The 52nd annual ALPFA Convention, held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, was an event designed to empower Latino professionals and students across various sectors With over 5,000 attendees, this year’s convention was focused on skill development, career advancement, and leadership growth through unique and diverse storytelling
The theme of the 2024 ALPFA Convention, RE{FRAME} YOUR STORY, was a bold and powerful call-toaction aimed at challenging and reshaping how Latino professionals view and present their personal and collective narratives Rooted in the idea that Latinos are a driving economic force, as highlighted in the 2023 Latinos GDP Report, the theme sought to inspire attendees to harness this power and influence to redefine their roles in both business and society

How many bags/letters were completed?
During the event, attendees assembled 500 meal kits.
How many hours did it take for these bags to be completed?
The expected time was 9am to 12pm and then 1pm to 3pm. We had completed the event before the afternoon break.
Who were the bags distributed to?
The meal kits were distributed by Chicanos Por La Causa to underserved Latino/Hispanic communities in Nevada.
How was your overall engagement with the attendees?
Our overall engagement with the attendees was very positive. The event provided a great opportunity to connect with other professionals and make a meaningful impact on the community.
Were there any standout moments or challenges in your interactions with the ALPFA community?
One of the standout moments was seeing the enthusiasm and dedication of the volunteers as they worked together to assemble the meal kits. A challenge we faced was ensuring that the booth setup complied with fire marshal regulations, but we worked with ALPFA and the event space managers to create an engaging and visually appealing space.
Participating in the ALPFA Cares event sponsored by Crowe LLP was an incredibly rewarding experience It was inspiring to see so many professionals come together to support a great cause and make a tangible difference in the community The event not only allowed us to give back but also provided an excellent opportunity for all to connect with like-minded individuals and strengthen our professional network I highly recommend this event to anyone looking to make a positive impact and build meaningful connections
