Welcome again to another issue of Al Wasat • In this issue you will find that we have dedicated this edition to review stories from the past 12 months. • We would like to congratulate community organisations, schools and individuals all over Australia with their achievements. • The new Muslim aged care centre “Gallipoli Home” caters for 102 residents and is located near the Auburn Mosque. Being a community that takes care of our elders we may feel uneasy about a Muslim aged care centre,but the reality is that not everyone is able to look after their elders, especially if they have special needs. The centre’s vision is to work closely with families to make sure their elders’ needs are met on all levels. Read more about the centre and its activities on page 36.

Perhaps it dreams of freedom in his long deep slumber. • A year passed, optimism is still beating in the soul, moving in the veins and relieving the tragedies. • A year passed, we’ll bid farewell with pain and receive another with hope. A new year we will welcome, Insha’Allah, with hope. We ask Allah “SWT” for this year, its light and blessing.

Ibrahim Dellal, a “Living History” died Dr. Salih Yucel

Ibrahim Dellal (1932-2018) who played a pioneering role in establishing religious and educational institutions since his arrival in Melbourne in early 1950 died on Friday, December 7th. He was known a grand son of the late Ottoman Mufti in Cyprus.

Together with Sheik Fehmi Naji El-Imam and Dr Abdul Khaliq Kazi led many Islamic activities and establishing institutions in Victoria. He played an important role in establishing Cypriot Turkish Society in 1956, Islamic Society of Victoria in 1957, Carlton Mosque, Preston Mosque in 1963, Australian Federation of Islamic Societies (AFIS) in 1964, Coburg Mosque in 1971, Australian Federation of Islamic Councils (AFIC) in 1976 and Selimiye Foundation in 1991, which established Sirius College with six campuses. He also played an important role in bring Turkish immigrants in the late 60s and helped them with their settlement. He saw a dream at the age of six in Larnaca. He saw that he was building a mosque in a beautiful country. His dream would come true 63 years later in 2001. His brother and Ibrahim together with help of the community, built the Sunshine Mosque. Ibrahim made substantial contributions towards earning Australia billions of dollars through the export of halal meat

to Muslim countries. His contributions led to him being awarded the Silver Jubilee Medal by Queen Elizabeth in 1977. In 2007, Ibrahim’s name appeared on the Queen’s Birthday Honours List as a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia. Ibrahim viewed serving community as an

act of worship. After retirement in 1991, he worked voluntarily six days in a week. His close friends called him Osmanli Beyefendisi, the Ottoman gentleman. He served communities regardless of their faith and social status. After 9/11, he became the advocate of interfaith dialogue between Muslims and non-

Muslims. So often he would say: “The life is too short, and we have important tasks that need to be done.” “If I don’t do this (serving community), I will die. I will do this until my last breath.” He never divorced from the community and did not quit to serve. He served the community till his last breath. While sick at home or hospital, he continued to collect money via phone for the scholarship. When his friends visited him in the hospital, he did not talk about his health or pain but talked of the new projects in his mind. His funeral service took place at Quba Mosque based on his will. Over 400 people attended and he was buried at Fawkner Cemetery. He will be remembered as a lover of education, an advocate of interfaith dialogue and servant of the community. It is distressing for many of us having to deal with the anti-Muslim, anti-refugee and anti-immigrant propaganda striking at us in social media and in the corporate press, particularly the Murdoch controlled media. That a section of our political leadership joins in these attacks is also a cause of distress.

It The fact that the present Prime Minister, in Liberal Party talks in 2011, when the party was organising to win office, urged the shadow cabinet to use the electorate’s growing concerns about “Muslim immigration”, “Muslims in Australia” and the “inability” of Muslim migrants to integrate as part of its election strategy, still worries our community. While this is not yet the dominant picture in this country, the example of the Trump Administration and the Brexit campaign in the UK indicate what could be the result. We well know, with our history of the White Australia Policy, adopted as the first measure of the new Commonwealth of Australia in 1901, that racism is not a new feature of our political life. In earlier times it might be justified on the basis of crass ignorance.

Darwin and Francis Galton The most progressive Darwinians accepted, as his “On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life” suggested, that the “inferior” races would die out. His cousin Francis Galton, a great statistician, generalised the finding that many human characteristics are distributed in accord with the bell curve or the normal curve, to intellectual abilities and racial characteristics. He wrote that the Chinese were a race of geniuses, that “Negroes” were vastly inferior, that “Hindoos” were inferior in “strength and business habits” and that the “Arab is little more than an eater up of other men’s produce; he is a destroyer”. He viewed Australian Aborigines as the lowest and most backward form of human being. The inventor of eugenics was off course. “The irony is that while Galton spawned a field with the intention of revealing essential racial differences between the peoples of the Earth, his legacy – human genetics – has shown he was wrong.” [1 March 2005 Adam Rutherford The Observer] This style of thinking, based on false

“science” had great impact upon the academic and political worlds. It was most convenient in that it helped justify why the Europeans were dominating the non-European world in the age of imperialism. Africans were divided up amongst the European nations because they were genetically inferior to the nordic races. Theodore Roosevelt and Winston Churchill both argued, on the basis of this theory, for the prevention of breeding amongst the more “feeble minded.” Here in Australia, our leading academics were wedded to this approach.

Eugenics and Racial Superiority in Australia 1935 “Non-Britishers in Australia: Influence on Population and Progress” by J. Lyng was published by Melbourne University. It carried a foreword by Ernest Scott, one of the outstanding Australian scholars at the time. He wrote “Mr Lyng …wishes to analyse and indicate those elements in the racial mixture of Australia which are likely to conduce most effectually to the successful development of the country.” It was regarded as self-evident that “The history of mankind proves that the destinies of people are governed by a racial law. Neither irreligion, no immorality, no luxurious living, nor weakness of government causes the decadence of civilisations. If a nation goes down, the reason is that its blood, the race itself is deteriorating.” Eugenics, based on flawed theories of genetics, was academically acceptable in the 1930s. For example, Professor Agar of Melbourne University was elected chairman of the provisional committee of the Racial Hygiene Society of Victoria in October 1936. In his 1937 speech to the inaugural meeting of the Eugenics Society at Scots Hall, Melbourne he emphasised that the most serious problem the Society might address was “the extreme disparity between the fertility rate of the two classes of society-those of superior natural endowments, intellectual and physical, and those of inferior qualities

of mind and body.” He wanted some scheme to encourage the better type of persons to have large families but did not go so far as to advocate family allowances or child endowment, “which might be an inducement to the unskilled labourer but not to the man in the higher occupational groups.” Although these outdated and disproven racist theories have been expelled from scientific discourse, they still raise their heads in political discourse and amongst the less literate of the public.

The Decline in Acceptable Racism It is noticeable that while open talk of racial inferiority/superiority occurs only amongst the neo-Nazis and their ilk, much of the anti-refugee, antiimmigrant and anti-Muslim rhetoric is disguised racism. Lyng, in more honest days, when the colonial world was largely silent, classified the Muslims in “the brown race.” According to Lyng, geographically stretching from Polynesian and Micronesian islands in the Pacific through Asia to Persia and Turkey, these ‘brown

people’ were really a series of types clearly distinguished from one another. “Some of these types, like the Persians and Ottoman Turks, are largely white; others like the southern Indians and Yemenite Arabs, are largely black; while still others, like the Himalayan and Central Asian peoples, have much yellow blood. Again, there is no generalised brown race culture like those possessed by yellow and whites.” “The great spiritual bond” Lyng recognised, “is Islamism.” We should not judge our conservative politicians too harshly. Many of them grew up in days when these mad theories were held by quite sane people and many of them evolved in very conservative families, some on the edge of fascism. What we should judge harshly are those who aid and abet those political organisations and individuals which advance such venomous views and associated policies.

Accord

The ICV had the great pleasure in signing an Accord to Recognise and Support the First Peoples of Australia, with the National Congress of Australia’s First Peoples. ICV president Mohamed Mohideen and Jackie Huggins, Co-Chair of the Congress officially signed the Accord at the ICV Annual Dinner on Sunday 18th November 2018. The Accord is an agreement by the ICV to support Congress as an organisation and also to support a set of key objectives and principles. These include promoting the domestic implementation of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples; the recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples in the Australian Constitution; the National Anti-Racism Strategy; and further partnership work as negotiated and agreed to by the two parties. The Accord will strengthen our relationship First Nations people and the Muslim communities.

