welcome As the countryside bursts into life we welcome you to our spring issue brimming with things to see, do and enjoy… An exclusive interview with Rugby’s iconic Mad Dog Lewis Moody and his wife explores the amazing work they are accomplishing from right in the heart of Bradford on Avon. Anna Morris tells us about her hilarious ‘Bridezilla’ wedding show which is part of this month’s Bath Comedy Festival. Be sure to join the ‘Party in the City’ - a free night of music which opens Bath’s Music Festival in May and even enjoy a Shakespearean production as theatres worldwide commemorate his 400th centenary. Lacock recently provided the backdrop to a new TV show about his life as a young man. We also take a look at Lacock’s own fresh-faced internet sensation - Zoella. Garden landscaper James Treacy is back in the area to help spruce up your gardens, while the extensive woods and grounds of the American Museum, including a brand new ‘Toy Story’ exhibit are open and ideal for family outings. Meanwhile, you can celebrate local food idols; explore or revisit interesting eateries; investigate new hobbies; and consider entering the Wiltshire Business Awards. Our next issue begins a series on how local businesses benefit the local economy. Until then, enjoy April’s sunshine and showers and the fresh and sunny air of May… Angela Clarence

Their new sponsors stated that they are “…delighted to support the development of the Orchestra, to help with the encouragement and promotion of young musicians across the region…and the new name reflects the aspirations and the ambitions of everyone involved.” Their concert on April 1 with British Cellist Matthew Sharp which included Dvorak’s Cello Concerto was part of the international commemorative Somme100 project-100 Years/100 Orchestras for which they performed Laura Rossi’s evocative score to the Battle of the Somme - a memorable event for both players and audience. Friends of Woolley meet at The George
T
he Annual General Meeting of Friends of Woolley (FoW) will be held at The George, Woolley Street on Sunday 22 May at 4-6pm. FoW were delighted when the pub reopened after a year’s closure. In return, the new owners, Alex and Alison, have been very welcoming, giving us space for meetings of the Executive and hosting a joint Christmas Party in December. The George appears to be thriving, with morning coffee, afternoon tea and a full bar and meals service attracting locals and visitors from farther away. The AGM will celebrate further progress and demonstrate a continued need for a strong local voice in community affairs. At this year’s event we want to explore ways of involving FoW members more actively in between annual meetings and we have some new ideas. Come along and contribute to the debate! YOUNG WILL SHAKESPEARE
A
s the world celebrates Shakespeare 400 with concerts, exhibitions and theatrical productions, filming begins in Wiltshire on a US TV pilot portraying a young William Shakespeare romping through the ‘punk rock theatre scene that was 16th century London’. Will is directed by Shekhar Kapur, best known for directing Elizabeth with Cate Blanchett; is scripted by Craig Pearce, whose credits include Strictly Ballroom, the Leonardo DiCaprio Romeo and Juliet, Moulin Rouge, The Great Gatsby and The Death and Life of Charlie St Cloud with Zac Efron. With such a great team perhaps TNT and their young star can do for Shakespeare what the BBC and Cumberbatch have done for Sherlock. The title role is played by drama school student Laurie Davidson (opposite) who took a small role in teen movie Vampire Academy
in 2014 - perfect preparation for this production which depicts “a seductive, violent world where Shakespeare’s raw talent faced rioting audiences, religious fanatics and raucous side shows - a hot, contemporary, dangerous version of Shakespeare’s life, played to a modern soundtrack, exposing the young Bard’s recklessness, lustful temptations and brilliance.” Full of sound and fury then - and a fitting tribute to the bard perchance!
Post filming in Lacock The production team chose Lacock as the backdrop for a period street market, peopled with extras from the area, several camels and an indigenous North American Indian in a cage! A stage was also set for bloody executions. However, Lacock residents have played host to many a film and TV series from Pride and Prejudice and Cranford to Harry Potter and The Wolfman and are well used to such goings on.
Shakespeare 400 Well-known local drama group Shakespeare Live are commemorating the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death with a day of free performances, rain or shine, in Corsham and Lacock on 23rd April. There will be a half hour programme called 'Shakespeare Shorts' made up of well-known scenes and extracts, with a team of experienced actors in full costume. The shows are at 10.30, 11.15 and 12.00 in Corsham High Street, and at 2.00, 2.45, and 3.30 in the Lacock School playground. More details on www.shakespearelive.com 14

