JEE Main 2015: Steps for Correction in Application Form.

What should a candidate do if he/she has already submitted JEE Main 2015 application form with wrong date of birth? Uploaded left thumb impression instead of right? In case you have furnished incorrect details or uploaded wrong scanned images, don’t panic! In this post we have shared steps for correction in application form.

Correction in JEE Main 2015 Application Form details is allowed for certain particulars. Before submitting the form, all aspirants are strongly advised to make sure that every detail they have filled including personal information, education qualification and documents, are correct and verified.

Aspirants should read JEE Main 2015 Application Procedure and details carefully before filling the form.

In case of mistakes, candidates are advised to read the following steps to rectify errors in the application form of JEE Main 2015.

JEE Main 2014 Application Form Correction Guidelines According to JEE Main 2014 information brochure, the following changes were allowed in the form:     



All details can be corrected in the form Candidates who appeared for JEE Main 2014 had to pay additional charges in case of some specific changes Changes were updated instantly in case additional fees were not required Details of the candidates who require to pay additional charges will be updated only when the extra charges were paid successfully During JEE Main 2015 form rectification process, in case of additional fee payment candidates had to pay the same through any Debit/Credit or through e-challan of Syndicate or Canara bank from the website.

Any additional amount required to be paid should be through any Credit/Debit Card or through E-Challan of Syndicate or Canara Bank.

JEE Main 2015 Application Procedure.

The JEE Main 2015 Application date and time are yet to be decided by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The schedule will be available soon on this page.

 



Step 1: Filling JEE Main 2015 Application Form Select whether you are applying for Paper 1, Paper 2 or both.

Carefully enter personal information like your name, parent’s name, state of eligibility (means state from where you have completed your Class 11 and 12th), category, date of birth and nationality.

Carefully enter your academic details such as Passing Year, Marks and Percentage Obtained, Board Name, Roll Number of Class 12th, School Name and so on.

 

Carefully fill the communication address.

Choose a password which is both strong and secure.

Upon filling the application form, you will be asked to review the details again and confirm the same. Once you confirm the details, application number will be generated for the form submitted.

End of Step One Step 2: Upload Scanned JPEG Images

    

The scanned images of photographs, thumb impression and signature should in JPG/JPEG format only.

Kindly refer the document specification subhead (below) to know the size and image dimension.

While uploading the photograph, signature and thumb impression, see its preview and check whether they appear correctly.

In case you find a problem in preview, re-upload.

Step 3: Pay Application Fee     

According to JEE Main 2014 payment procedure, JEE Main 2015 Application fee can be paid in three ways – using credit card, debit card or e-challan.

Candidates can use any one of the three modes for payment.

Candidates paying through e-challan must note that the fee can be deposited in cash at any branch of Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank and ICICI Bank.

The e-challan is generated after successful submission of the online JEE Main 2015 Application Form.

Upon completion of all the three steps, candidates can download and print the acknowledgment form.

Important Note: Before you proceed for payment, cross-check the details furnished in the application form and JPEG of documents. Once payment is done, you cannot change details in the form.
