Dr Jennie Bickmore-Brand
DipT, BEd, Grad DipT, MEd, MA (Leadership/Theology) PhD (Pedagogy)
As a distinguished teacher trainer, educational researcher, and consultant for organisational leadership and government policy, Jennie Bickmore-Brand’s career has largely been in the higher education sector with South Australian and Western Australian universities. An Associate Professor and former Dean of Graduate Education, she was a Master of Leadership lecturer at Alphacrucis College, where she also developed the Master of Teaching (Primary) program. Jennie specialises in adult learning, organisational development and leadership psychology – advocating and delivering innovative solutions in many school, tertiary education, and community contexts. Committed to transformational leadership, Jennie features articles in international publications, and presents keynotes at international conferences. Jennie has led national organisations in Adult Literacy/ Adult Learning provision and research. She is Patron of Media Standards Australia, Chair of the Sir David Brand Tourism Award (WA), and has held state representative positions in literacy and mathematics education (SA and WA). Jennie has also served in the advisory group for ACL (WA-Australian Christian Lobby).