BURGLARY – HOPPERS CROSSING SUNDAY, 11 NOVEMBER 2018 Police are appealing for information after an alleged burglary and theft of motor vehicle in Hoppers Crossing between Sunday, 11 November 2018 and Sunday, 18 November 2018. Peer Mentorship and Emotional Intelligence Leadership Graduations On Friday the 23rd of November held a graduation for 25 emerging young leaders that successfully completed the Peer Mentorship Leadership Program a partnership with Australian Multicultural Foundation and the Emotional Intelligence Leadership Program a partnership with the Blended Learning Group. The 2 distinct leadership programs ran over 6 months with participants exposed to Media training and public

relations, networking, collaboration, interaction and engagement with prominent community leaders, scholars & politicians & mentorship. The guest speaker at the graduation was the Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Sally Capp, who spoke about the importance of community leadership and local initiatives. The highlight of the evening was the shared insights and experiences of the graduates who presented their learnings from the program. The ICV congratulates all of the new graduates!

My Vote Matters Campaign In a period of over three months, the ICV’s My Vote Matters Campaign brought together a group of young people, both Muslims and non-Muslims to work on the first initiative of its kind in the history of Australian Muslims. These young passionate volunteers were able to survey the Muslim community on the issues that mattered to our community most, encouraged young Muslims to enrol to vote and motived the rest of the community to get out voting.

They also met with several MPs and candidates in electorates with significant Muslim populations and compiled reports on their views on the issues that mattered to our community, which were published on the campaign website. The campaign concluded with the releasing of a policy scorecard that provided Muslim voters with the necessary information they needed to make an informed vote on the issues identified on the survey as being of most importance to Victorian Muslims.

Yusuf / Cat Stevens, legendary singer/ songwriter and humanitarian has donated over one million dollars from his ‘A Cat’s Attic’ - Peace Train Tour’ to support local and international charities. A host of Australian charities are being engaged to develop programs that give back to the community. The first to receive support will be drought-afflicted farmers through the ‘Rural Aid Australia’, elderly citizens through the ‘Gallipoli Home Care Centre’, cancer sufferers through the ‘Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre’, and many more to be announced in the coming weeks. At the end of last year, Paul Dainty, in collaboration with Moonshadow Australia Pty, brought Yusuf and his band to Australia and New Zealand where he performed to packed arenas in 9 cities across the continent. Performing such classics as Father & Son, Morning has Broken and Wild World, crowds sang along and enjoyed his latest songs from critically acclaimed, Grammy-nominated album “Laughing Apple”. “I believe that concerts are positive opportunities to receive as well as to give back, making people happy is what I love to do.” As well as supporting these organisations, funds will also be channelled through Penny Appeal to launch a new initiative directed towards education for children from remote communities through the Indigenous Literacy Foundation and emergency relief. ‘Peace Train’ buses and mobiles will soon begin rolling in the UK, South Africa, Australia as well as other regions across the globe.

Stand-up, Speak out: Refugees Rights are Human Rights Rally

In commemorating International Human Rights Day, the Refugee Action Collective (Victoria) held a rally to demand an end to the racist scapegoating of refugees by the current politicians. They asked the government to permanently close the camps on Manus and Nauru islands, bring all the refugees to Australia, stop the boat-turn-back policy, and permanent protection - not Temporary Protection Visas. Refugees have been imprisoned offshore on Manus and Nauru islands for over 5 years which has led to the deaths of twelve people, separating refugees families, leaving refugees in limbo on TPVs, deporting asylum seekers to danger and worse, as more children are becoming seriously ill (physically and mentally) that need immediate action in order to keep them alive. This rally also took place in the run-up to ALP Conference Dec 16-18, which brings the policies of a potential ALP government into sharper focus.

Falling property prices in Australia

By Dr. AbulKhair Jalaluddin Australians love home ownership and investment in real estate. The unsustainable growth in property prices during the last decade or so has decreased affordability, adversely impacting on the level of home ownership in the country. According to the census 2016, the rate of home ownership in Australia decreased from 67% in 2011 to 65% in 2016. Home ownership rate in Australia averaged 68.85% from 1966 until 2016, reaching an all-time high of 71.40% in 1966 and a record low of 65% in 2016. Tasmania has the highest rate of home ownership at 70% and the Northern Territory the lowest at 46%. However, the level of Australian home

ownership is still one of the highest in the World. House and unit prices in the Australian major cities are on the decline during the last two years. In October 2018, AMP produced a forecast that house prices in Sydney and Melbourne are expected to fall up to 20%, with predicted losses of 5% per annum until 2020. This forecast, if materialises, would take the average home prices back to the first half of 2015 levels. House prices in Sydney are expected to suffer the most as the annual price falls in Sydney have so far reached 6.3%, while Melbourne has declined by 4% in 2018. Recently, Morgan Stanley also released a forecast that Sydney and Melbourne house prices will fall by 10% to 15%. Price declines are not uniform across various regions of a capital city. In Sydney, home prices have taken the biggest hit from September 2017 to September 2018 but some suburbs in various regions across the city are experiencing price rises. In Canterbury-Bankstown region, prices increased in Bankstown (6.6%), Milperra (3.2%) and Greenacre (3%). Growth in prices are seeing in suburbs of other regions of Sydney such as Inner West, North West, Upper North Shore, lower North Shore,

