• Thad Jones is a fantastic conductor, and one of the top bandleaders in the world. • The Jones brothers — Hank, Elvin, and Thad — are all well known jazz musicians. In addition to playing in a combo with his brothers, Thad worked with Charles Mingus, wrote arrangements for Harry James, and became a member of the Count Basie band from 1954–1963. Now cancer-free, she dedicates this re-release to the agency that helped her through the fight of her life.
