Purpose Statement
ALPFA’s Most Powerful Latinas (MPL) program honors 50 extraordinary Latinas annually who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, influence, and impact across business, entrepreneurship, and civic leadership. Through this recognition, MPL serves as a catalyst for increasing the representation of Latinas in executive leadership and corporate boardrooms, while fostering a powerful community of mentorship, collaboration, and advocacy.
Since 2017, ALPFA has celebrated Latina trailblazers at the highest levels of leadership—from Fortune 500 executives and financial powerhouses to entrepreneurs shaping industries and public leaders driving change. MPL honorees are more than just accomplished professionals; they are champions for representation and mentorship—using their platforms to elevate others and expand opportunities for the Latino community.

Recognition Categories
Who is considered for MPL? Honorees fall into one of the following categories:
Corporate Trailblazers
Senior executives in Fortune 500 companies or equivalent holding C-suite, SVP, EVP, or other high-level leadership roles. These leaders drive business growth, industry innovation, and corporate strategy while shaping the future of leadership in their fields.
Entrepreneurial Icons
Founders or owners whose companies generate $500M+ in annual revenue or have demonstrated transformative industry impact and influence.
Board of Directors
Board leaders who are serving on Fortune 500 or other major corporate boards, influencing corporate governance and strategic direction.
Changemakers
Public and social impact leaders who are driving systemic change in education, public policy, law, government, or nonprofit sectors, with national or international influence.
MPL Honorees demonstrate:
