Interjection Expresses strong feeling Example: My God, heavens!, What horror!, Mother!

Prepositions Shows a relationship between its object and another word in the sentence Example: I got out of bed at eight o'clock.

Conjunctions Shows a relationship between its object and another word in the sentence Example: He speaks Spanish and English.

Pronouns Takes the place of the noun or noun phrase Example: I went to Spanish class.

Adverb A word that modifies a verb, an adjective, or another adverb. Example: Now, yesterday, yesterday, today, tomorrow

Nouns A word that can be used to refer to a person, place, thing, quality, or action. Example: Bird, Alejandra, Italia, Beautiful
