ROY HILL STATION MINING VILLAGE Year: 2012 Place: Datum GDA 94 MGA Zone 50, Australia Area: 307 200 sqkm Chief architects: Sandy Edge, Colin Rofe Mission: Our goal was to redesign an existing mining village, to put all blocks in a proper way and orient them to the North to maximize direct solar admission. They should not form straight lines, they should meander slightly. The accommodation should present a twostorey pavilion with both stairway and a lift at the start of the accommodation runs. The accommodation blocks are to be located between existing trees. 6|

SOUTHDOWN ALBURY MINING VILLAGE Year: 2012 Place: Southdown Albury, Australia Area: 576 000 sqkm Chief architect: Sandy Edge Mission: To design a better planned mining village for 1500 people. Buildings should have two floors. Our goal was to organize a wider space between the buildings creating a more private space for its residents. The accommodation blocks should be located around the existing pond. All the mining works are held according to stepby-step scheduled diagram, which should be considered during the process of designing.

MICRO CAMP MODULAR CONCEPT Year: 2013 Place:Perth, Australia Mission: This project consists of three types of planning and each unit covers areas of different sizes. The amount of floors and units can vary in each case. Each area has a parking space, BBQ zone, a recreation zone, a communal kitchen with e n t e rta i n m e n t area, space for drying clothes and laundry. Much importance is given to the landscap, which is unique in each area.

HOME SWEET HOME Year: 2010-2011 Place: Mytishchi, the Moscow region Russian Federation Area: 83 sqm Mission: This project was designed for a family of two. The apartment was reconstructed from having two bedrooms to having one bedroom and a large living room. The main idea was to create more space increasing the amount of day light, the apartment should be comfortable for living and working and adapted to its users’ needs.

The main challenge was to manage space organization. It used to be prolonged open space which we divided in several sections to make it comfortable to live in. STUDENT PROJECT Year: 2011 Place: PFUR Campus, Moscow, Russia Mission: This conceptual design project student campus for 10,000 people. Location - any earthquakeresistant region with adverse climatic conditions. This project has unique design of the streets and buildings. They are based on the maze. City-maze does not depend on the weather conditions, it is always warm and dry. Built-up area - 25,000 sq. m, climate control, underground parking for 1,600 cars. Lots of restaurants, shops, parks, public gardens – everything, that the modern students need. 32 |

KINDERGARTEN „LITTLE VILLAGE“ IN SINGAPORE Year: 2016 Place: Grange Road, Singapore Area: 3700 sqm Mission: This project has been devided into four stages. Design brief for the ist stage: to create a playhouse and large open space with viewing point for children’s play games, create storage space for teaching materials and tools – gardening shed, create a bike parking zone, create a trickle steam with pump surrounded by flowers, big stones and bushes, create a nice garden with fruits and vegetables.
