ALPFA Veterans
Purpose The ALPFA Veterans Program aims to ease the transition of veteran members into any position within corporate America through programs held in cities across the country, and through partnerships formed with organizations focusing on veteran issues. • While there are various aspects to easing transition, this program will focus on providing the following: • Opportunities available to veterans (certifications, personal/professional benefits through VA, career fairs targeting veterans, etc.) • Guidance on how to integrate into work teams in the civilian world • Identifying a sponsor, mentor or coach and knowing what the difference is (you can have more than one) • Develop an effective personal network and pay it forward
