STARTING AT ALL SAINTS’ COLLEGE IN YEAR 7 IN 2017, HAD
NO
IDEA
WHAT TO EXPECT OR WHAT THE NEXT SIX YEARS WOULD ENTAIL. was most excited about all the cocurricular options and new opportunities had never had before, and so joined all the clubs could and put myself out there for new experiences. This has continued to be one of the best aspects about my time at All Saints’ College to this day, from finding great friends and community in the Rowing Club to embracing the rewarding opportunity to travel to China for an innovation program in 2019. have been able to do so much in my time at the College that I would have never dreamed of when was younger. am really thankful for the College’s encouragement of my interests and individual pathway. have always loved art and at All Saints’ College
have absolutely been able to pursue this passion with the encouragement of teachers and the wider College community. Through the College’s enabling programs and opportunities, I’ve been able to develop skills and have my work shown in exhibitions, and even been given opportunities to earn income from my art through various opportunities, including the College’s very own employment agency for students.
The teachers at All Saints’ College, in particular, have been so wonderful, making genuine connections with students and encouraging us to achieve our potential. Not only has this been helpful in allowing me to flourish academically, but it made coming to school a joy every day.
MY ALL SAINTS’ COLLEGE JOURNEY BEGAN IN 2013 AS A YOUNG EIGHT-YEAR-OLD READY TO TAKE ON YEAR 3!
still remember how green the grass was – testament to the College’s amazing Grounds staff and their continued hard work in making the campus look as good as it does – and how warm and welcoming the smiles were.
From day one felt very included and supported in the All Saints’ College community. This inclusivity and supportiveness continued throughout my school experience. Staff, parents and the other students all put their best foot forward to ensure my peers and I could strive to be our best selves.
am forever grateful for the opportunities provided to me at the College. have been able to expand my paradigm through activities such as Mock Trial, Bands, Choirs, Dance concerts, Service programs, Sporting opportunities: the list goes on. take up any opportunity when it comes up: some may say take on too much, but I say every missed opportunity is like watching the numbers in your bank account go down so embraced the vast amount of opportunities provided at All Saints’ College.
Some of the most special opportunities will never forget are the Outdoor Learning Programs. Not only did they allow me to develop new relationships, but they also challenged me, and it was there found myself grow the most. learnt a lot about my peers and myself, and it is these memories that will cherish forever.
In my final years at the College chose to take the ATAR Pathway, and was also able to obtain a Certificate along the way.
From the wide array of subjects offered by the College, was able to choose a very diverse combination of subjects, from Humanities and Social Sciences to Sciences to Languages, to foster my diverse range of interests. Through this have found a passion for Science and hope to pursue a career in the scientific field. also found the confidence to begin my brand in the social media industry, and hope to continue to grow this brand.
As depart student life at All Saints’ College, know that have been equipped by some of the best with some of the best tools to tackle the world outside the College. do, however, hope to remain part of the All Saints’ community as it has played a major role in shaping who am today, and would love to give back to the College in the future.
ARRIVED AT ALL SAINTS’ COLLEGE IN 2015 AND HAVE CHERISHED THE OPPORTUNITIES AND FRIENDS I HAVE MADE ALONG THE WAY.
All Saints’ College stands out as a great school because of the incredible dedication the teachers have to the students – they care deeply and this makes all of the opportunities at All Saints’ College possible.
My brother Andrew graduated from All Saints’ College in 2012 with an ATAR of 99.3. At the time was eight, and can remember sitting at the annual Presentation Ceremony at the end of the year feeling a sense of trepidation about the idea of Year 12 and the immense work and expectation it entailed. felt would never be able to live up to my brother’s achievements, and people often made Year 12 sound like one of the hardest and most stressful experiences you can go through.
Looking back, however, can see now that – with all the support that the staff at All Saints’ provide – Year 12 is relatively straightforward, provided that you show up and put your mind to it. I enjoyed school more as the
years progressed because of the challenge of the courses and increasing independence experienced.
Rather than your ATAR score, the learning and life experiences school provides are what really count. I won’t remember the grades on test papers but will remember what learnt studying for them. will remember the fun times playing basketball and football with mates, the Outdoor Learning Programs, and the sporting opportunities and carnivals.
will remember the lessons learnt from previous graduates, and the friends I made along the way.
studied Mathematics Methods, Mathematics Specialist, Chemistry, Physics and English, and completed Year 12 Economics in Year 11. My enjoyment of Economics and Mathematics has led me to pursue a degree at the Australian National University (ANU), studying a Bachelor of Finance, Economics and Statistics. Both my brother and father lived at ANU’s John XXIII College in Canberra where they made lifelong friends, and intend to move to Canberra to do the same. Whilst am sad to leave All Saints’ College, look forward to the future.