Northern Beaches, city and South West. A price crash, loosely defined as a 20% or more decline in national average home prices, in the Australian real estate sector is unlikely. This is due to the facts that interest rates are at historical low levels, the rate of unemployment is low, the construction approvals are falling and the level of immigration is not collapsing. A number of regulatory and market forces caused the recent down turn in home and unit prices. In December 2014, Australian Prudential Regulatory

Authority (APRA) enacted a credit growth limit of 10% for loans to investment properties, which served its purpose in reducing demand for investment loans. This restriction was hence removed as of 30 June 2018. In March 2017, APRA imposed a limit on the flow of new interest-only loans to 30% of total new residential mortgage lending. Within this limit, APRA required strict internal controls on the volume of interest-only lending at loan-to-value ratios (LVRs) above 80% and ensured there is strong scrutiny and justification of any instances of interest-only lending at an LVR

above 90%. The legislation to cutback in foreign demand from Chinese investors, which is down by 70% since 2015, is responsible for a dent in property prices. These policy measures have had and are currently having a profound impact in downward pressure on home prices in Australia. Possible changes to negative gearing and capital gains tax, if Labor wins the next election, will also have a major drag on property prices. In the current real estate lending market, there are forces driving down home prices such as fallout from the Royal Commission into banking, tightened credit conditions through serviceability matrix, supply rises from existing constructions and a negative feedback loop from falling prices. In addition, auction clearance rates are constantly declining in capital cities, which fell to just 50.7% in late October 2018. Home price stability and affordability significantly contribute to social well-being of Australian populace. It is a good economic condition for home buyers including first home buyers who are the future Australians to drive up productivity in this country.

Monthly Cross-Cultural Workshops Farina Abawi Brisbane Conversations with Purpose is a social, support group running at Mount Gravatt Community Centre that was initiated by a few women to help other women of diverse backgrounds come together to discuss challenges in our local communities and explore solutions with the help of experts in the relevant field. The group is open to women of any background, age, culture or belief. We recognize that no one has all the answers and we cannot solve all problems. However, by gathering people of diverse backgrounds we are able to share different perspectives, pearls of wisdom and come one step closer to a better outcome, one conversation at a time. Our objective is to be positive, solution focused and driven in the idea that we share more in common than different. Previous sessions were well received and

bridge further community gaps with greater opportunities for people of different cultures and religions to interact and socialize. Sessions will be held on the last Wednesday of each month in the form of information sessions or interactive workshops. The first session for 2019 will be held on January 30th from 10:00am12:00pm at Mount Gravatt Community Centre with the topic of Elderly Loneliness. The Centre has a bus stop outside its front door and although has limited car park spaces at the site, has plenty of street parking along Logan Road.

Rami’s Thunder students brings home gold

Rami’s Thunder students competed in one of the best known competitions in Australia which was organised by the former National and Olympic Coach. The competition included the disciplines of Taekwondo, Kickboxing and Weapons. The students have done a great job, showing an amazing amount of spirit and fantastic skills. The team came home with 2 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze medals. A special thanks to the parents as their support was phenomenal.

Global Understanding of Norms and Rights

There is an international debate in the world in regards of globalisation of the norms and values of Islam. These common norms and values for mankind can be revived positively and uniting people through justice and compassion. Consequently, if people follow their own traditions without making war on each other, they will exchange ideas and learn from each other.

