Salade d'ananas Ă la vanille Salad of pineapple to vanilla
Preparation time: 20 minutes. Cooking time: 45 minutes. Difficulty: Easy. Cost: Low.
INGREDIENTS For 6 persons - fresh pineapple: 1 - sugar: 500 g - Vanilla: 3 cloves - crystal sugar: 50 g - Lemon: 1 juice
PREPARATION Pour the sugar into a saucepan, add 50 cl of water, stir and bring to boil. Open the vanilla pod in half. Lower the heat under the saucepan, add the vanilla pods and cook in small stocks for 15 min. Meanwhile, peel the pineapple, remove eyes, then cut it into four and remove the central part. Slice it finally into small triangular pieces. Put the pineapple chunks in syrup and cook over low heat for 30 minutes stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, pour the sugar in a soup plate and lemon juice in another. Dip slightly edges of 6 cuts in lemon juice, then in the sugar crystal. When the cooking time of the pineapple is finished, remove the saucepan from heat and let cool. Divide the pineapple in cuts being careful not to touch the edges crystallized, then pour a little syrup.
SUGGESTIONS AND COUNCILS Put on the fridge. Serve cold with tiles almonds.
