Check this out!! The amount of checkered vans I saw on campus was overwhelming. It seemed to almost replace the chuck Taylor converse title of “staple shoe”. Although, the checkered vans came on the street in the 70’s and 80’s. For decades, the kick stayed in the street/skate style, however in the recent years the checkered vans have become more “mainstream” like the band tees trend. The print expanded to skirts, shirts, and pants; allowing the street loving fashionista to wear the print in more ways than just shoes.

Mesh clothing can make you look flirty and stylish; and its Been doing so for hundreds of years.
