Curriculum Vitae
Self-taught painter, architect by profession I been showing my work for almost 15 years. Some spaces that have hosted my work: Museum of Contemporary Art of Santiago (MAC), Museum of Natural History of Santiago, Spanish Cultural Center of Santiago, Las Condes Cultural Corporation of Santiago, Tacla Gallery, Carrasco Palace Valparaíso, Animal Gallery Santiago, Cecilia Palma Gallery Santiago, Trece Gallery Santiago. Cronologycal: 1995 -- Bachelor on Architecture by Central University of Santiago -- Architect degree Central University of Santiago. -- Begining works: drawing, designing, ilustrator, columnist, photographer for print media: La Noche magazine, Zona de Contacto El Mercurio, Ediciones B, blank magazine, Paula magazine. 1998 -- “Retrato Hablado” first individual painting exhibition at Centro Cultural de España, Santiago. -- National Museum of Arts at Blanco Room.Collective with Universidad de Chile painters. 2001 -- Projecting and producing for the chilean pavillion at Guadalajara Book Fair, México. -- Collective exhibition call for “Arte 8” at Ciudad Empresarial de Santiago. -- Natural History Museum, gathering of designers. Inaugural exhibition. -- Barcelona, The painting work “Attack at School” finalist in the Lexmark European Art Price. 2003 -- Presentation at the Colonel by Secondary School Ottawa, Canadá. 2006 -- Start working at Eugenio Dittborn´s studio in Santiago. -- Collective exhibition “Portraits of Society” at Cecilia Palma Gallery, with the chilean writer portrait Pedro Lemebel. -- June, individual exhibition “Igualada” at Iris gallery, Barcelona. -- Septiember , collective “Chilean Food in Art” with the painting “Desalmada”, at Trece Gallery. 2007 -- January, prologue by Justo Pastor Mellado for the individual exposition “Caer con Gracia” (To Fall With Grace) at Cecilia Palma Gallery in Santiago. -- July, finalist of Marco Bontá contest, exhibition at MAC, National Museum of Contemporary Art. -- Winner of the Chelsea International Fine Art Competition 2007 at Agora Gallery, with Tina Kukielski´s of Whitney Museum curatory, Manhattan, New York. 2008 -- Open Studio at Santos Dumont 482 with artists Palito Wood and Antonio Silva. 2009 -- Ilustrations for “El Libro Secreto” (The Secret Book) presented at Mon LLibre festival in CCCB center, Barcelona. -- Art auction at The Museum of Visual Arts in Santiago for the reconstruction of “Sala de Música”at Ciudad Abierta, Ritoque.