‘Tails’ from the Bath Cats and Dogs Home Poppy is one of our animals looking for a home this spring. She is 12 years old and looking for a quiet home with experienced and understanding owners. She is very timid and has been happy in our feral cat colony but, now she is getting a little older, we think she has mellowed enough to find a home of her own. If you can offer Poppy a home please visit www.bcdh.org or come and visit us up at Claverton Down. In other news…would you like to meet other dog lovers from the Bradford on Avon area, while enjoying a spectacular walk and raising funds for the Bath Cats and Dogs Home? The home’s annual “Wag Walk” is on Sunday 22 May and is a great opportunity to connect with other dog lovers from the area. The circular walk goes from the Bath Cats and Dogs Home along the National Trust Bath Skyline - with tea and cake at the end! The Home asks that each group raises £75 in sponsorship – which will be used to care for unwanted pets. You can walk with your own dog or without - everyone's welcome! Often the centrepiece that sets off spectacular flowering borders, and links patio to pond and sundeck to shrubbery, the lawn is frequently the least cared-for feature in the garden.
The next application occurs in early summer when GreenThumb’s tailor-made Nutragreen® ‘no-scorch technology’ dry granular fertiliser is applied. The lawn is again treated for weeds.
ow is the ideal time to give your lawn an overhaul to ensure it returns to the peak of health over the coming spring and summer months.
“Weeds are the bane of many lawns, and spring-time onwards is a good time to tackle them,” agrees Graham Smith, owner of local lawn treatment company GreenThumb. “Spraying the lawn with a selective herbicide can rid it of dandelions, daisies and clover, as well as other weeds.” In business for 15 years, GreenThumb is the area’s largest and most recommended lawn care specialist with over 3000 customers using the regular four treatments per year service. GreenThumb uses its own unique feed systems, along with professional herbicides, which are simply not available in DIY or garden centres. The springtime application involves the spreading of a mini18
In late summer, the lawn is treated with a third application, involving a powerful, slow release mini-granular feed - depending on the prevailing climate. Persistent and more difficult lawn weeds such as lesser trefoil, speedwells and woodrush are given individual attention with a special herbicide. The fourth treatment is applied between September and February concentrating on maintaining that healthy colour, with an emphasis on moss control. GreenThumb treatments cost from just £15 per application, and the householder does not have to be in when the treatments take place. The service is pay-as-yougo and there are no customer contracts to sign. www.alocallife.co.uk
“Just a short note to say thanks so much for the treatment to the lawn this year. It has made a huge difference and it looks amazing!” Mr Crowfoot - Warleigh
“I have lived at my address for 45 years and since using the services of GreenThumb I can honestly say that my lawn is the best it has ever looked. Visitors now comment on how good it looks. Thanks!” Mr Lock
“I have now had 3 lawn treatments from you. I have to say the difference in my lawn is absolutely staggering! It has gone from a browny-greeny mess of weeds and moss to a lush lawn. Really impressed and wanted to say thanks.” Mr R Chatfield – Bath
“We have been pleased with the service and have encouraged our neighbours to employ GreenThumb as they have been impressed with the results of the treatment.” Mr G Williams - BoA
GARDENING FEATURE
Five tips for your Lawn 1. Clean up. Rake away those dead leaves, twigs and branches. The less debris on the lawn, the healthier it’ll be, not to mention the real benefit from increasing its exposure to sunlight. 2. Lawns don’t like shade. Take a good look at those border plants, shrubs and trees – they all have a habit of encroaching on the lawn’s space and weakening it by denying it light. Then … get the secateurs out! 3. Check your mower is up to the job - make sure the blade is sharp. Remember to raise the height of your first cut to just ‘top’ the grass – cutting it too low will put the grass into stress.
Before 4. The ground starts to warm now so it’s a good time to repair those bare patches that always appear over winter. Carefully rake the patch to create a bed, sow the seeds with a little top-soil and don’t let them dry out. They’ll germinate in a few days. 5. Look out for sickly-looking patches. Leatherjackets, the larval form of the ‘Daddy Longlegs’ can devastate a lawn in spring as they chomp through the roots of the grass. If you suspect a problem, call GreenThumb!

