Dogs are also able to use their superior sense of smell to sniff out illegal substances and to find and rescue people. Episode 1: Crucial Hearing Visit a Terrier that barks to alert a young boys’ parents if he stops breathing and see how a service dog is trained. Episode 2: The Uncommon Nose Dogs are trained to detect illegal DVDs in Malaysia and in Japan, search and rescue dogs are trained to respond to disasters.
