Downtime and maintenance
We have specialist vinyl flooring for specific areas, such as Altro Stronghold ™ 30 and Altro Stronghold ™ 30 adhesivefree safety flooring for food preparation areas and kitchens exposed to grease, oils and fats.
In addition, we offer solutions for corridors, wet rooms, wet and dry changing, high and low care changing and locker rooms. You can choose from traditionally adhered, or for a fast-track option, ask about our adhesive-free floors. In short, we’ve got all your needs covered.

Effective, impervious, protective walls can make all the difference when it comes to easy, low-cost maintenance and hygiene in food and drink production areas.
Our Altro Whiterock White ™ and Altro Whiterock Satins ™ wall sheets are a hygienic alternative to tiles that’s impact resistant, grout-free and easy to clean. Suitable for use in food production, they are HACCP approved and made from a high-quality, food-safe PVCu polymer that can handle temperatures up to 60°C.

Slips can occur on wet or contaminated floors. You can provide a safe working environment for your employees in food and drink production areas from a multitude of contaminants, from animal fats to grains and flour.
To protect your staff in environments where spills and hose-down cleaning routines are necessary, you need reliable, long-lasting slip resistance. We offer specialist safety floors for demanding environments assessed as having a very high slip risk.

Water underfoot is treacherous enough – add grease, oils and fats, and you’ve got a dangerous environment. So, for commercial kitchens, canteens, food preparation and service areas, it’s essential to select flooring that will help catering staff do their job safely.
Altro Stronghold 30 achieves Altro’s highest rating for slip resistance (P5, R12) and is designed to minimise risk in wet and greasy conditions for the lifetime of the flooring. As well as helping to keep staff safe from slips, it also helps reduce their fatigue, thanks to its 3mm thickness which provides noise reduction and comfort underfoot.
Altro Stronghold 30 is frequently specified with Altro Whiterock hygienic wall sheet to create safe and hygienic environments in commercial and industrial kitchens.

Altro Stronghold™ 30 adhesive-free: easy to install carbon saving safety floor for commercial kitchens.
Designed exclusively for commercial kitchens, Altro Stronghold 30 adhesive-free can be welded and walked on the same day, significantly reducing kitchen downtime. With an integral DPM, it’s fast-fitting and can even be installed over existing flooring or on fresh concrete with a maximum RH of 97%. Over 95% of an installed floor can be recycled or re-used after use.
Altro Stronghold 30 adhesive-free is the ideal flooring solution for busy kitchens. It’s easy to maintain and repair and has strong scratch and scuff resistance, giving your kitchen floor a long-life expectancy. It has Altro’s highest rating for slip resistance (P5, R12) and 3mm thickness, which provides comfort underfoot and noise reduction up to 10dB.

Of course, Altro Whiterock Satins still provides the impact resistance and hygiene you would expect from Altro Whiterock, with a stain-resistant, wipe-clean surface. Altro Whiterock Satins can be combined with Altro safety flooring to achieve an environment that’s impervious to bacteria ingress and easy to clean to prevent contamination.