HOUSE & HOME
How to create a timeless kitchen
I
nvesting in a new kitchen can be one of the biggest financial decisions you will make after buying the house itself. Julie Mason at Coppice Guild in Bradford on Avon gives some pointers as to how she achieved this with a stunning new build by architects Batterham Matthews. Let’s face it, whatever cabinets you go for, the building is going to stay standing for far longer, which is why it is so important that the furniture should ‘talk’ to the architecture so that you don’t tire of it. Just like a good human relationship there should be compatibility and ease, whilst allowing room for both to shine. Flaunt your assets! In this house the fabulous oak frame was always going to win hands down. The client dabbled with the idea of going sleek and handless (to match the exterior) but felt more comfortable with the idea of following a bit more tradition to tie in with the craftsmanship of the oak yet still
22
maintain a contemporary edge. It was agreed that the oak frame should be totally unhindered by the cabinets – calling for an unfitted look. The strip of low level wall units mimics the long strip of windows up high to the left as well as the long wall of windows accessing the garden. Colour (or the lack of it) played an important role in making the cabinetry recede at one end of the very large open plan space. Marble was chosen for the far end worktop giving a light and airy feel when working at the sink, yet dark granite was used on the island where durability was vital and cleverly hides the glass of the induction hob. Natural materials were important to the build. The symmetrical block of tall appliances continues the theme of simplicity and order.
“ the furniture
should ‘talk’ to the architecture so that you don’t tire of it.
”
www.alocallife.co.uk
Last but not least the accessories - lighting and stools were kept minimalistic and transparent so as not to create any distraction away from the oak frame. By investing in bespoke framed cabinets there is no reason why this kitchen should not keep on functioning and looking great for decades to come. No doubt fashions will come and go but with an eye for accessorising there is no reason why this backdrop of cabinetry shouldn’t keep up with the times. If you would like to talk to Julie about investing in your home with a considered approach, call her on 01225 862268 to arrange a no obligation consultation. coppiceguild.co.uk batterhammatthewsarchitects.co.uk

Checking in with a 13 year old neighbour who follows Zoella, has bought her products, read the books and follows her tips - particularly on anxiety - she told me: “Zoella gives amazing advice and her videos are always really well edited and clever. I also enjoy reading her blog posts about different recipes to try etc. She connects really well with her huge audience and is definitely someone to look up to.” If you’re a parent or grandparent who hasn’t watched Zoella share her life yet, you might find it an education. I’ve already adopted her technique of applying concealer after foundation and am working at shifting my perceptions to “ditch anxiety”. We may not look as good as her, have as much zest for life, or such an entrepreneurial gift, but we can certainly feel relaxed about her brand of influence on the younger generation. As

