LTD TECHNOLOGY SUPER LIGHT THAT LASTS Ltd is the most prestigious technology we have developed and refined over the years. This type of construction is based on the best materials arranged together in order to create the best cocktail of performance, strength and lightness. This year, in order to pursue continuous development, we were able to introduce an innovative type of carbon and stitching method which takes our boards another step forward. The NEW BIAXIAL CARBON WITH HEXAGONAL STITCHED FIBERS is based on a new technology which has been recently introduced to the market, called C-PLY. C-PLY is a carbon thin & stitched plies reinforcement technology which allows precise tailoring of the fiber angles along the load directions. This innovative material which is placed on the top of our construction optimizes the dynamic behavior and feel whilst further lightening the board. It adds a tougher laminate to protect against impact dents and delays micro cracking fatigue. The Biaxial Carbon with hexagonal stitched fibers further improves in terms of lightweight, toughness, dynamic control and feeling compared to standard Biaxial Carbon fibers thanks to a better fiber spreading and thin plies of carbon stitched together. The C-PLY technology is available on the Wave Cults LTD V7 and TwinTip LTD V6.

WOOD TECHNOLOGY BUILT TOUGH, FEEL LIGHT Our ultimate Wood tecnology has been further improved and we were able to apply a much better construction compared to common Wood tecnologies which typically have focused solely on strength and impact resistance. This type of construction has been applied to our Wave Cult V7 as well as to the Freestyle Wave V4. The new performance construction is able to combine strength and durability with lightweight by adding specific reinforcements and perfectly combining them underneath the Wood laminate. We have basically obtained a full sandwich board by adding PVC under the heel area togheter with unidirectional and biaxal fibers on the deck and on the bottom of the board. Those layers are combined together and placed very efficiently to reinforce the most stressed parts and leaving a lighter weight in less stressed areas. The bottom of the board is the most complicated as it is subject to the strongest impacts, specially with wave boards. That’s why we have worked a lot on a construction which is able to prevent bottom cracks. To improve resistance we have added 2 T-stringer engraved with glass in the EPS and, on top of them, we have placed a high density EPS. The HD EPS is only 5mm thick and is similar to PVC but lighter as its weight is only 48kg/m3. This special foam is the main support of the Wood veneer which is placed on top. Those layers are sofisticated and when combined together create a very solid structure and, at the same time, minimizing the weight of the board. The Wood outside fully covers those layers like a shell and adds resistance to the board as it is one of the most strongest unidirectional fibers existing in nature. The Wood is still one of the strongest material in the market for building boards.

HARDCORE WAVE V6 LTD
The Hardcore Wave LTD V6 are the most versatile Hardcore wave boards ever build since their introduction in our collection. 4 Shapes with 10lt of difference from 98 all the way down to 68 all equipped with 5 slot finboxes to be able to switch from a Thruster to a Quad set up depending on your style and desired grip on the wave. In order to improve the versatility of use we have chosen a Thruster fin setup coming standard. We have also focused on getting these well proven shapes lighter to improve their performance level in every detail. The Hardcore Wave V6 is the favourite board of Vice World Champion Alex Mussolini, who rode this board in various type of conditions from the Canary Islands, North Sea and Maui and has always delivered his best performance. The Hardcore Wave V6 has superb float and ride and turning capabilities especially if equipped with the Quad setup while it improves in early planing and jumps with the Thruster set up.

