These guidelines describe the visual and verbal elements that represent Altamira’s corporate identity. This includes our name, logo and others elements such as color, corporate typography, type and graphics. Sending a consistent and controlled message of who we are is essential to presenting a strong, unifed image of our company. These guidelines reflect Altamira’s commitment to quality, consistency and style. The Altamira International School brand, including the logo, name, colors and identifyng elements, are valuable company assets. Each of us is responsible for protecting the company’s interests by preventing unauthorized or incorrect use of the Altamira’s name and brand.

01. IMAGE The Altamira’s Image represents us at the very highest level and is vitally important to our brand. It acts as a signature, an identifier and a stamp of quality. It is, and should always be, the most consistent component in our communications. In order to maintain this consistency, the next guidelines should be followed.

LOGO Our logo is the key of our identity, the primary visual element that identifies us. The signature is a combination of the symbol itself and our company name - the y have a fixed relationship that should never be changed any way.y way.

SCHOOL MASCOT The Altamira International School’s mascot is THE SHARK. Our mascot will be able to promote our school’s overall goals and highlights the vision all while having a positive impact on students’ lives. THE SHARK, image can be applied in different activities such as Sports Events, Institutional Campaigns, Web Page, Social Networks, among other publications.
02. CORPORATE COLOR SYSTEM Color plays an important role in the Altamira’s identity program. Colors are one of the most important Things to transfer a brand to the costumers. The corporate colors are defined unalterably in the following proportions and color systems.

03. LOGO PLACEMENT When the logo is used on white, black or colored backgrounds, the parameters described below must be followed.

POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE VERSION When the logo is used on flat white backgrounds with no possibility of obtaining color, it should be used in solid black color, without scales of tonality. In case the background is black it should be used in white in the same way, completely solid and without scales of tonality.
COLOR VERSION On full color backgrounds the logo should be used in white. Only with light backgrounds the logo should be used in original colors. It is allowed to use the logo on images or textured backgrounds on special occasions and under the express authorization of the School's Communications Department.

04. REPRODUCTION SIZE OF LOGO According to the proportions of the logo and its use, the parameters described below must be followed.

The limits of the protected area are based on the 5mm dimension, relative to the height.

To preserve the integrity of the Altamira’s logo, a protected area has been defined in relation to text or other surrounding graphic elements.
MINIMUM DIMENSIONS To ensure readability of the Altamira’s logo, a minimum size has been set. This size is based on the characteristics of the logo and the typical media (that is, printed material and on-screen) in which it is used. There is no limit to the maximum size of the logo, as long as the protected area is maintained.

INCORRECT USE OF LOGO Changing the main elements of the brand undermines its coherence and perception, and compromises the objectives of branding. The criteria for use apply to all versions of the Altamira’s Logo. Some examples of misuse of the logo are:
Incorrect use of colors.
Change institutional typography.
Add filters or effects.
Horizontal, vertical or diagonal deformation.
Change, removal or addition of logo elements.
Changing minimum dimensions.
Changing the logo resolution.