WE ARE PLEASED TO PROVIDE A SNAPSHOT OF ALL SAINTS’ COLLEGE STUDENTS’ DIVERSE EXPERIENCES, INTERESTS AND ASPIRATIONS.
BEGAN MY JOURNEY
AT ALL SAINTS’ COLLEGE IN 2009 AS A THREE-YEAR-OLD IN KINDERGARTEN AND, OVER THAT TIME, THE COLLEGE HAS GIVEN ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO GROW IN WAYS NEVER THOUGHT WOULD.
In a time of personal adversity, was supported by the College's exceptional pastoral care, and grew to become a stronger and more resilient individual.
fell in love with All Saints’ College from an incredibly early age – it quickly became my second home as made lifelong friendships and memories. The College was the village which supported me through my greatest personal challenge, thanks to the support of the staff.
In my final years at the College, with the guidance of the College’s Head of Futures who was exceptional in helping me find a path in achieving my dreams and passions, chose the ATAR pathway. In Year 12 studied Politics
and Law, Economics, Modern History, Mathematics Applications and English.
Beyond All Saints’ College, wish to achieve my personal dream of travelling the world, listening to and telling people’s stories, then hopefully using that knowledge to land a job as a Diplomat in a foreign nation. would describe my relationship with the teachers and staff at All Saints’ College as beyond memorable, being surrounded by adults who were always there to support and challenge me, whether that be my Year 9 Physical Education teacher or the staff in Student Services.
will stay in touch with the All Saints’ College community which was always there to support me, and have created lifelong relationships at the College.
My journey at All Saints’ College has been exceptional, and it is 14 years of my life will never forget!
THERE WAS: A SKINNY, SENSITIVE, EIGHT-YEAR-OLD BOY STARING AT WHAT WOULD BECOME MY SECOND HOME FOR THE NEXT NINE YEARS OF MY LIFE. had come from a small school in Mandurah, so All Saints’ College was massive in comparison, and little Rodrigo felt a little apprehensive. had no idea that this College and the community within it could help me so much, not only my academic development but also my character.
All Saints’ College is an environment where anyone can be completely themselves and discover what makes them unique, a place where teachers and students alike form relationships that last lifetimes. The opportunities that the College provides has helped so many students discover their “why”.
What was my “why”? I found purpose in helping others feel heard and appreciated. found purpose in telling stories that would connect with audiences emotionally as well as bringing them together. The Drama courses that studied over the last eight years have helped me discover my passion for the Arts and performance.
The ability to embody a character and to be a vessel in which to tell their story is one think is remarkable, and All Saints’ introduced me to that world. It also made me a more confident and outgoing person, to the point where felt excited to audition and take part in the 2021 College Production of Mamma Mia!
Not only has the College helped me, but it has also helped my family. When my sisters came from Brazil years ago, they didn’t know much English and moving to Australia was a very daunting experience. All Saints’ had the kindness to guide them through their paths, helping them discover their passions. am lucky now to have a little niece named Rebecca, and two amazing sisters by my side supporting me through my transition towards adulthood.
Towards the end of my All Saints’ College journey made the decision to apply for College Captain, to give back to the community that has done so much for my family and I. wanted to encourage and support younger students who had gone through the same experiences at me. Now, on my way to study Musical Theatre at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), look back at my time at the College with pride, knowing that am now an Old Saint and always will be.
IT FEELS LIKE JUST YESTERDAY WHEN FIRST TOURED ALL SAINTS’ COLLEGE.
As a frightened and pretty overwhelmed youngster, entered the College’s annual Orientation Day late in 2016 and unsure of my future.
How times have changed!
Throughout my six years at All Saints’ College I’ve been on a crazy journey. From the highs of cheering at the Athletics Carnival to the lows of some questionable decisions in my younger years, have come out the other side a more well-rounded, self-assured person. A lot of that is to do with the people have met along the way.
At All Saints’ College there is no shortage of amazing individuals. From my immensely passionate French teacher to the Head of Futures, the College staff have embraced me and allowed me to excel and push towards the future diplomatic career wish to embark upon. Taking on six ATAR subjects whilst managing Sports Captain duties has had its challenges but, with the support of my teachers, would like to think have succeeded.
