The 5th Avenue Collection all started with the fabric. When I first saw that
peacock print with all its vibrant colours; I was instantly enticed to buy the whole
lot. The vintage, floral pattern just spoke to me. When I walked past the
contrasting dotted print, I felt that same emotion… and together they created a
symphony of colour and print.
My designs developed a parallel relationship with these fabrics. I applied vintage
details to create a fashion forward silhouette, which can be seen in this collection
of timeless pieces.
Further sourcing found the luscious satin silks, and the extravagant jade green
tartan, which is certain to grab the attention in the board room!
Designing this collection was intrinsic to who I am! The tailored elegance and
glamour of Lauren Bacall certainly influenced this collection.