The new WAVE CULT V7 is the board that everyone should have, which suits all kind of conditions and allows you to feel covered in any session in both home spot and travel outings. We focused more and more on this goal to provide a tool that can perform the best in both on-shore and side-shore conditions in every wave size. We have worked on details and introduced dedicated and important innovations to the outline and definitely having an eye-catching shape. Compared to the previous V6, we decided to add 2 boards to the line (the 68lts and 114lts) to meet everyone’s needs. The new WAVE CULT V7 have been further shortened concentrating more volume in the central part and combined with a reduced kick; the outline comes out with a completely re-thought pintail with winger and soft diamond nose. Available with new fins and with 5 slotboxes for both thruster and quad set ups, with exception of the 104 lts and 114 lts which are only for a thruster fin use. All this gives to the WAVE CULTS V7 superb planing capabilities and ease in all transitions but, at the same time very powerful turns to perfectly meet even side and offshore conditions such as those in Cape Town and Ho’okipa. K4 FINS FOR RRD Thanks to the collaboration with K4, we were able to fit our new Wave Cults V7 with the latest developed K4 high performance fins. K4 fins are unique to windsurfing as they are made using a high grade composite engineering polymer with a maximum fill of long strand fibres. The material performs exceptionally in terms of flex, reflex and resilience to damage. Compared to standard G-10 fins these fins are lighter and have a superior reflex memory. The injection moulding process combined with CNC machined tooling ensures that the shapes are accurate and exact replication is possible. K4 are made entirely in the UK and is a new trend that is rapidly developing in the windsurf market. By using the latest materials and mould process, K4 fins are capable to match the performance needed using a super stiff material which guarantees the perfect flex patterns.

FREESTYLE WAVE V4 LTD/WOOD The Freestyle Wave V4 range are without any doubts among the most wanted boards of the collection. The version 4 has a COTAN touch on the nose and a more compact shape compared to the previous version. This feature combined with the refined and thinner rails on the tail and the new thruster fins set-up make these shapes much more free, alive and responsive to rider’s input no matter if ripping on waves, boosting a jibe or pulling out some trick. The “Power Box” fin system in combination with the 2 side slot box fins, allows finding the perfect trim of the board depending the conditions or the rider’s style: Single Fin for freeride or freestyle oriented session, Tri-Fins looking for more grip or waves to ride! The Rocker is the same as the previous version. Kicked in the last 40 cms from the nose, straight and fast in the mid/rear section. The Volume displacement has still less volume on the tail and more volume on the nose, to keep the same amazingly well balanced board which ensures its special accurate trim on the water both in planing and non-planing conditions. The simple slight double concave/ V rail to rail configuration of the hull allows a perfect flow and balance over the roughest waters in any conditions.

Our freestyle board line continues its path, every year we add new details to perfect it and make it more competitive. Our goal is creating a product that is simple to use, but at the same time, allows the riders to go beyond their level and perform the most possible radical moves. The new TwinTip LTD V6, compared to the previous version, is more compact, the position of the straps and of the mast box have been moved forward to improve the centered balance. The result is a much more agile board in all transitions and easier in doubles and triple moves. The TWINTIP V6 is a pure performance board range to support serious freestyle riders!

The new TwinTip v6 is a full sandwich board with PVC on both the deck and bottom and with biaxal glass reinforcements underneath the most stressed parts to guarantee the proper strenght and durability. This year we have introduced the new Biaxal Carbon with Hexagonal stitching fibers on the deck of the board which is an innovative type of carbon and stiching method to further improve in terms of lightweight, toughness, dynamic control and feeling compared to standard Biaxal Carbon fibers. The glass bottom is specifically designed with glass reinforcements to prevent from cracks and resist to strong impacts.

DUO DENSITY EVA FOOTPAD FOR EXTENDED DURABILITY AND MAXIMUM GRIP Our new “Duo Density� Eva footpad is the latest added value to our most specialized board ranges. It is based on a new concept of thicker EVA pads with 2x layers of different density to allow maximum comfort, perfect grip and durability. We have glued together a higher density EVA foam on the top and a softer EVA foam on the bottom. The higher density top layer helps to keep a fast and reactive feeling with the board. Moreover, whenever pressure is applied, its rigidity transmits and properly spread the load all over the softer layer underneath. Therefore the 2 layers combined assure the highest impact resistance without any compromise in terms of performance helping to prevent board cracks and softspots. On the surface of the pad we have placed a diamond groove which is a specific sharp and wide type of texture for maximum comfort and resistance and, on top of that, we have moulded a thousand dots texture which enhances the lifetime of the pads. Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) is the copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate and is one of the materials popularly known as expanded rubber or foam rubber typically used as a shock absorber. Depending on the construction of the board and use we were able to adapt it using different thickness (8 to 13 mm) in order to guarantee the best compromise of performance and durability.