And, of course, could not have undertaken this journey without the support of my close friends and family.
If there is one piece of advice have for All Saints’ College students or anyone else (with a little help from Nelson Mandela), it is the following:
“Don’t judge yourself by your successes. Judge yourselves by how many times you fell down and got back up again.”
School is not meant to be easy. Neither is life. So don’t be harsh on yourself.
We learn so much more from our failures than our successes. And triumphing in their wake is so much more rewarding.
look forward to revisiting the College in the coming years—a community that will forever hold a special place in my heart.
STARTING IN YEAR 9, MY JOURNEY AT ALL SAINTS’ COLLEGE WAS UNIQUE AND INSPIRING.
was offered a multitude of possibilities which enriched my growth as an individual and prepared me for life beyond school, including the unparalleled Work Experience program in Year 11 which developed the vital skills that I will require in the workplace. All Saints’ College’s focus on establishing students’ foundations for their post-school journey is one of the many qualities that make it such a unique place.
The teachers at the College greatly supported me in my learning journey, encouraging me in my studies and enabling me to perform at my best.
The community at All Saints’ – from enthusiastic staff to passionate students – is understanding and supportive. I am grateful to have been a part of this extraordinary group of individuals and hope to keep in touch with the College community in the future.
In my senior years of schooling chose an ATAR pathway, studying Literature, Modern History, Economics, Design and Visual Art in Year 12. greatly enjoyed all of my subjects, finding Modern History particularly interesting. greatly appreciate all of my teachers who made my time at All Saints’ College extremely valuable and enjoyable, putting in an immense amount of effort to prepare students for their further studies.
have accepted an offer to The University of Western Australia and am looking forward to studying Fine Arts and History of Art in 2023.
Overall, I am very grateful for being a part of the All Saints’ College community. The College has had a positive impact on me as an individual, encouraging me to be creative and pursue my goals. am pleased to have completed my final years of schooling at All Saints’ College; will never forget this one-of-a-kind experience.

Since starting at All Saints’ College in 2017, the opportunities have been presented with have been unimaginable. From working with state-renowned theatre directors through HotHouse Company to debating in the State Finals for the British Parliamentary Debating Competition, the College has provided me with experiences could not have dreamed of. But the thing that makes All Saints’ College special is the people—the staff, the students, the parents, the community. They are an endless source of support and care, ready to raise you up when you need it most. have made relationships at the College not only with students but also with staff and community members, relationships which will last a lifetime.
In my final years of school pursued an ATAR pathway, but not in its typical form. was given the opportunity to begin my ATAR journey in Year 10 and to sit my WACE exams for Modern History ATAR
and Drama ATAR in 2021 as a Year 11 student. This opportunity, while it came with its challenges, altered my Year 12 experience, allowing me to focus on my four remaining ATAR subjects while still giving me time to live a balanced Year 12 life filled with life-changing experiences. One such experience was being College Captain, which will remain with me as one of my most treasured memories.
Though the thought of closing this chapter of my life as an All Saints’ College student is bittersweet, look forward to the next chapter of my life with excitement. grew up knowing that wanted to make a change, and this next chapter will bring me a step closer to that goal. Beyond All Saints’ College will be studying Political Science and International Relations with an Assured Pathway to a Juris Doctor, with the hopes of using these degrees to work towards equality and justice.
will forever be grateful for my time at All Saints’ College. am who am and where am because of the opportunities and experiences this College gave me. look forward to staying in contact with the College as an Old Saint and giving back to a community that has given me so much.
WITH MY FIRST STEP INTO AN ALL SAINTS’ COLLEGE CLASSROOM 14 YEARS AGO, KNEW HAD A ‘HOME AWAY FROM HOME’.
From my inaugural Kindergarten lesson to my final day in Year 12, every day at the College has been a privilege, each day distinctive and unique.
In my final two years at All Saints’ College chose the ATAR pathway, starting with six ATAR subjects for the first half of Year 11. Due to my achievement of a Duke of Edinburgh certificate that provided a couple of units, was able to drop one subject, settling with Psychology, Chemistry, Economics, English and Mathematics Methods as well as a study line (for which am forever grateful).
Some have commented on the diversity of the subjects chose; however, I really enjoyed the different demands of each course, whether it was the infamous titration in Chemistry or the time-pressure of an extended response in Psychology.