BRIDE TO BE None. I have organised Simon’s stag night myself, which is exactly as it should be. Men aren’t organised or thoughtful enough. I can’t give too much away, but let’s just say I’ve hired Mary Berry to give private cup cake making lessons for a start! And speaking of the best man, what is the vetting process, and how does one choose?
“Bridezilla” An Interview with Georgina (Anna Morris), Bride-to-be Congratulations on your engagement. To prospective brides-to-be, how far in advance should they start the planning process? Thank you so much! You should really have started planning as a child. I started planning my wedding at the age of 5. I kept a scrap-book of ideas. I’d accumulated over 200 scrapbooks by the time I met Simon. If it’s too late for you to do that, then quit your job as SOON as you get engaged, hire an office space and 50 staff to speed up the process. And how important are Prenup agreements? Oh they are essential of course. I had one drawn up 5 years before I met Simon, just in case. I also had contracts drawn up for all of the Bridesmaids, Ushers and the Best Man. For example Bridesmaids are on a pregnancy ban and everyone playing a role must audition. On the stag night, how much say should the stag and/or best man have in what takes place? 28
Absolutely. I sacked Simon’s first Best Man, his best friend Bertie, because he joked about hiring a stripper. I’m currently auditioning but I’m still hoping for Russell Watson or Phillip Schofield. In todays climate, what is a good ballpark figure for the budget of the “main event”? Oh gosh well anything less than £500,000 could be a disaster! I suppose most generic Brides can only afford about £100,000 or so? That’s so sad. And it’s why I started my charity, Bride Aid. Aside from keeping the guests waiting, what other ways are there to build up the tension? Special effects – tense music, a smoke machine, the roof of the church slowly opening to reveal a helicopter overhead…I descend slowly and unexpectedly, lowered down while James Blunt sings You’re Beautiful. That’s just an example of one of the options. The guest list - how would you tackle people with radical dietary requirements and/or misbehaving children? Children are banned from the wedding. They are too selfish. Anyone who requests a silly diet will have their invitation retracted immediately.
Does the dress matter more or less than the guests? And how do you make sure that the photographers capture it correctly? Yes of course it matters more, what a silly question! If spending £20,000 on a Vera Wang means you can’t afford for your in-laws to come, that’s fine. It’s all about YOU! The Photography team will have 40 rehearsals first and there will also be a separate photoshoot the day before. Just with me. Simon doesn’t photograph well. He has a very weak chin. At the reception, where should the Groom’s family sit? On their own table of course. Simon and I will sit together alone. As it should be. And finally, hypothetically speaking, what would happen if, on the day, the wedding rings were missing? We have 3 back-up rings just in case. I really have thought of EVERYTHING. It’s GOT to be perfect. And it will be! Anna Morris - It's Got To Be Perfect, Widcombe Social Club, Bath 6.30pm on Friday 8th April. Tickets cost £8 and are available from Brown Paper Tickets on 0800 411 8881 or www.brownpapertickets.com Various dates including Bedford 23rd April and Edinburgh. Saving your Wardrobe - A Seamstress for all Seasons
A
lexandra was born and bred in Athens, Greece where she developed an early interest in fashion and pursued a career in the industry as soon as she completed her basic education. Determined to gain experience in all aspects of the business, she began working even before she had finished her college courses. 25 years on, she’s still fascinated by the fact that sewing is something no one can say they know in its entirety. Once she fully understood that clothes change the way people perceive each other, as well as themselves, she made it her primary goal to help people express their inner selves and celebrate their individuality. She considers putting a smile on her customers’ faces her greatest achievement. You may simply need a small repair to an old favourite you can’t find it in your heart to throw out; or a simple alteration to breathe new life into a treasured piece; but sometimes, for that special (or not so special) occasion, you long for something absolutely new and made from scratch. Alexandra pays the closest attention to her clients wants, and although she may sometimes make suggestions, she always respects her customers’ ideas and uses all her skill to fulfil their brief. Circumstances have led her to make her home in Bradford on Avon and she’s thrilled to have the opportunity of offering her skills to its people, whom she finds to be absolutely amazing and whom she already loves.

LEGAL FEATURE
Divorce - to DIY or not to DIY? Sarah Jackson, Head of Family Law at BLB Solicitors in Bradford on Avon, considers the potential pitfalls of a DIY divorce.
I
f you have decided to divorce, the first question might be, “Do I need a solicitor?” With the cuts to legal aid and a proliferation of on-line services, the DIY divorce is on the rise. Many divorcing couples choose to end their marriage contract themselves. It is a purely administrative process that results in a piece of paper—the Decree Absolute—which confirms that you are no longer married. However, it takes time and can be confusing, and the courts readily reject incorrectly completed forms, meaning you must start all over again. A solicitor can ease you through the process more swiftly. Nevertheless, arranging the end of the marriage is really only one small part of divorce proceedings. A Decree Absolute does not bring an automatic end to any financial obligations you have to one
another. Unless the split of your assets is set out in a court order, you will not have a clean break from your spouse. That means he or she can claim money or property from you far into the future—and potentially from the bequests to children after your death. This is when a quick and cheap DIY divorce can become a longrunning costly disaster. Without a court order you have no financial security, but just as importantly, any settlement agreed must be the right one. Once an order is in place you don’t get the option to reconsider. A solicitor is professionally regulated and insured—unlike the on-line resources available. You are not just paying for valuable expertise but also for peace of mind. In addition, instructing a

