CSILLAG FAÉK -SZER

When I choose the pieces of wood, I already see the shape of the jewelry that it will become. Circular and oval shapes are the natural forms of wood, so I have to find the ideal steel accessories, frames and pendants with necklaces that fit these forms.

natural

To leave a small ecological footprint, I pick my pieces from the ground in a garden or in a forest or near firewood piles. It's a simple, but big idea to keep the production green.

recycling

Every step of the production is hand-made by me, from collecting the pieces to shaping and waxing them to their final appearance.

handmade

I love using the opportunities offered by nature. I collect damaged, dry branches of trees to create my jewelry. Instead of trying to reach an artificial perfection, I prefer to embrace the natural flaws of the wood including bumps and discolorations. I believe it is the beauty of imperfection. With the least modifications, the focus is always on quality.

with love

I love using the opportunities nature offers us. I collect demaged, dry branches of trees to create my jewellery. Instead of approaching perfection I prefer showing the beauty of nature and trees including their 'flaws', and changing them the least but focusing on quality.
