3D PRINTED LAMPS LOOKBOOK ALESSIO PILÒ
This lookbook represents a collection of personal lighting design projects. The lamps are developed with the aim of being easily to 3D print using FDM technology. The components are optimized to achieve the highest quality and to be printed without the aid of supports. The shape of the products follows the advantages of printing for FMD, while remaining within the limits of technology. All products that are pictured represent printed and working prototypes of the projects.

A luminous silhouette The fact that the lamp results in a fully illuminated object makes it look like a sculpture. The difference in brightness between the diffuser and the base, and the gradient that forms on the surfaces of these elements, give volume to the object.

CONCEPT: Embracing classicism Design a shape that reminds volumes and proportions related to ancient Greece.
»» Two opposed cones with oblique cut are joined to generate a powerful and evocative shape. »» The fine treatment of its surface allows a particular management of light and shadow.
FUNCTION: Directed soft light The lamp gives its best if placed at angles, so as to bounce the light emitted and make it diffuse. The shape allows it to be oriented towards the walls.
»» The large size of the diffuser guarantees a soft, wide-range lighting.