RECIPE
Serves 2
Baked aubergine with spiced lamb, mint & pomegranate
Aubergines are great vessels for stuffing. We’ve given the lamb a Middle Eastern style spicing and have served it sprinkled with almonds, mint and pomegranate, though you can leave out the pomegranate if you can’t find any. Good with couscous, a leafy side salad or wilted spinach. Heat the oven to 220˚C/Gas 7. Cut the aubergine in half lengthways. Score the flesh in a criss-cross pattern. Drizzle liberally with oil and season with salt and pepper. Place skin-side up in a baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes or until the flesh is soft and tender right the way through. Meanwhile, put the almonds in a dry frying pan. Heat gently, stirring, until golden. Remove to a plate and keep to one side. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan. Add the onion and fry on a low heat, stirring, for 10 minutes. Add the lamb and fry, stirring, on a medium heat to brown. Add the garlic, cumin coriander, dried mint, smoked paprika and chilli flakes and stir for 2 minutes. Add the chopped tomatoes. Season and simmer for 30 minutes, adding a splash of water if needed to stop the meat drying out. Cut the pomegranate
in half crossways. Take a rolling pin or the handle of a wooden spoon. Hold the pomegranate cut-side down in your hand over a bowl and bash the skin; the seeds will fall out (most of them anyway). Pick out any pith that does fall in; there shouldn’t be much with this technique, but it tastes bitter, so remove any you find. Once the aubergine flesh is tender, remove it from the oven. Carefully scoop out as much of the flesh as you can, keeping the aubergine skins intact. Add the flesh to the lamb. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes. Check the seasoning. Spoon the lamb mixture into the aubergine skins. Sprinkle over the almonds, pomegranate seeds and mint to serve.

Broad bean fritters Tip * Use a gluten-free self-raising flour if you prefer. * Use chopped up French or sliced runner beans instead of broad beans. * Vary the cheese – try a saltier feta-style sheep’s cheese.

These simple fritters make a good vegetarian main course but you could also serve smaller ones as starters or canapés for a summer party (they can be made in advance and gently warmed through in a low oven). Kids generally love them, particularly the dinkysized ones.
METHOD
INGREDIENTS
Cook the beans in a pan of boiling water for 3 minutes, then drain and refresh in cold water. Peel off the outer skins and discard, leaving the bright green inner bean. In a large bowl, whisk the flour, eggs, crème fraîche and milk until you have a smooth, thick batter. Crumble in the cheese. Stir in the broad beans, mint and chives and season with salt and pepper. Melt a little oil and butter in a large frying pan. Add spoonfuls of the mixture (you’ll need to cook in two or three batches) and cook on a medium heat for 2–3 minutes, until golden brown on the bottom (you’ll see small bubbles appearing from underneath as they’re ready). Flip and cook for 2 minutes or so on the other side, until cooked through. Serve with sweet chilli sauce for dipping, if you like.

Monkton appoints new Head of Pre-Prep
M
onkton Combe School is delighted to announce the appointment of Catherine Winchcombe as Head of Pre-Prep. Catherine will take up her post in September ready for when the School’s new £4.4 million Pre-Prep development opens in the Autumn. The new building will accommodate a growing demand for Nursery and Pre-Prep places whilst enabling the School to maintain small class sizes alongside a state-of-the-art media centre, food technology facilities, inspiring play and woodland areas, an upgraded swimming pool, sports facilities and extensive parking. Catherine comes to Monkton from an international school in Jordan, and with impressive experience. A music specialist, she worked at Esher Church School for 18 years during which time she held several roles including Deputy Head, with responsibility for pastoral care and SEN and was head of the Early Years provision. Catherine was also Chair of Governors for a pre-school and has recently gained her Masters in Educational Leadership and Management. Andrew Marshall-Taylor, Headmaster of the Prep School, comments, “This is an exciting time to join Monkton. Catherine’s experience and energy will be a huge asset in settling into the new building and heading up the Pre-Prep team as we consolidate our place as a leading provider of education in Bath.”
Reducing, reusing and recycling our rubbish
W
e can reduce our waste by using and buying less ‘stuff’, you can: •• Use durable items instead of disposable or one-use products. •• Buy refills or refill packs where available and buy in bulk, e.g. one big bottle of squash rather than lots of little bottles of juice. •• Borrow, don’t buy. About half of the rubbish we send to landfill could be reused, recycled or composted. If you do buy something, reuse it and try to get as much life out of it as possible before recycling it. •• Pass things on via Freegle/ Freecycle or online auctions. 48
•• Find a different use for something, e.g. glass jars can be reused for storage and plastic take-away boxes can be used for sandwiches. •• Repair clothes and shoes with missing buttons or holes. Recycle items into something new. Recycling saves energy and resources that would be used to create new products. •• Buy goods with packaging that can be recycled and avoid materials like polystyrene that www.alocallife.co.uk
aren’t accepted for recycling. •• Buy recycled products, for example recycled paper. You can make a difference to the amount of rubbish we produce! Climate Friendly Bradford on Avon would like to have an active Zero Waste Group again – if you are passionate about reducing rubbish and would like to help the local community send less to landfill, please contact climatechampions@gmail.com or 07507 782523
BUSINESS
Do you want to be a celebrated countryside business?
Help Wiltshire be a winner at the Rural Business Awards!
W
iltshire rural businesses are being urged to get their entries in for a nationwide awards scheme specifically for firms based in the countryside. “The awards are about showcasing the very best in rural enterprise,” explains joint founder Jemma Clifford. “Countryside companies are all too often overlooked in other award schemes in favour of large city-based firms.” Nonetheless, rural businesses contribute £229 billion in gross value added to the national economy. It was a shame that Wiltshire wasn’t home to any winners last year, but nearby counties did offer up some excellent examples