FIREMOVE V3 LTD/WOOD/E-TECH The Firemove V3 family has gone one step up in every category of use: • Early planing: the wider nose shape with a “COTAN” design ( cut off tail and nose) has allowed a more concentrated volume distribution on the nose without the need to thicken up or lengthen the board. More volume on the nose area greatly enhances planing capabilities • Jiibing: the new outline “kink” in correspondance of the one foot off tail area, allows the lines of the board to become more parallel and create better jibing potential, especially at high speed • Top Speed: this tail area reduction created by the new tail outline has also created a better top end speed potential, especially when riding on choppy water All in all we have kept the same “easy & accessible “ feel of this magic board program, boosting the performance level on every new shape at the top we have re-designed from scratch. It can provide some entertainment also in the air when it gets choppier. Thanks to its multiple straps set up you can customize it to the desired type of use: Outboard straps set up is for those wanting to blast and gybe with the right gust allowing a full planing exit. It’s a good one for cruising around with friends or keeping the hammer down. When the straps are mounted inboard it allows for more advanced and tecnical moves as well as old school carving manoeuvres or for popping some air time. Accessibility and performance, a board that gives precise feel and control to everyone from the very first moments and allows you to step up in level with ease and fun. The more pronounced length than the FireMove and the reduced width make the new Fireride a board inspired by a more “classic” freeride concept revisited and modernized. In fact, its volume distribution, much more homogeneous than the classic freeride shapes of the past, is micro tuned thanks to the CAD design of the shape which allows you to make full use of its floating and stability capabilities even with light winds or larger sails. The very full rails from tail to nose, allow the board to plane instantly even with little wind and also use larger fins to stay upwind better, assuring the board never becomes physical or hard to control. Also thanks to the use of the foil box, the FireRide is the perfect board to start experiencing the fun of Hydrofoiling without having to have a dedicated board just for this. Originally designed and trimmed to combine early planing, speed, control and easy jibing, the new Firestorm V4 line has been completely re-considered not only in terms of shape and details, but mainly for its program of use. During the last 48 months since the first introduction of the Firestorm V1 Line, we have consistently kept on shaping new prototypes trying to improve the magic mix of the existing boards. But we could only improve one or two parameters, better upwind or better jibing while keeping the same top speed, but then either early planing or manouverability was being sacrificed. 48 months of development, over 25 prototype boards and over 300 hours of testing time in the water have not managed to improve the magic mix of the V1 and V2 Firestorm shapes. Then we have started to re-consider the program of use and we have understood that when you choose a new board around the program of “fast freeriding” the most important parameter is SPEED. So the whole concept of creating a 30% faster board whilst keeping early planing and control have given life to a completely new line of Firestorm boards: the VERSION 4.
FEATURES:
• Based on the outline and scooprocker line of the PWA world champion’s X- Fire V7 boards, the FIRESTORM V4 have taken this shape base and been modified as follows by comparing with the X-Fire boards • The Outline is slightly narrower in the tail area and has smaller tail cutouts so as to reduce the tail lift when overpowered while keeping the same planing capacity, more suited for freeriding than for pure racing • The Toro tail is being reduced in terms of extra width over the hull’s wetted surface and has been moved slightly further back, to allow more pressure with your back foot onto the fin without too much effort. This results in better upwind performance and better average speed in long runs • The Rocker line, hull shape and volume distribution instead have been kept absolutely the same as the X-Fire V7 boards. Same soul as the world champions • The footstraps inserts have kept the possibility to use a more inboard position for choppy water or more “freeride use” and a more outboard position for flat water or “top speed” setting • The result of all these features has allowed us to create 3 brand new boards that will help improve your speed on the water and give you immense joy to stay ahead of the others Remember, before buying any new boards, to test it in one of our test centers around the world. Here is our new racing machine, the X-FIRE V10. The big step forward was made by the V9 version, which has quickly proved his character in any kind of condition. It has been hard to do better. Our R&D team made up of Arnon Dagan, Andrea Rosati and Enrico Marotti spent hours and hours working on it and trying to improve it further. The best solution has been to work on details by adding only minor changes. The new X-FIRE V10 is faster in light and gusty wind, easier to get planing and with an increased amount of control. Antoine Albeau was looking for a rocket to win the title again and we did our best, the X-Fire V10 is the most innovative and fastest tool to pursue victory at any level.

