En aquest petit pis amb terrassa enorme a Barcelona, vam convèncer a la clienta que la millor manera era ampliar fent un pavelló separat del pis per generar una seqüència d’espais interiors i exteriors que permeten optimitzar les condicions de llum i privacitat

We convinced the client of this small apartment with a large terrace in Barcelona, that the best way to expand, was to construct a pavilion separate from the floor that would generate a sequence of interior and exterior spaces that would allow for optimized light and privacy conditions.

Pour ce petit appartement bénéficiant

d’une très grande terrasse, à Barcelone, nous avons convaincu le client que la meilleure façon d’agrandir était de créer un pavillon séparé de l’appartement pour générer une suite d’espaces intérieurs et extérieurs qui permettent d’optimiser les conditions d’éclairage et d’intimité.

Vam dissenyar un sistema de pòrtics i panells, un volum autònom i sobreposat. Es va aconseguir un espai controlat, privat, íntim.

La construcció efímera i re movible i les limitacions de transport i muntatge van definir la relació

compositiva. Es manté la coherència entre estructura i tancament. A l’interior, la franja baixa té un acabat continu, funcional i domèstic. Per sobre d’aquesta, el protagonisme és de la fusta. We designed a system of porticos and panels in an autonomous and overlapping volume that achieved a controlled, private and intimate space.

The ephemeral and removable construction had limitations with transportation and assembly, and this designed the compositional relationship, however the coherence between structure and enclosure was maintained. Inside, the lower section has a continuous, functional and domestic finish. Regarding

the top section, the whole structure is made of wood. Nous avons conçu un système de portiques et de panneaux, un volume autonome et superposé. Résultat, un espace délimité, privé et intime.

La construction éphémère et amovible, ainsi que les contraintes de transport et de montage, ont déterminé la composition. La cohérence entre la structure et la fermeture est respectée. A l’intérieur, la bande basse a une finition continue,

fonctionnelle et domestique. Au-dessus de celle-ci, c’est le bois qui domine.
