All Saints Anglican School PRESENTS Wednesday 19 October 2022 Nairn Theatre BeInspired

Welcome to Musical Showcase 2022

Musical Showcase is our premiere music evening for our Middle and Senior School musicians, and I know you will enjoy, and be inspired by their talent, passion and dedication. I am very proud of the ongoing commitment displayed by our musicians to ensemble rehearsals, personal practise and motivation in lessons. The results and rewards are found in concerts such as this and I know Musical Showcase 2022 is one they will cherish and remember.

As this concert will be the last formal performance for our Year 12 musicians. I would like to pay a special tribute to them. They are a diverse and talented cohort who have acted as inspiration to our younger musicians. I am sure that we will see some of them in concert halls and stages around the world in the future, and their experience in the Performing Arts will enhance all aspects of their lives, wherever their path may lead.

Thank you too, to our tireless staff. We have 43 teachers of Music and Drama at All Saints, from the instrumental or drama teachers who are here one day per week to full time classroom teachers of drama or music. All working together as a cohesive team to organise, develop and inspire children over many years of their schooling. As many of our Year 12 students will attest, a special bond is often created and the teacher will often be remembered for many years to come. Thank you staff for your professionalism, dedication and talent.

We hope you enjoy the concert this evening and join with me in congratulating our wonderful musicians on their achievements and performances.
