My Christmas And New Year’s Eve

Christmas - Ana
On December 25th, we celebrate Christmas Day. We wake up at seventhirty in the morning and just prepare breakfast, then immediately start preparing the desserts, cakes and everything else. During the day we play many games. We later prepare and take the gifts to my uncle's house. Upon arriving to the house of my uncle Fernando, we check out the Christmas decorations and the crib that represents the birth of baby Jesus. After dinner - roast beef with rice and salad – at about midnight we open our Christmas presents. Afterwards we go to Mass and then go back to uncle´s to have chicken soup. And so this is how I celebrate Christmas.
My Christmas - Bruno
I see Christmas more like a normal day. Everything I see is like a normal day because in Madeira, it never snows and the “cold” is more like “warm”. The only thing I see in my Christmas is the presents that everyone recives. Almost everything I see isn`t about Christmas.
My Christmas – Johnny
At Christmas, I help my mother to put the Christmas tree in the living room, put the baby jesus and stuff and even customize it my way and it’s very beautiful. My family, exchanges gifts and buys gifts for each other. Then I usually go to my godmother's house, we dine there and we receive and give gifts. Later, around midnight we go to my uncle's bar, and go back to eating and talking about how the year went and just hang out. At about four o'clock
in the morning we go to my house to the exchange of gifts and then we eat a pizza. Later we go to bed.
My Christmas - Gustavo
We have two weeks before Christmas and we got the crib decorations, pine etc, etc. A week before Christmas we visit and hang out a bit with friends and family. On Christmas Day we have cod, scones, and many other traditional sweets.
