroom is the education hub of the show. It’s a state-ofthe-art, purpose-built facility (a big thanks to Pollard Productions, Staging Rentals and Videoplus for making it all possible again this year) that can seat 200 people in comfort. This year, in association with InfoComm International, we’ve launched two new one-day conferences for Video Conferencing and Digital Signage. These are enormous growth areas in the AV sector and these one-day programs will serve as a great launching pad for AV professionals wishing to broaden their earning horizons, as well contributing to their InfoComm RUs. I’m also very excited about another new feature of the show, AT World. There won’t be a dull moment for fans of AudioTechnology magazine with three full days of presentations, networking and giveaways. The House of Worship Pavilion is another new initiative for 2010. The pavilion is hosted by our friends at Technologies for Worship Magazine – and has already enjoyed great success at other international tradeshows. Tickets for the House of Worship Pavilion seminars are going like hot cakes so best get in quick – they’re free! But that’s just the merest taste of what’s on offer. There are scores, dozens, heaps, a plethora of other sessions to check out – many free of charge. So, please, enjoy browsing through the Show Guide and don’t forget to register. Once you’ve registered, any sessions that you book will be electronically attached to your pass. That’s right, no pesky ticket collection… just rock up to the session, where you’ll be scanned and admitted. Easy. See you at the show! Louise Brooks Event Director, Alchemedia Events

Headlining Bruce Jackson Life on the Bleeding Edge
Australian audio royalty, Bruce Jackson headlines Integrate 2010. Bruce has spent four decades living a life that pushes the technical envelope. Whether it be as the go-to sound man for some of the biggest touring acts the world has ever seen – think: Elvis, Springsteen and Streisand; acting as audio director for some of the most ambitious one-off events on the planet – think: Shanghai World Expo opening ceremony; or starting up companies that would entirely change the way we work – think: Apogee converters or the Dolby Lake Processor – Bruce has never been one to stay in his comfort zone. What with this history you’d suspect Bruce would have a helluva collection of war stories, and you’d be right. Sit back and marvel as Bruce recounts some of the most daring, audacious, hilarious, and thought provoking anecdotes you’re ever likely to hear, along with some amazing photographs from his personal collection. Whether you were humping PAs around the traps in the ’70s or a Gen Y audiovisual whiz kid, this Headlining session provides a unique opportunity to hear from a dead-set legend that’s still the best in the game.
Day 2 Headroom 3:00 –4:30pm
About the Presenter: Bruce Jackson has enough experiences to fill a couple of lifetimes. From Elvis to Expo he’s done it all.
Who’s it For: Everyone who enjoys hearing about challenging the status quo in favour of establishing a new benchmark for the state-of-the-art.
Price: $11
More Bruce: Earlier on Day 2, Bruce Jackson will be chairing The Main Event panel discussion (see page 22). Otherwise catch Bruce in AT World for a chat.

Cisco Keynote Topping off a great day of cutting edge AV is Peter Wynne Hughes, Cisco’s General Manager Communications & Collaboration for Australia & NZ, who will spell out the global giant’s video vision and strategy. Video is transforming the way the world manages business, communicate and collaborate. In an ever-changing global environment, leveraging video as the means to collaborate and share information on any device, any place, anywhere, anytime, gives businesses competitive and cost-saving advantages. In his keynote presentation, Peter Wynne Hughes will look at innovations in creating a media-ready network and how it will enable customers to prepare their networks for increased demand and use of video. In recent years Cisco has developed some market leading technologies in this arena, including: TelePresence, TelePresence Exchange Services, Digital Media Systems, Media Processing, Video Surveillance Systems and Converged Building Systems. In other words, Cisco is obviously a global heavy hitter and this will be an important address with real implications for the pro AV sector. Note: Although this session concludes the Super Tuesday program it isn’t actually part of Super Tuesday. Delegates will have first dibs on seats for this keynote, although it’s free of charge to any Integrate attendee. First in best dressed.