RECOMMENDED SAIL
•The 129 lts and 122 lts, compared to last year’s V9 model, have a new volume distribution with a thicker area under the mast track which helps to support big sails and get planing earlier in light wind. The V10 model has also been re-shaped on the rails and has a thinner nose to improve its fluency and capabilities during jibes and in all kind of transitions. In general both of this boards are even easier to ride then the V9’s The 129 has also a new outline to allow maximum comfort on the back foot and helps generating power when needed •The 114 lts and 108 lts have new cut outs to provide the fastest possible water release out from the back of the board. This improves the average speed and helps to get out of the jibe faster. The new cut outs make this boards extra stable and much better to control in strong wind for having the best performance •The 98 lts has been re-shaped on the tail with a deeper cut along the side of the board until 30cm and a different angle of the cut out to improve its top speed and acceleration with 7.0 sails size and to increase the amount of control •90 lts: we basically made a scale down of the 98 lts using the same scoopline and adapting the nose rocker to the slightly different lenght and width. The tail cut out also has the same shape as the 98 lts but slightly different on size accordingly to the relative narrow tail. We have worked a lot on the V on the bottom to give to the board an excellent flow and an incredible easyness during jibes. The boxy rails on the front footstraps will allow you to use this high wind machine even underpowered and with a 7.0 sail size while towards the nose the volume will decrease quite a lot allowing the board to have a free light feel when riding it into the rolling swell. The 90 lts is a brand new board that will follow the great success of its predecessor (98 lts) •The new X-FIRE V10 108 lts, 114 lts, 122 lts and 129 lts come with the FOIL BOX which will allow you to multiply your sessions using it at the maximum with both standard fin and hydrofoil and always getting the most out of each time spent on the water.

BEHIND THE SCENES RRD is one of the only “in house� factories in the windsurfing world. This means that a very special attention and quality is being put into the designing & building of all the boards ranges and especially the X-Fire prototypes race boards. All the prototypes are built in the RRD factory in Grosseto (Italy) rather than most other companies which are building prototypes externally, mainly directly by the manufacturer. This is very important as every single member of the R&D team, starting from the shaper, the board builders, the racing team and of course Roberto Ricci himself, are looking at every detail of the boards: the outlines, the top and bottom shape, the rocker lines, V, concaves, rails and cut outs. Every year the R&D team sits together to discuss and create a direction and plan for the new board development. It starts with a wide range of different concepts, ideas and prototypes which are tested by the team all over the world. Later on, the best concept is selected and more boards are built with a clear target to produce winning machines. Our target is to have a World Champion board! The new X-fires V10 has been tested in various locations such as Tuscany in Italy, Lake Garda, the island of Tenerife, Croatia, Maui and Israel. Every location has different conditions. Flat water, chop, stable and gusty as well as strong or light wind. This type of testing program allows us to design boards which have a very complete performance with maximum speed and comfort. The boards must go ballistically fast! They must be controllable and comfortable, amazing in jibes and plane extremely early. WINDFOIL BOARDS PROGRAM We firmly believe in the development of foilwindsurfing at all levels, that’s why we have developed a specific program to allow everyone to have access to foilwindsurfing without having to buy a dedicated board. You can finally go in the water with 7/8 knots and make the most of all light wind days in locations with marginal conditions. We have developed a new foil approved fin box (the RRD FOIL BOX) which is available on our foil, slalom and freeride boards in collection: the H-Fire 91, the X-Fire Ltd V10, the Firestorm LTD and Wood V4 and the new Fireride LTD and Wood. Each one of these boards can be used with the hydrofoil and allow to have a great foiling experience at any level. The FOIL BOX is a specially reinforced deep Tuttle box design for use with a HydroFoil, designed to withstand the strong forces of the hydrofoil, the weight of the board, the rig and the sailor. It is also perfectly usable with a short or deep Tuttle head. The RRD FOIL BOX is bigger both in length and width compared to a standard Long Tuttle Box and has 4 carbon stringers inserts added to reinforce the all structure as much as possible. There is no detectable weight increase as the Foil Box is made with PVC and Carbon which are the lightest materials available. The new FOIL BOX allows you to ride in peace without fear of breakage.

