IAMX

Metanoia Selling Points • • • •

Featuring Chris Corner of the Sneaker Pimps. U.S. tour in support of the album. Lifetime scans in excess of 20,000 units. RIYL: Sneaker Pimps, Nine Inch Nails.

Media & Marketing

• Press by Another Reybee Promotion. • Radio by Never Better Radio Publicity. • Additional promo via Facebook and Google AdWords. IAMX is the solo project of Chris Corner, founding member of electro/trip-hop band Sneaker Pimps. IAMX started in 2004 with the release of debut album Kiss+Swallow. Considered an underground classic, it shaped IAMX’s unique “Glam Noir” sound. Now, Chris has put the final caresses to his sixth IAMX album. Like an electro glam soundtrack to a Jan Svankmajer film, Metanoia mixes Corner’s erotically charged, dynamic vocals with fresh, intricate electronic production, melancholia, and piercing lyrics. This is music that is as brutal as it is emotional. “Lush [and] idiosyncratic.”

“Beyond fantastic … entirely brilliant. Corner’s spectral voice [is] ripe with dark emotions.”

In this day and age, art and love are more important than ever, because they are the conduits that preserve our life forces. If you don’t create art and you don’t love nobody … well then, you will be forgotten rather quickly. No one wants to be forgotten rather quickly. No one more so than Electric Six, who are preparing to unveil their 11th studio album, Bitch, Don’t Let Me Die! The album is steeped in themes of mortality, death, discorporation, and discoloration … all while it tries to convince you it is actually a work of art, and a labor of love.

The Devil

Selling Points

• Highly anticipated sophomore album. • Produced by Klayton (Celldweller). • Mixed by Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria) and Rhys Fulber (Frontline Assembly). • RIYL: Muse, Celldweller, The Prodigy.

It is said that the Devil can take many forms. It is by that virtue on which The Devil, the sophomore LP from Detroit-based electronic rock act Blue Stahli, stands so tall — you will never see the twists and turns that lie in store for you. The opening notes of “The Beginning” echo an aura of foreboding as the pounding of the drums of war begin to boil your blood. Each heart-pounding anthemic track, like the bombastic “Armageddon” and the encouraging “Rockstar,” will have you crying out every word. Bass assassin Emma Anzai (Sick Puppies) steps up on “Not Over Til We Say So” to deliver an unparalleled performance of bass groove and backing vocals. Mark Solomon (Argyle Park, Stavesacre, Neon Horse) joins the dark side with some whiskey-fueled aggression on vocals for “You’ll Get What’s Coming.” And it wouldn’t be The Devil without the help of legendary producer Klayton (Celldweller, Circle of Dust) and mixing from Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, Of Mice & Men, I See Stars) and Rhys Fulber (Conjure One, Front Line Assembly, Fear Factory).

“More heavy, aggressive, and dark sound design.”

Peter Ricq is a creative workaholic, who has made a living by bringing dreams to life as the creator of animated cartoons, his always-shifting visual art, and as the right brain of the electronic musical duo Humans. With his latest project, Geist by Gang Signs, he brings other people’s nightmares to life as dance floor romances, as the majority of the lyrics began as adaptations of 1980s horror movie plots! “Gang Signs make love to your ears.” — VANCOUVER WEEKLY

Adoran is back! After 2013’s acclaimed eponymous debut album, Aidan Baker (Nadja, B/B/S, Whisper Room, Caudal) and Dorian Williamson (Northumbria, Holoscene) follow up with their sophomore effort, Children of Mars. The album picks up where the self-titled debut left off, drawing largely on improvisational soundscapes with Baker relentlessly pounding the drums and Williamson conjuring a wall of sound on his bass. They might be just a duo, but they fill the sound beyond belief. Their exploration of both atmospheric and heavy sounds takes the listener to all kinds of places — from doom and drone to ambient and sludge, you’re in for an epically dark ride. “One of the most important artists in the experimental music scene … a minimalistic doom project … soundscapes of undeniably grand cinematic tonality.” — METAL TEMPLE HHHH Track Listing: Deimos • Phobos Key Markets: Hometown: Toronto Previously released CD: CSD 27 (L) Adoran S/T (3481574347161)

IIVII focuses on sonically engulfing and moody soundscapes, layered with a sciencefiction edge. Beyond, though short-lived in the NYHC scene from 1988–1989, made an impact with their personal brand of Long Island metal-tinged hardcore with intricate riffage. The Dew It! demo was supposed to be recorded for Schism, but the label folded before it got off the ground. Originally recorded on a 1” tape and mixed on cassette, Dew It! has been remixed to give it the sound that was originally intended. Backed with the demo is Beyond’s live set on WYNU’s legendary punk and hardcore radio show “Crucial Chaos,” which was started in the late ’80s and still continues to this day. Now, Revelation Records has combined these two gems on vinyl and paired it with a commemorative booklet! SIDE A: “Dew It! The bastard sons (or patron saints) of South Florida hardcore return with their most frantic, stripped, and raw performance yet. For so many, for so long, Darkbuster (pronounced DAAK-BUST-AH in the proper Boston accent) was a staple in the punk rock landscape worldwide. For Boston punks and skins, they were, and remain, essential. While this record may have taken eight years to complete, it is truly a testament to how important this band is. The passion in these 10 songs will undoubtedly make a mark. This is a record that can be loved and appreciated equally by a 40-something who knows every single classic Darkbuster tune and has seen them a hundred times, or a fresh-faceed teenager hearing them for the first time. As 2012’s Illuminator (the debut album by Lenny Lashley’s Gang Of One) continues to gain the highest of praise, Lenny shows here that he’s at the top of his game. It is for that reason that so many other amazing musicians have supported him, and this project in particular, to help make it a truly standout record. Give it a spin, and you’ll be singing along in no time.

