Welcome! Welcome to the University of Stirling and our first home game here since Wednesday 20 June. The season is into its final third and we only have five matches left. Today’s game against current league champions Glasgow City will be a tough match and is the fourth meeting of the two sides this season. The team are in a strong position in the league and come into today’s match on the back of taking four vital points in our last two league games. These points have given the team daylight over seventh and eighth position and the squad is in a confident place since returning from the mid-season break Head Coach Barry Rodgers has strengthened the squad over the summer, bringing in international quality players from within Scotland and from the United States. U19 Scotland players Naomi Welch and Abby Callaghan have been joined by Americans Kelsey Hodges and Kendra Bonsall and they have made an immediate impact on the squad. Kendra Bonsalls’ goals and performances since joining have already seen her be shortlisted for the August Scottish Buildings Society Player of the Month award. Good Luck to the team today!