By July of my final year, based on my Year 11 results, had accepted an early offer for a double degree in Psychology
and Law at Curtin University, a five-year course. Early offers this year were high among All Saints’ students, and would definitely recommend this plan to students doing the ATAR pathway, if available, as it releases a lot of the pressure that can come with final exams. From my first lesson in Psychology in Year 11 to the final exam, loved (almost) every second of my pathway and knew that was the path I wanted to follow.
What makes All Saints’ College special for me are the opportunities it provides. This begins not just in what would claim to be the best school campus in WA, with its brilliant facilities and unique classroom layouts, but also with the pathways available. Whether choosing an ATAR, VET, TAFE or General pathway, you always feel supported and know that you have great resources you can turn to for advice.
As one who enjoys not only academic activities but also external and community opportunities, the College’s provision of partnerships and cocurricular options was amazing and well-utilised by me. As the College’s 2022 Service Captain, embraced the many relationships it holds with organisations such as The Salvation
Army and Beyond Blue, and organised initiatives like the ‘Swop Shop’—ASC’s own Op Shop. If there was one piece of advice could pass along to students in any year, it is to step out of your comfort zone and take part. From Robotics Club to Orchestras, from Chess Club and Photography classes to Gen Connect and the annual Anglicare WA School Sleepouts, I’ve enjoyed every moment, even if I learnt that some activities just aren't for me!
All Saints’ College is memorable also for its warm and embracing community, one that has become family over the years. formed bonds with groups was placed into, such as Murdoch House, or my Tutor Group, and with those chose, like the Student Council or the Catalyst Leadership Team. While look forward to the experiences awaiting me, it comes with sadness to leave All Saints’ College, and so am excited to join a new College group – the Old Saints’ community – and will enthusiastically await the upcoming events. will make sure to keep in touch with the All Saints’ community, both staff and students, because as a Collegian* All Saints’ is a part of my identity that will forever cherish.

WHEN REFLECT ON MY JOURNEY AT ALL SAINTS’ COLLEGE, THE WORD THAT COMES TO MIND IS GRATEFUL: GRATEFUL FOR THE OPPORTUNITIES, THE MEMORIES AND THE GROWTH THIS COLLEGE HAS GIVEN ME.
MIA MILLWARD
I’VE BEEN AT ALL SAINTS’ SINCE KINDY.
I’m forever grateful for these 14 years at the College – for the cherished memories I’ve made inside and outside the classroom, for the constant feeling of support from the community, as well as for the friends I’ve made along the way.
Throughout my time at ASC, getting involved in the wide range of opportunities offered has provided me with so many valuable experiences and relationships that I’ll take with me into the future.
One highlight is my time as an Anglicare Ambassador. Being able to work as a team to make a difference to people’s lives has broadened my world view and motivated me to continue to give back to the community in the future. also took full advantage of the incredible tertiary Innovative Schools Scholars Program, where was able to further explore my interests in Science, and gain valuable and inspiring insight into university life.
In my final year, and with my interests in the field of STEM, I completed Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics Methods, Mathematics Specialist and Literature. Whilst this course was inevitably challenging at times, the quality and care of teachers – as well as having classmates could turn to – definitely helped me through. I was also careful to not neglect my love for art and netball, and so found time to create whenever possible and play for the ASC Netball Club, ultimately contributing to both a productive and enjoyable final year.
While I’m not entirely sure what I’ll be studying beyond ASC, I hope to stay within the field of STEM, possibly via a Bachelor of Philosophy at The University of Western Australia.
Thank you to everyone who has made my time at the College a great one. look forward to seeing what the future holds.

JOINED ALL SAINTS’ COLLEGE HALFWAY THROUGH YEAR
11 AND STRAIGHT AWAY
FELT SO COMFORTABLE AND APPRECIATED.
have enjoyed so much of the All Saints’ experience; I’ve received so many different opportunities and have been able to join a community where feel accepted.
When came to All Saints’ College, chose to switch from an ATAR pathway to a General pathway, with four subjects and a Certificate IV in Business. Having completed this, feel accomplished and set for my future. Before making the decision to switch, received plenty of support from the College and was able to understand all the options available to me. found my Certificate to be very practical, and gained lots of information which will be able to take with me in any future pathway choose.
With my Certificate IV, plan to attend university and study a Bachelor of Psychology, hoping eventually to include a combined degree in Law as well. am very passionate about human rights, and hope to use my education to pursue a career in activism and support those in need.

think that All Saints’ College stands apart from other schools in the way that students are treated and the opportunities that they are given. As students we are given more choices and responsibilities to take on as we progress through our schooling. Every person grows as a student, a leader and a community member.
