Coaches Corner

The Leadership Coaches (LCs) have wrapped up another successful travel year! We continue to be the only Fraternity with a membership development program such as the Leadership Coach program, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for the impact it has had on members across the United States. Ashley Pernazza, Slippery Rock '09, said: “The best part of my coaching session was that my Leadership Coach helped me bring back my passion for Alpha Xi Delta. Being a second semester senior and finishing my term as Chapter President last semester, I haven’t felt as involved or needed like I have in the past. My LC reminded me how important it is to be a role model for younger Sisters and the new Executive Board, and I am now ready to take on that role.”

Thank You from the Gamma Delta Chapter By Valerie Bolte, Nebraska at Omaha '10, and Karly Kalina, Nebraska at Omaha '11 Our first ever Step it Up: 5K/10K and Easter Egg Hunt was an amaXIng success! Due to the generous donation from the Alpha Xi Delta Foundation, we were able to take our event to a new level and exceed all expectations. We had an outstanding turnout from the the Omaha community, and our chapter was able to see firsthand how hard work and dedication can do great things to benefit an organization like Autism Speaks. Words cannot express how helpful this grant was. Not only did it provide monetary support, but it also provided us with the support we needed from Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity and Foundation staff members. From the beginning we could tell we were given a tremendous gift. With that support and guidance, we were able to soar to new philanthropic heights and realize our potential as an Alpha Xi Delta chapter.
