It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the third annual Bull Sale at Badger Creek Cattle Company! This is without a doubt the deepest and most consistent set of bulls from Badger Creek Cattle Company to date. They offer superior uniformity, consistency and most importantly quality that represents the breeding program at Badger Creek Cattle Company. Yearling, 18 month-old, and strong aged two-year-old bulls will be offered in this event. The donor pen at Badger Creek is without a doubt one of the most impressive groups of females anywhere in North America. Flawless feet and legs, udder quality, rib capacity, and style to burn. These matrons are forage efficiency experts that graze the native grass of the flint hills and can not only maintain in this environment, but thrive! Fertility, udder quality, fleshing ability, and longevity are key traits of importance that are strongly selected for. Cattle that wear the B/C brand have endured a strict culling process in order to make “the cut”. Highly maternal, functional, problem free females make up the cow, herd. The philosophy behind the B/C brand is that good bulls come from great cows, and there is no denying the quality of females in Emporia. Extensive AI and Embryo transfer is utilized in order to improve uniformity and quality of calf crop. In times like we have endured this winter, the added forage efficiency, do-ability, and fleshing ability is a must! These cattle are capable of maintaining body condition on less, therefore lowering input costs and in turn increasing your operations bottom-line! Guarentee Unless otherwise noted, all the breeding age bulls

will have passed a breeding soundness exam prior to pick up/delivery. In addition to the standard Terms and Conditions of the American Simmental Association and the American Angus Association we will provide the first breeding season (the 90-day period immediately following turn out) guarantee on all yearling and older bulls. This guarantee is not an insurance or mortality policy, but a guarantee on functional fertility. It is not a substitute or replacement for poor management. Buyer assumes all risks for injury due to running bulls together or management decisions outside genetic control. For the guarantee to apply, we ask that you contact us as soon as a condition is observed and before the animal is sold. We will work with you to determine whether the animal is returned or sold for slaughter. We will attempt to provide a suitable replacement. If one cannot be provided of equal or greater value, we will issue a refund for the full purchase price less the salvage value of the animal.