S
hakespeare died on April 26 400 years ago and The Theatre Royal Bath is celebrating with a variety of productions including King Lear and A Midsummer Night’s Dream this summer. Their April offering is The Herbal Bed by award winning playwright Peter Whelan which is a dramatization of the scandal that surrounded Shakespeare’s daughter after she was publicly accused of adultery. Not much has changed then… Channel 4 TV’s reality show All Hail the Veil features starry eyed brides in search of a perfect dress. Bradford on Avon bridal experts Carina Baverstock and Lucy Hayward competed with two other boutiques to satisfy three very different brides. “There’s definitely a lot of psychology involved…” observed Carina wisely as she dealt with the brides, opinionated mothers, friendly bridesmaids and a shy fiancé. Fun, frothy and local, it aired in January but is available on catch up. Sensitivity to gluten is a mounting problem these days and brides are not exempt. Master baker Ali
Walsh was diagnosed as a coeliac twenty years ago when freefrom foods were not even invented and plugged the gap in the market. As well as providing heavenly gluten-free, wheat-free, eggfree, dairy-free and vegan cakes and cupcakes for weddings and every other type of celebration, she blogs, broadcasts and also gives courses. thelocalbakehouse.com Freefrom products are generally more available these days: Neston Park Farm Shop has divine chocolate brownies; the Glove Factory offers an assortment of cakes; free from bread and pizza bases are on the shelves at Christine’s and The Bath Bakery in BOA; The Grumpy Badger has tempting frittatas; and Trufflecious chocolates and desserts can be found at the Thurday BOA Market and the Sunday afternoon Gt Chalfield Mini Artisan Market. Alex Joll has also added gluten free to his menu of Eat Square Pies and his new chef has taken his pies from ordinary to extraordinary. The regular steak & ale; pork & cider; chicken & mushroom; plus gluten free chicken and leek; and gluten free, dairy free, vegan: sweet potato, or roasted veg pies are truly scrumptious! At markets, Budgen BOA, or online eatsquare.co.uk Clever 19-year-old Nicola Davis from Corsham used crowdfunding to publish ‘My Super Sweet Recovery Cookbook’ for sufferers of anorexia. Following her own experience of the problem, she has altered ingredients & quantities to make non-threatening, simple meals No48 April/May 2016
to ease people back to normal eating. 10% of profits to Beat, the eating disorder charity. nicoladaviscrafts.co.uk Free from is a phrase that also applies to the streets of Bradford on Avon. A huge vote of thanks to Matt who keeps the streets of Bradford on Avon free of litter on a daily basis, and to his colleague Josh who manages the outskirts. Why do people drop litter, chuck stuff from car windows, and deposit unwanted household products in the countryside? Meanwhile, anyone ‘caught short’ on the streets of BOA need not fear. While Wiltshire Council has cut all funding for Public Toilets, the Bradford on Avon Town Council has agreed to pick up the tab. St Margaret’s car park; the Station car park and the Tithe Barn Cricket Pavilion loos will continue to be maintained free of charge to all comers. Michelle Donelan MP also has the streets of BOA on her mind and is asking for “your thoughts on what should be done to improve the congestion, pollution and pedestrian safety in Bradford on Avon,” with a BOA traffic survey. It’s been sent to all those on the BOA electoral roll, but anyone interested in improving the traffic conditions can make their voice heard: michelledonelan.co.uk/boa