The H-fire 91 is our first windsurf foil board in collection. With this board you can finally go in the water with 7/8 knots and make the most of all light wind days and even in locations with marginal conditions. Specifically designed to be used with sail sizes from 5.0 square meters and up. The board is 236 x 91 cms of width, with a very wide tail area that makes it easy to get up on the foil and to control. The 236 cms length will make your learning process an easy one and will become extra functional once you will try your first jibes. The board is very handy when foiling at high speed and when you need maximum control during touch downs! “This is the board I have learned and improved my windfoiling. It is the board I use every day, when I choose an hydrofoil to ride. It’s really floaty and stable, in fact most of the times I go foiling, the wind is really light on the inside and I uphaul my sail to go out and look for a little breeze to start foiling. It’s amazing how early it planes which is very important when riding foil boards! It must plane in literally 6-7 knots when you activate your rig while pumping! 236 cms lenght, helps to stay on the board when stalling from your foil and avoid catapults or even worse falls.

WH FLIGHT CARBON HYDROFOIL Our first windsurf hydrofoil is a strong, high-tech and uncompromising product. We strongly believe in the future of windfoiling and spent hours and hours on testing and trying different solutions. We came to the conclusion that the best was to propose a product that could give the highest stiffness and lightweight possible. What’s needed to approach this discipline is to have a simple to use, lightweight product to fit. The WH Flight Carbon has his highest performance under light wind conditions; our hydrofoil allows you to enter the water with 8/9 knots and literally fly on it. The days you spent on the beach waiting the wind will be trampled into absolutely active days, unforgettable and physically expensive moments. The learning curve of wind foiling is very fast, so we have thought at a product that could be adapted to beginners, but fully satisfy those who have already practiced and require an high performance level. Our full carbon pre-preg monocoque autoclave technology allows the highest stiffness levels to be achieved, avoiding side twisting of the mast to achieve great speed and maximum control. It’s a perfect freeride foil. You can use it to learn and to go really fast to the next level, where it is loads of fun as a progressive freerider. The WH Flight Carbon gives his best once you are confident on your ride and want to advance in your level trying to keep the hammer down. The carbon mast is a mandatory in windsurf hydrofoiling that gave us a lightweight solution and a thin profile mast of 15 mm which is the perfect compromise to maintain a good performance without exagerating making it too thin and sharp and consequently dangerous in case of clashing in it. We have decided to go for a 4 separable full carbon pieces because it is the safest and more comfortable system; easy to transport and to assemble. The fuselage perfectly fits in the mast and keeps the position without any movement or twist during the flight. Once you are back on the beach you just need to remove the screws, put everything back in the bag and throw it all in the car.

