KIMBERLEY AND TOP END HIGHLINE EXPEDITION
EXPEDITION OVERVIEW Our small team is going to visit the Kimberley in Western Australia and the Top End in Northern Territory to highline in some of the most remote, iconic and beautiful places that the Australian outback has to offer. The main objectives are to identify, establish and ascend highlines that have never been done before. Equally as important as the highlining is documenting it. Our team will document the expedition in a way that captures the daring and action of this relatively new and spectacular sport. Also we will reveal the beauty of the natural environments and the burgeoning highliner lifestyle.
DATES AND LOCATIONS The expedition is going to take place at the end of April until the end of May. This is the beginning of the dry season and is perfect for visiting due to the absence of water; allowing roads to be fully accessible. But this also means that waterfalls and river systems are still full enough to display their full power and majesty. Both of those reasons are especially important as most of our potential projects are located at iconic waterfalls which you can access by car during dry season only.
Locations that we are going to visit are as follow: Jim Jim Falls, Kakadu National Park, NT Twin falls, Kakadu National Park, NT Double falls, Kakadu National Park, NT King George falls, Kimberley, WA Mitchell falls, Kimberley, WA Piccaninny gorge, Purnululu National park, WA
