The Arabian Horse Festival ( JAWADI) Second Edition concluded on the evening of Saturday, January 6, 2024, after two exhilarating days at the Jump Saudi venue in Al Janadriyah, Riyadh. Organized and implemented by Athbah Arts, the festival included the launch of Saudi Breeders Cup Second Edition, organized by the Arabian Horse Organization (AHO) whose Board of Directors is chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and supervised by King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Center, in which a total of 200 Arabian horses and 113 breeders and owners competed for the gold, silver and bronze, cheered on by an audience of Arabian horse fans. The prizes of the first day of the show were awarded to winners by His Excellency the Minister of Sports, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal. Among those who attended the festival was also a number of esteemed guests and prominent figures.
In addition to the Arabian horse show, the festival housed a myriad of activities that satisfied the taste of every visitor. At the entrance, visitors were greeted with an elegant modern art sculpture of a jumping horse, next to it stood an art gallery where talented Saudi artists displayed their passionate work that captured the enchanting beauty of the Arabian horse. Just to the right of the entrance was the lavishly furnished “Diwaniyat Athbah”, a traditional lounge flowing with aesthetics embodying the authentic Saudi culture where visitors lounged and enjoyed the generous hospitality with a cup of freshly made aromatic Saudi coffee and dates of the highest quality. Visitors were also treated to a bountiful variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and stores, as they enjoyed several live performances by a Saudi folklore band who marched around the venue singing with their traditional instruments, adding an air of cheerful celebration to the festival.
