LOVING & LEARNING ABOUT OUR SISTERS
One of Alpha Gamma Delta’s greatest strengths is our commitment to ongoing education about our sisters’ needs and aspirations.
Last year, the National Panhellenic Conference and Foundation for Fraternal Excellence launched the Amplify Sorority research initiative to identify what Gen Z women seek from their collegiate experience.
The research shows: The sorority experience is more impactful and essential than ever.
Today’s college woman is laser-focused on creating a successful future for herself. Her top priorities include good grades, career preparation and personal development. She seeks opportunities, people and resources that help her pave the path to success and provide community and connection along the way.
Through Alpha Gamma Delta, our members receive impactful leadership programming like Acorn and Empower, academic scholarships, crisis relief and philanthropic opportunities, like fighting hunger.
Our sisterhood is a space for young women to learn and grow, try and fail and reach their goals within the love and comfort of true sisterhood.
For more than 60 years, the Foundation has underwritten relevant and cutting-edge leadership and personal development training for our members. We are grateful for the commitment of our alumnae, family and friends who make this possible and dedicate their time and resources to investing in Alpha Gam sisters, especially our youngest.

LEADERSHIP ACROSS GENERATIONS
One of the greatest gifts of sisterhood is the knowledge, love and care we share from one generation of women to the next.
Our collegiate chapter advisors prove this to be true, creating ripples of impact through their work with our youngest sisters.
Through her role as Alpha Epsilon-Westminster College Chapter Advisor, Caroline Chupka Lewis, Zeta Kappa-University of Pittsburgh Johnstown, has experienced this intergenerational impact firsthand.
“I was blessed to work with Pattie Magdik (Alpha Tau-Edinboro

CELEBRATING 75 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE
Earning a 3.65 GPA last semester and more than 40 semesters achieving the highest Panhellenic GPA on campus, Epsilon Zeta-Arkansas State University has a rich history of academic excellence.
University), who was a role model to me in my advising career,” Caroline said. “Alpha Gam means what it does to me because of women like Pattie, who came before me and shaped my role as an advisor.”
Today, she continues to share Pattie's wisdom through her role investing in our Alpha Epsilon sisters.
This summer, Caroline was among more than 80 advisors that attended the Academy for Chapter Advisors (ACA) at Alpha Gamma Delta’s 51st International Convention.
At ACA, advisors connected, exchanged ideas and heard from multiple speakers about intergenerational communication, boundary setting and more.
“Gen Z is a different ballgame,” Caroline said. “Our chapter advisors range from just out of college to their 70s, so having the right tools to best help and communicate with collegians is super important.”
We know that young women need mentors. Our advisors provide boots on the ground, offering wisdom, leadership and compassion during our sisters’ most formative years.
Thanks to the generosity of Foundation donors, the Foundation is proud to support critical programming like ACA . Make a gift at alphagammadeltafoundation.org/donate to help all generations of sisters grow.
In honor of this academic achievement and in celebration of their 75th anniversary, the chapter established the Epsilon Zeta Diamond Scholarship to empower and inspire generations of Epsilon Zeta sisters.
“We’ve never had an Alpha Gam Foundation scholarship,” said Chapter President Rachel Mooneyham. “Academics is such a huge part of who we are, so this was an important thing for us to do in our 75th year.”
According to Rachel, the goal of the scholarship is to relieve financial pressures so sisters can fully focus on academics and involvement.
“More than ever, our members are having to work to make their way through college,” she said. “This scholarship is something that we can provide for sisters now and in the future for their ultimate academic success.”
Epsilon Zeta is thrilled to continue their 75-year tradition of sisterhood, leadership and scholarship. To make a gift toward the Epsilon Zeta Diamond Scholarship, visit alphagammadeltafoundation.org/ epsilonzetadiamondscholarship