The 31st of October, the day I was preparing myself for my flight heading to Beirut after finishing my leadership seminar in Istanbul, I needed to buy a medicine from the small shopping centre across the road. As soon as I arrived at the crossing bridge, I saw a young boy curling his tiny legs beneath him, his face smudged with dirt from the street and beside him is a big metal cup containing scattered kurus. I couldn’t have kept walking without asking about him as I was distracted by his miserable position in the street and I asked him: “What are you doing here? And why are you sitting in the street at school time?” He said that he had to bring money for his mum because his dad got killed in Syria. I felt my heart breaking apart at that moment and I could not hold back my tears. I asked him about his name, he said “Ahmed”. At this moment I recalled our Islamic history full of values, dignity and honor. I remembered the golden age of Islam when the Muslim scholars contributed to the preservation and passing of Greek and other knowledge about philosophy, medicine, astronomy, physics and other disciplines to Europe. I remembered when Muslim rulers gave asylum to Jews fleeing from persecution in Christian States. And the time of the Caliph Umar ibn Abdul Aziz who has made all the people rich during his time and when he intended to give zakat to the poor people, he did not find one. All these blossomed images are yet from the past and all we can see now is a turmoil region full of pain and distress, and especially, the pain that the Syrians are going through. It is very sad that we are crying our heart out from the cruel massacre and the criminal onslaught that is happening in this region and nobody cares. This is the worst act of terrorism that has ever happened in history. In spite of this, the international world remains silent! We have to be merciful and compassionate towards each other, and the fundamental principles of

compassion and mercy and social justice stem from the core of our Islamic tradition. Our beloved Prophet (pbuh) says: “None of you has faith until he loves for the people what he loves for himself.” ( Narrated by Ahmad), “The person does not reach the reality of faith until he loves for the people what he loves for himself of goodness.” (Narrated by Ibn Hibban.) All Abrahamic religions meet when it comes to the fundamental principles of human conduct: charity, dignity, justice, mercy, compassion, mutual respect and the equality of human beings in the sight of God. These values originate from the natural disposition (fitrah) that God put in each one of us and, therefore they are global norms and rights. There is an international debate in the world in regards of globalisation of the norms and values of Islam. These common norms and values for mankind can be revived positively and uniting people through justice and compassion. Consequently, if people follow their own traditions without making war on each other, they will exchange ideas and learn from each other. There is must be a dialogue and communication of mutual respect. The idea is not to eliminate diversity, but to preserve it and celebrate it as a source of happiness and strength. I am talking here about basic rights of human conduct, about an ethical world based on a sense of our common values and about a framework of shared principles. Equipped with these principles, we can make an effort to educate ourselves, to critically evaluate the information we are given and to learn to assess the difference between hateful/manipulated campaigns and good media. The goal of education is to produce an innovative and articulate human generation who will see no dichotomy between holding onto their faith and living and contributing to a framework of shared ideas and values. In this way, we can protect our society and promote respect for human dignity.

Sisters With Helping Hands It is a long tradition in Islamic culture to bring extra blessings to our food by sharing our food with others and especially to those in need who are unable to easily provide food for themselves because of poverty or sickness. For more than twenty years, here in Brisbane, there has been a tradition among certain nationalities in the community to arrange food rosters and visits in the first few weeks for women who have just given birth. It is recognition of the life-altering event that the mother has just gone through and understanding how mothers themselves need to be pampered and taken care of at least at the beginning of welcoming a new baby. It used to be that women in the particular communities organised themselves to help other ladies of their own community who they knew needed help. This provided immeasurable support to these ladies who were usually alone in Brisbane with no other families except their own husband and children. Women from their own communities tried to fulfill this need for support by preparing healthy home-cooked meals for the women and their families, then delivering it to their houses for the first one or two weeks after they give birth. This in turn also fostered new bonds between women who sometimes have never met before and help make the recipient feel loved and supported by the community. Over time, this crowd-voluntary effort also extended to other women who may be facing other hardships like difficulties during pregnancy, hospitalisation, long-term illness, family upheavals and other events after which women appreciate hot and delicious

home-cooked meals delivered with love. To help Australian reverts to be supported by the community and to strengthen their faith and connection with other Muslim women in the community. The first organisation for reverts in Brisbane, the Muslim Women’s Convert Support Group, was founded in the 1990’s by Australian revert sisters. They adopted this beautiful custom from other Muslim women whom they saw helping their own communities in Brisbane. Recently, a new registered charity organisation, Sisters With Helping Hands (a division of the Hurricane Stars Club Inc.) continues this beautiful tradition of all those lovely ladies until today with a group of volunteers from all nationalities who regularly volunteer to cook 100% halal delicious meals for the families of sisters who are not well enough to look after their own families. Realizing that this is an amazingly profound and much needed assistance for many other Muslim women out there but currently not known by the majority of women in the community, the Hurricane Stars Club Inc. decided to therefore register the Sisters With Helping Hands organisation with the Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission (ACNC) as a registered benevolent charity with a formal governing constitution. As a result of being registered with ACNC, Sisters with Helping Hands was able to register with the Australian Taxation Office as a benevolent charitable organisation and that granted us tax deductible gift recipient

