Timur D’Vatz
Timur D’Vatz (b1968) art is figurative and emblematic and offers a modern-‐day take on ancient legends where centuries of tradition are applied to the mixed and re-‐appropriated symbols sourced from early Byzantine art, medieval tapestries, Russian icons, Pre-‐Raphaelites and ancient stories. The art historical archive of imagery became stepping stones for the artist’s own visual improvisations. The source becomes a metaphor for the veil of time and also becomes the point of departure for the creation of a new and original picture. Timur D’Vatz created his own artificial reality based on his spiritual interest in alchemy. He sees alchemy as the art form that liberates parts of the Cosmos from temporal existence and helps to achieve perfection. Timur takes the viewer to another place away from reality to the mysterious place where we could achieve eternal perfection. One of the moments of the spiritual transformation is the ritual of the hunt. Through rejuvenation of ancient stories and legends surrounding the hunt, the artist tries to gain a new significance to historical and imagined rituals. Timur D’Vatz achieves the ultimate climax within his controlled and stylized imagery by introducing a unique rhythm of time specific to him or rather the nullness of it. The artist seeks to gain control over the passage of time by switching it off completely and by revealing a taste for poetic images of silent, mediative activity. On the opposite end such as the dynamics of hunt are expressed through the use of the elongated bodies, in order to show the exhilaration of movement within a static image. Perhaps the most compelling aspect of Timur D’Vatz works is the way in which his art is inextricably linked to the world of textiles: he excels at depicting the rich fabrics of Chinese silk printing and influenced by intricate patterns of the Nabis School. D’Vatz's shapes and patterns take on a life of their own, giving to the composition a lyrical harmony as a whole.
ﺧﺎﺹص ﻟﻠﻭوﻗﺕت ،٬ﺃأﻭو ﺑﺎﻷﺣﺭرﻯى ﻣﻥن ﺧﻼﻝل ﺇإﻳﯾﻘﺎﻑف ﺍاﻟﻭوﻗﺕت .ﻳﯾﺳﻌﻰ ﺍاﻟﻔﻧﺎﻥن ﺇإﻟﻰ ﺍاﻟﺗﺣﻛﻡم ﻓﻲ ﺍاﻟﻭوﻗﺕت ﻋﺑﺭر ﺇإﻁطﻔﺎﺋﻪﮫ ﺑﺷﻛﻝل ﺗﺎﻡم ﻭوﻋﺑﺭر ﺗﺣﺭرﻳﯾﺭر ﺫذﺍاﺋﻘﺔ ﻟﻠﺗﻣﻌﻥن ﺑﺻﻭوﺭر ﺷﺎﻋﺭرﻳﯾﺔ ﺗﺗﺷﻛﻝل ﻣﻥن ﺍاﻟﺻﻣﺕت .ﻭوﻓﻲ ﺍاﻟﻣﻘﺎﺑﻝل ﻓﺈﻥن ﺩدﻳﯾﻧﺎﻣﻳﯾﻛﻳﯾﺔ ﺍاﻟﺻﻳﯾﺩد ﻳﯾﺗﻡم ﺍاﻟﺗﻌﺑﻳﯾﺭر ﻋﻧﻬﮭﺎ ﻣﻥن ﺧﻼﻝل ﺍاﺳﺗﺧﺩدﺍاﻡم ﺃأﺷﻛﺎﻝل ﻣﻣﻁطﻭوﻁطﺔ ،٬ﻭوﺫذﻟﻙك ﻹﻅظﻬﮭﺎﺭر ﺍاﻟﺑﻬﮭﺟﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺍاﻟﺣﺭرﻛﺔ ﺿﻣﻥن ﺻﻭوﺭر ﺛﺎﺑﺗﺔ. ﻭوﻟﻌﻞ ﺍاﻟﺠﺎﻧﺐ ﺍاﻷﺑﺮﺯز ﻓﻲ ﺃأﻋﻤﺎﻝل ﺩدﻳﯾﻔﺎﺗﺲ ﻫﮬﮪھﻮ ﺍاﻟﻄﺮﻳﯾﻘﺔ ﺍاﻟﺘﻲ ﺗﺮﺗﺒﻂ ﻓﻴﯿﻬﮭﺎ ﺃأﻋﻤﺎﻟﻪﮫ ﺍاﺭرﺗﺒﺎﻁطﺎ ً ﻭوﺛﻴﯿﻘﺎ ً ﻣﻊ ﻋﺎﻟﻢ ﺍاﻟﻨﺴﻴﯿﺞ ،٬ﺑﺎﻹﺿﺎﻓﺔ ﺇإﻟﻰ ﺑﺮﺍاﻋﺘﻪﮫ ﻓﻲ ﺗﺼﻮﻳﯾﺮ ﺍاﻷﻗﻤﺸﺔ ﺍاﻟﻔﻨﻴﯿﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺍاﻟﻄﺒﺎﻋﺔ ﺍاﻟﺤﺮﻳﯾﺮﻳﯾﺔ ﺍاﻟﺼﻴﯿﻨﻴﯿﺔ ،٬ﻭوﺗﺄﺛﺮﻩه ﺑﺎﻷﻧﻤﺎﻁط ﺍاﻟﻤﻌﻘﺪﺓة ﻓﻲ ﻣﺪﺭرﺳﺔ "ﺍاﻷﻧﺑﻳﯾﺎء" .ﺗﺘﺨﺬ ﺷﺨﻮﺹص ﺩدﻳﯾﻔﺎﺗﺲ ﻭوﺃأﻧﻤﺎﻁطﻪﮫ ﺣﻴﯿﺎﺓة ﺧﺎﺻﺔ ﺑﻬﮭﻢ ،٬ﻣﻤﺎ ﻳﯾﻀﻔﻲ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍاﻟﺘﻜﻮﻳﯾﻦ ﺍاﻧﺴﺠﺎﻣﺎ ً ﻏﻨﺎﺋﻴﯿﺎ ً ﻳﯾﻨﻌﻜﺲ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍاﻟﻌﻤﻞ ﺍاﻟﻔﻨﻲ ﻛﻜﻞ .