Festy Besty is a clothing line inspired by and dedicated to music festival culture. Their mission is to design high quality and unique pieces that promote positivity, individuality, and togetherness. The brand was founded in 2014 by Paige & Ryne Iseminger. The duo has toured the country setting up pop-up shops at some of the most prestigious music festivals in the world. Some of these festivals include Electric Forest, Spring Awakening and North Coast. Not only have their collections and designs gained attention from pop-up shops and festivals, they have also been featured on various news channels, including MTV, VH1, NBC and FOX. Although Festy Besty does not have a brick and mortar location, they use social media as their biggest platform by advertising on Facebook, Twitter and especially Instagram. Since the festival and electronic scene is advertised as well on these platforms, it is fairly simple to spread their word and brand. Festy Besty means good vibes, good times, and good friends. They are creating cute festival attire for a price that will not drain your wallet. Our ideal muse for this brand is a young adult woman, approximately between the age of 18-24, who takes pride in her fashion sense and has a love of music. We decided to do our window on the focus of women who have a passion for music and where it takes them. Both art and music can draw millions of people from different parts of the world and uplift them emotionally. They both allow people to express their feelings, whether it being anger, love, passion, joy and beauty. Fashion is critically important to music. It can be seen through our history’s musicians and fashion innovators and has ultimately transformed the world we live in. Music celebrities and designer collaborations have altered the course of fashion. The affects of these unions have been very significant. Two things that will never go out of style are fashion and music, as they are crucial to our daily lives and affect how we feel emotionally and physically. This world has dominated pop culture, existing as memorable creations for the stage and entertainment, as well as becoming long-lasting fashion trends. Our overall goal with this window is promote the importance and art (fashion) and music and how they can ultimately change a person. With the three concepts below, we hope to get women to understand that fashion is a place where art, history, love, music, and emotion combine. The road in the background represents the path that music can lead spiritually and mentally while the maps represent direction.