We are particularly proud of this board since it has taken more than one prototype and more than 1000 hours of hard work in designing, moulding, testing and changing everything from zero. We have put together an unbeatable board that will make you enthusiastic about the way it planes, accelerates and reaches incredible top speeds! Specifically recommended for freeriding, this is the real first step towards and new way of windsurfing at full speed planing before a composite freeride board. First of all we have based the whole concept of the Air Windsurf freeride on the exceptional experience we have gathered with our exclusive SDB or Sandwich Dyneema Belt that allows to make inflatable boards that are 30% stiffer than standard inflatable boards. But for the Air Windsurf board we have gone one step further and used 3 x SDB Sandwich Dyneema Belts instead of only one like we use on our SUP boards. 3 x SDB Sandwich Dyneema belts mean 3 x times the stiffness of a conventional Inflatable board, and this is exactly how this board will feel when trying to flex it. It’s almost as stiff as an epoxy board! Once we have achieved a super rigid structure we have started to think of a special way to create an efficient way to make the board get on a plane as quickly as possible, jibe properly and make sure that you could stay upwind and go fast on a reach. For this we have developed 2 x specific exclusive accessories that have been assembled into the board itself: 1) An exclusive ITB or Integrated Tuttle Box system that is moulded and glued inside the board. With this box we have been able to create a box and a fin system that has the same stiffness as a composite board. A stiff box and fin will make this board plane, go upwind and fast as a real freeride composite board. 2) An exclusive SPSP Soft PVC Sharp rail Profile with a hollow chamber that allows to create a perfect water release off the board’s hull and rolls up perfectly and quickly without creating wrinkles on the TUE line. Our year 23 collection is without a doubt the greatest yet. This year we have made huge advances in terms of both technology, performance and of course style.
The growing World cup team has put hours of work into the development of the complete line and the success is shining through. Alex Mussolini used the Vogue Pro to finish Vice World Champion in the waves in 2016. Luka Mratovic currently sits on top of the 2017 IFCA slalom series ranking using the Firewing. Jacopo Testa is leading the 2017 European freestyle tour with the Style Pro and our new addition Tonky Frans has risen again to the top 10 in the World Cup. I personally used the Firewing in the speed World Championships, finishing as Vice-World Champion in 2016, showing that across all disciplines we are at the very top. Our Global test results further back this up, with test winners across the board, from the 3 batten Gamma receiving the “Coup De Coeur” in Planche Mag, to the 7 batten Fire winning “Les Choix de testeur” in Wind Magazine. With the addition of our new “performance construction” we have pushed the limits of weight and durability yet further, looking at every area of the sail to maximise the performance on the water and keep our sails looking and feeling fantastic for years to come. Finally the RRD style shines through more than ever this year, with the use of bolder blocks of colour, customised colour schemes and a sprinkling of Razzle Dazzle, these are without doubt our best looking sails to date. In fact we are so pleased with both the performance and the style of this collection, that these sails (with the exception of our contest lines Style Pro /Vogue/Firewing) will remain unchanged for 2 years, further increasing their long term value. We are sure that whatever is your sail of choice in the RRD line up, your satisfaction will be guaranteed.
WI SURF SAILS TECHNOLOGY
NEW PERFORMANCE CONSTRUCTION
Our new concept is based on a complex mix of materials throughout the sail to give the perfect blend of lightweight, strength and style. By using different materials we were able to decrease the physical weight of the sail, therefore obtaining a lighter feeling on the water and at the same time improve durability. In the top third of the sails we have introduced a 2 mil SCRIM. The scrim is composed of a 500 denier 5 x 4.5 polyester mesh which is laminated inside 2 layers of ultra thin film (1 mil). On top of that is added a 1000D polyester X-ply yarn at 22 degrees with 38mm spacing. The mesh is lighter and with the same stretch compared as a traditional 4 mil film and adds increased ripstop properties. The X-ply yarns provides bias stretch resistance. In general this material has higher stretch characteristics than monofilm which is why we only use it outside of the load lines of the sail, where stretch is not an issue.
TOP PANEL “SCRIM�
The main frame of the sail is made with a 5mil custom made printed X-ply. The custom print is sandwiched between 2 layers of Monofilm, protecting the graphic and keeping the sail looking great for years to come. A specially designed print includes small pin pricks in the graphic to aid the transfer of the glue and produce a solid bond that will last for years. Our own custom X-ply layup gives the sail a flexible feel through the main body, aiding response on the water whilst keeping the sails comfortable at all times. Finally in the foot of the sail we used a solid colour 5mil DIMENSION X-PLY. This gives the maximum resistance in one of the most stressed part of the sail and massively increases the durability of the sail. A 1000 Denier Polyester X-ply with 19mm spacing combined with a 5 mil of film provides a powerful structure to resist to impacts.

IND FING CROSS PANEL CONSTRUCTION
Already in use by RRD for many years, our cross panel construction uses a carefully designed panel layout to reduce stretch and create the ideal structure to support the sail. By following the load lines with both the panel layout and also the warp direction of the X-ply we create a strong and powerful framework to the sail. Thanks to this frame we can use lighter materials outside of these lines to reduce weight without having any effects on the performance. The result is great performance and more importantly great response on the water.