They’ve pushed their hook-based sing-alongs both domestically and abroad through constant touring, racking up releases with the Annihilation EP on Dirtnap Records (2003) and The Black Spot on Duane Peters’ Disaster Records (2005). Charging forward, Rocket To Rainier combines textbook Hollowpoints songwriting with the driving pace of The Black Spot and a more personal feel, bringing you right back to the pop hooks of Old Haunts On The Horizon. With bassist Benny Early taking on some lead vocal duties, the classic call and response Hollowpoints sound has taken on a brand new depth and dimension. Track Listing: Reptilian Way • Rocket to Rainier • Cotton Fever • Cold Blade • Frostbite • 6 A.M. • Sharkwolf • You Ought To Know • Ever Have Your Asshole Licked By A Fat Guy In A Jawbreaker Shirt? • Gas Tank • Can’t Feel At All • Dust Collects • Salt Key Markets: Hometown: Seattle. Premature Burial takes its name from an Edgar Allen Poe story, in which the narrator suffers from episodes of catalepsy and fears being buried alive. The reader is taken through various stages of paranoia, forced to imagine being trapped inside a coffin, paralyzed and unable to communicate their mortal predicament to the world of the living. The title of the album is an homage to director James Wan’s 2013 film, The Conjuring, in which a family moves into a haunted house and is terrorized by an evil force that eventually takes possession of the mother. The private claustrophobia of coffin-death is traded for the collectivized fear of living in a cursed space, as feelings of helplessness and loathing are projected both outward and in. It’s with this shared imagery that we arrive at the sound world of Premature Burial. Comprised of Peter Evans, Matt Nelson, and Dan Peck, all three members use varying degrees of amplification; Evans presses up against a close mic at times, while Nelson and Peck have a full array of effects pedals at their disposal. Combining a vast dynamic spectrum and versatility of form, the resulting pieces range from the sound of softly scurrying rats to pitch-shifted loon-calls from Hell. SIDE A: Cataleptic Fantasy • Instant Death • SIDE B: Eschatology • Bodiless Screams Key Markets: Hometown: New York. Also: Chicago, Philadelphia, Oberlin, Louisville

Trinakrius were formed in Palermo, Italy in 1995. With three albums under their belt and plenty of experience playing live, the band is back with their new album, Introspectrum. Trinakrius is clearly a heavy/power metal band, but with the use of keyboards and cited influences such as Black Sabbath, Candlemass, and Cathedral, it’s easy to tell that the doom aspect is also quite present. This year finds the band with a completely new line-up, with only original founding-member Claudio Florio remaining, although this record also boasts the return of original vocalist Francesco Chiazzese. Trinakrius is here to stay!

The three discs in this set document Wayne’s journey from the New York comedy clubs of the ’80s, to Los Angeles “alt” rooms in the ’90s, to theaters around the world in the 2000s. The album serves as both a fascinating case study in the evolution of one comedian, and a one-of-a-kind window on the state of American stand-up comedy over the last 30 years. Wayne Federman is an American comedian, actor, author, comedy writer, and musician known for his appearances on “The X-Files,” “The Larry Sanders Show,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” Legally Blonde, 50 First Dates, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and Step Brothers. He was the head monologue writer for NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” in its first season. “The most ubiquitous comedian in LA … Wayne Federman might not quite be a household name, but in LA’s sprawling comedy scene he’s ‘That Guy’ every comic seems to know.”

“Maybe the only comic who has his own annual international film festival … Federman has discovered that the audience is a true hybrid of stand-up comedy fans and film geeks.”

Completely reimagined version of an early album from Daniel Graves. Another Reybee will work press. Additional in-house servicing to press, radio, and DJs. Facebook and Google ad campaigns. RIYL: Combichrist, Skinny Puppy, KMFDM, The Birthday Massacre.

In 2007, Daniel Graves released the album Blood Spills Not Far from the Wound under the moniker Necessary Response. A collection of songs originally intended for release on the debut Aesthetic Perfection album, their less aggressive nature lead to their removal under pressure from his European label. After nearly a decade of regret, renewed interest in the project lead Daniel to resurrect the defunct project for a one-off concert in his hometown of Los Angeles. To prepare for the show, each song was deconstructed and rebuilt, track by track, using the original recordings. To Daniel’s surprise, he found himself excited by the prospect of taking the record back and releasing it on his own terms. So now Blood Spills Not Far From The Wound is back from the dead, revived with newly recorded vocals, and new artwork. This is not your typical re-release; rather, it is a complete re-envisioning of the record that never was. Stylistically, we’re talking pure death industrial here, falling somewhere between European structure and fortitude mixed with American intensity and hostility — impossibly bleak and nihilistic to the core, populated by cold frequency shudders and mechanized aggression that’s sometimes atmospheric and ominous, other times more violent and tension-filled. Either way, this can be slow and deliberate in the best way possible, with a firm grasp on composition and pacing skills, the vocals high in the mix and coming in at just the right times and delivered with conviction and power.
