All Saints Vocal Festival 2023
The All Saints Anglican School Vocal Festival is an Eisteddfod-style performance event, but with a less competitive approach. The focus is on involvement and personal achievement in an encouraging environment.
This is an opportunity for students from Years 5-12 to perform for an adjudicator and receive a report with positive and constructive feedback. Special adjudicator awards will be presented across sections.
About the Adjudicator: Geoffrey Ashenden
Geoffrey was a secondary school music teacher before his 20 year career as a singer, performing both here and overseas. He has been a studio teacher for over 35 years, including 16 years at Tertiary level at QUT and the Qld Conservatorium.
Geoffrey operates a busy private practice as a piano and voice teacher and is an AMEB examiner of both singing and piano. He is a Past President of Qld ANATS, was on the National Council, and was a committee member for the International Congress of Voice Teachers (ICVT) for 2013. He is committed to encouraging and mentoring young musicians and teachers.