“Last year we made some radical changes to the Gamma. By adjusting the aspect ratio and introducing a Dacron luff panel to the sail, we increased the power but also softened this power, to give the Gamma an incredibly forgiving nature when wave riding. The test results proved we hit exactly the right spot with Planche Mag (France) declaring the 4.5 Gamma, the Coup De Coeur. For the MK4 we added the new power clew, allowing further tuning ability between power and control, for an even bigger range of use. Plus with the new Performance construction, we reduced the weight even further, making this the lightest sail in the range”.

I love how the Vogue stays controllable no matter what and allows me to focus on my moves in the heat of the moment”.
A DESIGN FOR EVERY TYPE OF WAVE SESSION “This year we no longer have the Four in the range. One side of me is sad to see it go, as it was my sail of choice for the last 6 years, but the other side of me is really happy that we have such a great and versatile new Vogue. Over the years the Vogue and the Four were slowly coming closer together as the Four became more and more controllable and the Vogue added power. With the addition of the Power clew to the Vogue we have created a sail that has a massive wind range and can suit any style. In the outer/upper eyelet the sail lifts and drives like the Four did, powering through bottom turns and launching into airs. With the inner clew, the Vogue remains as it has always been, with huge control and a balanced, forward pulling trim. Personally I use the sail mostly in the outer clew, but now find myself in certain situations switching to the higher control of the inner clew. For example in Pozo when the wind kicks in, I drop to the inner clew and remain in control. Whatever you ride and however you ride the Vogue now covers it all�.

EVOLUTION MK10
The Evolution is the ultimate freeride sail to get you moving quickly and effortlessly no matter what the board. Optimised for low end early planing, but with great control and ease of use at the top end. A high amount of negative leech curve helps to keep the power centred low down in the sail and allowed for a subtle decrease in the aspect ratio to give additional low end. 6 battens in the larger sizes (>6.3) for stability and drive, and 5 battens in the small sizes (<5.7), for improved manoeuvrability, means that no matter what the wind, you have the perfect balance.

The Fire offers all the performance of race sail, but without the hassles of cambers. Easy to rig, easy to waterstart and easy to gybe, yet with huge top speed potential, thanks to its 7 tube-rod battens. Modifications to the outline and aspect ratio helped increase the power, for improved drive at the low end, whilst the increased negative leech curve helps to keep the power low in the sail where it can be easily controlled. The new Firewing has seen a complete overhaul. A subtle increase in the luff tube width and the additional of a 4th cam, now make the Firewing fully race competitive straight out the bag. A change to vertical seam shaping has meant we could increase the foil depth, whilst at the same time keeping that foil locked forward where it is controllable. This not only added power, but more importantly increased the stability of the sail and allowed us to increase the boom length for more drive. The leech has been opened in the mid section, whilst keeping it relatively tight through the top, which helps to keep the board pinned to the water for control, whilst the sail still releases. The Firewing offers huge top end top blitz down the reaches, low end drive to pull you out of gybe marks and all of this in a soft and easy to use package that will see you standing tall on the podium, or smashing your GPS records.

BOOM COLLECTION BOOM HEAD: The most versatile boom head on the market. A removable adaptor allows the front end to fit any mast, whether its SDM or RDM. Our front end offers the perfect mix of strength and stiffness, whilst remaining comfortable to use and forgiving on the mast. BOOM CURVES: Every boom length has a specific bend curve to perfectly suit its range of use and making riding as comfortable as possible. CUSTOM TAIL BENDS: Like the boom curves, the tail bends are custom designed for each boom length. Wide for power on the larger sizes. Narrow for control on the small sizes. CUSTOM PULLEY/CLEAT SYSTEMS: Quick and simple loop go system on all wave and freeride booms, whilst the race booms feature high quality pulley heels for top performance when used with adjustable outhaul systems. INTERNAL TEXTURED GRIP: Giving new levels of grip on the inside of the boom. CARBON TAIL PROTECTION: NEW rubber protection on all our carbon tail ends. LONG LASTING GRAPHICS: All our graphics are designed to last. That means no detail areas of the boom get worn.