The All Saints’ College experience is far beyond just academics: there is so much more to get involved in at the College and new opportunities are always available. have found all the teachers and staff at All Saints’ to be incredibly supportive, kind and patient in all that they do. As mentioned, moved halfway through the school year, and every teacher had made the effort to check up on me frequently and offer me lots of support.
definitely will keep in touch with the All Saints’ College community: am so grateful for the opportunities have received and the friends I’ve made, and would love to give back to the community as an Old Saint.
I BEGAN MY ALL SAINTS’ COLLEGE JOURNEY IN YEAR
7 IN 2017 WITH A MIX OF NERVOUSNESS AND EXCITEMENT.
Like the rest of my peers, was warmly welcomed into the All Saints’ College community by students and staff alike.
Various opportunities for personal development, including my chosen pursuits of student leadership and debating, were available and encouraged from early in my time at the College. These cocurricular activities assisted me not only in further embedding myself within the community, but also in developing my confidence and my skills in leadership and communication. The focus on cocurricular at All Saints’ College came to be of great benefit as reached the end of school, with the opportunities embraced featuring on my resumé, in job applications and in university and scholarship applications.
The wide variety of Humanities ATAR subjects at All Saints’ College allowed me to focus my Year 11 and 12 studies on the areas of Economics, Politics and
Law and Modern History, along with completing Mathematics Applications, English and a Certificate III in Events. It was these Humanities subjects, along with my numerous conversations with teachers on their career experiences and the invaluable Year 11 Work Experience program, that informed my choice to pursue university education in Political Science and Commerce at The Australian National University in 2024. In the meantime, will be taking a gap year in 2023 to experience non-academic life, and to visit all the historical European cities and landmarks learnt about in Modern History.
What believe separates All Saints’ College from the numerous other schools in Perth is the dedication and passion of the teaching staff. Their knowledge in their respective fields is inspiring, and it was always clear that they strived to create the best learning environment possible. will always look back fondly on my time within the All Saints’ College community and will be forever grateful for the opportunities it provided me.

IT FEELS LIKE ONLY YESTERDAY THAT WAS A YEAR 7 MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP STUDENT AT ALL SAINTS’ COLLEGE IN 2017.
skipped Year 12 to commence a Bachelor of Music at The University of Western Australia (UWA), and have greatly missed ASC as it was my second home for five years.
The most memorable experiences at the College arise from the wide range of opportunities offered and supported by the staff and my peers. These include teamwork activities, such as performing at Assemblies, Eucharists and concerts as a choir singer, a string ensemble member and an orchestra player. However, the ongoing support made independent activities more enjoyable as well, such as performing as a solo violinist and pianist, and being an athletic and cross country representative for the College.
All Saints’ has helped develop my leadership skills and improve myself to become a better individual as served the College as a Service Representative, Arts Councillor and Peer Support Leader.
The College also taught me how to manage my time efficiently. Alongside my academic studies, represented WA in badminton, joined the Western Australian Youth Orchestra (WAYO) and obtained several diplomas in piano, such as the Associate in Music Australia (AMusA), Associate of Trinity College of London with Distinction (ATCL) and Licentiate of Trinity College of London (LTCL). am forever thankful to the ASC community for giving me the strength to perform to the best of my abilities in all my academic, musical and sporting activities.
In Year 11 chose the ATAR pathway and studied English, Mathematics Methods, Human Biology and Physical Education Studies. am very grateful for the opportunity to accelerate in Western Art Music and Accounting and Finance, allowing me to complete two Year 12 courses in Year 11. With the support of the Music staff, achieved the Year 12 Western Art Music Course Prize Award and obtained full marks in my WACE practical exam, which exceeded my expectations.
Having a career in Music has been my dream since the beginning of high school. All Saints’ College’s excellent Music curriculum prepared me to transition easily to the Bachelor of Music course at UWA in 2022. majored in Piano for the first semester. However, UWA permitted me to study the violin in the second semester alongside the piano, where learning two instruments simultaneously has never been done before. A much greater surprise is that UWA has offered to transfer me to the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) for Music Specialist Studies in 2023, which plan to accept. believe these incredible achievements would not have been possible without the skills have developed at All Saints’ College. will definitely keep in touch with the All Saints’ community as plan to tutor students in the future and hope to become a positive role model for them. want to encourage them to never give up on their passions and support them in achieving their goals, reflecting the immense support received from the All Saints’ College community.
