On behalf of Geppert’s Rock Creek Livestock we would like to welcome you to our 23rd annual bull and female sale. We appreciate you taking the time to look through and evaluate the sale offering and hope you will join us on sale day. We are pleased to present a solid of bulls and replacement quality heifers for your consideration and are excited about the genetic potential they offer! We are offering a select group of cows on the sale also, many will have calved by sale day and will sell with their calf at side.
This year’s offering combines an elite set of potential herd sires that are well designed and functional to better meet your needs and increase your bottom line. All the bulls and heifers in the sale have been parent verified and genetically tested to provide genomic enhanced EPD’s with higher accuracy for our customers to meet their needs. In our quest for superior cattle, we continue to genomic test all our replacement females utilizing these results in our breeding decisions. We believe phenotype is important and cattle need sound feet and legs, be deep bodied, long spined, thick made with muscle expression.
Our end goal remains the same: produce functional cattle to add more profitability for our customers. If you are in the Mitchell area before the sale please stop by and look through the bulls, heifers, and bred females- we would love to visit with you about the cattle that would meet your needs.

Sale Format
All cattle have been videoed and this will be a video auction. Cattle will be displayed in pens for your viewing sale day. Sale videos can be found at DVAuction.com
Volume Discounts
Volume disounts are offered starting at 2 bulls, 2% and increasing 1% for each additional bull up to 5 bulls- 5% maximum discount.
Announcements
A supplement sheet will be available Feb 5 with updated epds ultrasound data, all announcements made sale day take precedent over printed material, persons attending this sale does so at their own risk.
Herd Health
All the bulls received spring and fall shots and tested negative for BVD. All bulls will receive a 7-way booster and a breeding soundness exam.
Guarantee
All bulls selling are guaranteed for the first breeding season to be fertile. If you believe there is a fertility problem, it should be documented by a veterinarian. Please notify us as soon as possible should injury occur and prior to the bull being sold for salvage.

Wintering
Bulls will be kept free of charge until deliveries begin the last two weeks in March. If you are unable to take your bull until a later date please make arrangements with us.
Delivery
Take your bull home sale day and receive $100 credit. Free delivery up to 300 miles, arrangements will be made to assist with further distances. We ask you take bred cows/ pairs home sale day or as close to sale day as possible. Heifers will be delivered as soon after the sale as possible.
EPDs
Printed Epds are as of January 27, 2023. Please note EPDS may change from the time the catalog is printed until sale day. ALL the bulls and heifers have been parent verified and have genomic enhanced EPD’s.
Absentee Bidding
Live internet bidding is available through DVAuction. com or you may contact Kevin or Helen, the sale representatives, or DVAuction prior to the sale.
Terms and Conditions
Terms of the sale are cash, and all settlements must be made at the close of the auction. Cattle sell under the suggested terms and conditions of the American Angus Association.
Retained Interest
Rock Creek Livestock is retaining 1/3 revenue sharing semen interest in every bull in the sale. Full possession sells on all bulls.
