New Books… Grading smarter, not harder : assessment strategies that motivate kids and help them learn / Myron Dueck. 179 pages This book shows how to design an effective assessment system that accurately reflects student learning and motivates students to meet learning objectives.
Histoire du Manitoba français. Tome 2.
Authentic childhood : exploring Reggio Emilia in the classroom / Susan Fraser, Carol Gestwicki. 319 pages Explores the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. Educating for human dignity : learning about rights and responsibilities / Betty A. Reardon. 238 pages Reardon, a human rights educator, presents a theory and pedagogical approach to human rights education, followed by curriculum samples presented by grade level. The final section offers resources to help teachers educate themselves and prepare their own materials.