ﻭوﻳﯾﺨﻔﻒ ﺍاﻟﻔﻨﺎﻥن ﺃأﻱي ﺍاﺣﺘﻤﺎﻝل ﻟﺜﻘﻞ ﺑﺼﺮﻱي ﺃأﻭو ﺭرﺗﺎﺑﺔ ﻣﻦ ﺧﻼﻝل ﺗﺮﻙك ﺍاﻷﺷﻜﺎﻝل ﺍاﻷﻧﻴﯿﻘﺔ ﻭوﺍاﻟﻤﺼﻘﻮﻟﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺧﺪﻣﺔ ﺍاﻟﻔﻀﺎء ﺍاﻟﺘﺼﻮﻳﯾﺮﻱي. ﺇإﻥن ﻟﻄﺨﺎﺕت ﺃأﻟﻮﺍاﻥن ﺍاﻟﺒﺎﺭرﻭوﻙك ﻭوﻫﮬﮪھﻴﯿﺌﺎﺕت ﺍاﻷﺟﺴﺎﻡم ﺍاﻟﻤﻤﻄﻮﻁطﺔ ﺗﺸﻜﻞ ﺍاﻟﻨﻤﻂ ﺍاﻟﻈﺎﻫﮬﮪھﺮ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺳﻄﺢ ﺍاﻟﻠﻮﺣﺔ ﻭوﺍاﻟﺬﻱي ﺑﺪﻭوﺭرﻩه ﻳﯾﻈﻬﮭﺮ ﺧﺼﺎﺋﺺ ﺍاﻟﺘﺠﺮﻳﯾﺪ ﻭوﺍاﻟﺠﻤﺎﻟﻴﯿﺎﺕت ﻓﻲ ﺍاﻟﺘﻜﻮﻳﯾﻦ ﺍاﻟﻔﻨﻲ ﻟﻠﻮﺣﺔ ﺩدﻳﯾﻔﺎﺗﺲ .ﻭوﻋﻼﻭوﺓة ﻋﻠﻰ ﺫذﻟﻚ ،٬ﻓﺈﻥن ﺍاﻟﺘﺴﻄﻴﯿﺢ ﺍاﻟﻤﺴﺘﻤﺮ ﻓﻲ ﺍاﻟﺼﻮﺭرﺓة ﻳﯾﻌﻄﻲ ﺍاﻧﻄﺒﺎﻋﺎ ً ﺑﺄﻥن ﺍاﻟﻜﺎﺋﻨﺎﺕت ﺍاﻟﻤﺘﻤﺜﻠﺔ ﻓﻲ ﻛﻼﺏب ﺍاﻟﺼﻴﯿﺪ ﻭوﺍاﻟﺼﻘﻮﺭر ﻭوﺍاﻟﺘﻲ ﻻ ﺗﻨﻔﺼﻞ ﻋﻦ ﺑﻴﯿﺌﺘﻬﮭﺎ ﻋﺎﺩدﺓة ،٬ﻭوﻛﺄﻧﻬﮭﺎ ﻻ ﺗﺘﻌﺎﻳﯾﺶ ﻣﻊ ﺍاﻟﺼﻮﺭرﺓة ﺃأﻭو ﺗﻨﺪﻣﺞ ﻣﻌﻬﮭﺎ. ﻳﯾﻘﺪﻡم ﻣﻌﺮﺽض "ﻁطﻘﻮﺱس ﺟﺪﻳﯾﺪﺓة" ﻟﻠﻔﻨﺎﻥن ﺗﻴﯿﻤﻮﺭر ﺩدﻓﺎﺗﺲ ﻣﻨﻈﻮﺭرﺍاً ﺣﻮﻝل ﻋﺎﻟﻢ ﻏﺮﻳﯾﺐ ،٬ﻭوﻳﯾﺤﺎﻛﻲ ﺗﺮﻑف ﻓﻨﻮﻥن ﻋﺼﺮ ﺍاﻟﻨﻬﮭﻀﺔ ،٬ﻭوﻳﯾﻀﻔﻲ ﻟﻠﻤﺸﺎﻫﮬﮪھﺪ ﺗﺠﺮﺑﺔ ﻣﻐﺎﻳﯾﺮﺓة ﻣﻦ ﺧﻼﻝل ﺇإﺑﻌﺎﺩدﻩه ﺑﺸﻜﻞ ﺗﺎﻡم ﻋﻦ ﺍاﻟﻀﺠﺮ ﺍاﻟﻴﯿﻮﻣﻲ. ﻭوﺗﺠﺪﺭر ﺍاﻹﺷﺎﺭرﺓة ﺇإﻟﻰ ﺃأﻥن ﺗﻴﯿﻤﻮﺭر ﺩدﻳﯾﺎﻓﺘﺲ ﻣﻦ ﻣﻮﺍاﻟﻴﯿﺪ ﻣﻮﺳﻜﻮ ،٬ﺭرﻭوﺳﻴﯿﺎ ،٬1968ﻭوﻗﺪ ﺩدﺭرﺱس ﺧﻼﻝل ﺍاﻟﻔﺘﺮﺓة ﺑﻴﯿﻦ ﻋﺎﻣﻲ 1983ﻭو 1987ﻓﻲ ﺍاﻟﻜﻠﻴﯿﺔ ﺍاﻟﺠﻤﻬﮭﻮﺭرﻳﯾﺔ ﻟﻠﻔﻨﻮﻥن ،٬ﻓﻲ ﻁطﺸﻘﻨﺪ .ﺛﻢ ﺍاﻧﺘﻘﻞ ﺇإﻟﻰ ﻟﻨﺪﻥن ﻻﺳﺘﻜﻤﺎﻝل ﺍاﻟﺪﺭرﺍاﺳﺎﺕت ﺍاﻟﻌﻠﻴﯿﺎ ،٬ﻭوﻛﺎﻥن ﺣﻴﯿﻨﻬﮭﺎ ﺃأﻭوﻝل ﻁطﺎﻟﺐ ﻣﻦ ﺍاﻻﺗﺤﺎﺩد ﺍاﻟﺴﻮﻓﻴﯿﻴﯿﺘﻲ ﺍاﻟﺴﺎﺑﻖ ﻳﯾﺪﺭرﺱس ﻓﻲ ﺍاﻷﻛﺎﺩدﻳﯾﻤﻴﯿﺔ ﺍاﻟﻤﻠﻜﻴﯿﺔ ﻟﻠﻔﻨﻮﻥن .ﺣﻴﯿﺚ ﺗﻠﻘﻰ ﺩدﻳﯾﻔﺎﺗﺲ ﻣﻨﺤﺔ ﺟﺎﻙك ﻏﻮﻟﺪﻫﮬﮪھﻴﯿﻞ ﻭوﺳﻴﯿﺮ ﺟﺎﻳﯾﻤﺲ ﻭوﺍاﻟﻜﺮ .ﻛﻤﺎ ﺣﺼﻞ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻋﺪﺩد ﻣﻦ ﺍاﻟﺠﻮﺍاﺋﺰ ،٬ﻣﻨﻬﮭﺎ ﺟﺎﺋﺰﺓة ﻏﻴﯿﻨﻴﯿﺲ ﻟـ "ﻓﻨﺎﻥن ﻳﯾﻌﺮﺽض ﻷﻭوﻝل ﻣﺮﺓة" ﻓﻲ ﺍاﻷﻛﺎﺩدﻳﯾﻤﻴﯿﺔ ﺍاﻟﻤﻠﻜﻴﯿﺔ ،٬ﺇإﺿﺎﻓﺔ ﺇإﻟﻰ ﺟﺎﺋﺰﺓة ﺃأﻱي.ﺗﻲ .ﻛﻴﯿﺮﻧﻲ .ﻛﻤﺎ ﻛﺎﻥن ﻟﻪﮫ ﻣﺸﺎﺭرﻛﺔ ﺑﺎﺭرﺯزﺓة ﻓﻲ ﺇإﻁطﺎﺭر ﺟﺎﺋﺰﺓة ﺑﻲ.ﺑﻲ .ﻟﻠﺒﻮﺭرﺗﺮﻳﯾﻪﮫ .ﻭوﻣﺆﺧﺮﺍاً ﺗﻢ ﺗﻜﻠﻴﯿﻔﻪﮫ ﻟﺘﺸﻜﻴﯿﻞ ﻋﻤﻞ ﻓﻨﻲ ﻣﺨﺼﺺ ﻟﻔﻨﺪﻕق ﻓﻮﺭر ﺳﻴﯿﺰﻧﺲ ﻓﻲ ﻣﻮﺳﻜﻮ.