Alhamdulillah, when Muslims came to Australia, they did not forget this beautiful tradition and they continued to generously share the Rizk that Allah gave them with others. status. This means that for all our volunteers, we can issue them with a tax-deductible receipt for the expenses they incurred cooking for or helping others in the community (with proof of purchase receipts). This will also expand access for the services offered by our volunteers to many other women in need in the community. Sisters with Helping Hands has engaged with medical practitioners in areas with high Muslim populations, like Kuraby, Logan Central and Underwood, to allow medical practitioners to offer our services to their patients that they deem may need more support from the community. There was also Hifz completion graduations for Hafiz Mohammed Umar Naeem and Hafiz Muhammed Umair Naeem the son’s of Mufti Naeem Ali, the Imam of the Darra Mosque.

MCF helps tumor patient Brisbane resident, Laith who was diagnosed with a brain tumor had surgery beginning of December to remove a brain tumor. The operation was performed by the world renowned surgeon Dr. Teo in Sydney. What was expected to take 4 hours ended up taking almost 9 hours to perform the very complex operation. He spent a few days in hospital and was then discharged to the care of his family who are staying in Sydney until he is well enough to fly home. The Muslim Charitable Foundation has paid

for the surgery and hospital which has cost $110,000.00 so far. MCF and the family are very grateful to all those who have remembered him in their prayers and everyone who gave so generously towards the appeal. Laith has a long recovery ahead of him and faces continual check ups and treatment with ongoing expenses. Spirit of Leadership Graduation

The Spirit of Leadership Program led by Benevolence Australia in partnership with the ICV held its graduation on Saturday 1st of December 2018 at the Beau Monde International. A collaboration with ICV, Benevolence Australia piloted the SOL (Spirit of Leadership) program in 2018. The program was designed to educate, upskill and empower young Muslim women and men (aged 18-24) from diverse migrant and refugee backgrounds to become active citizens and positive contributors to Victorian communities and Australian society.

This twelve-month program of tailored leadership and spiritual development training has helped participants to successfully engage with diverse Australian communities by way of Benevolence’s various outreach and community programs, and through programs offered by ICV member societies. Participants have been able to develop personal, professional and leadership skills, increase and expand their community and professional networking and explore potential future employment and leadership opportunities.

Scholarship 2019 Recipient The ICV awould like to congratulate Aynur Simsirel on being awarded the Muslim Women’s Leadership Initiative Scholarship for the 2019 Williamson program. Aynur is a passionate educator running leadership training at Independent Schools and voluntarily mentors Islamic School leaders in the area of governance and leadership. The scholarship is an initiative between Leadership Victoria and the ICV and offers a package of programs and activities designed to foster leadership in Muslim women in Victoria through building connections with people currently exercising leadership, and to establish connections and understanding within and between faith, ethnic and other demographic communities in Victoria. This is the 3rd year the scholarship has been awarded with past recipients being Zeynep Sertel and Saara Sabbagh.

Think of all the career choices available to a person today, and you will begin to understand why deciding on a career is getting tougher for the children under your wing. You could argue that children today are more fortunate because they have a lot more options to choose from, they could even work from home, run an online business, and still earn.

The fact is, having more career choices does not necessarily make choosing a career any easier. On the contrary, having too many options can be overwhelming for anyone. Even by the time a teenager is ready for college, he or she might have little inkling which course to take, despite knowing that opting for a suitable course is one of the most important things he must do. With a bit more thought, you could guide your child to make a better informed, wiser decision. 1.Talk about career options early. Early exposure means a lot. It’s never too early to begin. You can start planting ideas and introducing different types of careers to a child as young as four. This is an ongoing discussion which may continue right up to the time when he needs to sign-up for a course in college. 2. Increase the options. Do not limit career options to the ones you are familiar. Or those that are traditionally considered prestigious or safe. Modern farming, for example, is sorely needed everywhere in the world. Your child needs to learn that food does not come from supermarkets. Those piles of rubbish by the roadside does not disappear by themselves, neither does waste water. Your child might be the next up-and-coming modern farmer the nation needs, or the owner of an advanced waste management company that keeps the city clean. 3. Help your child understand the nature of the job. By this I mean,

Get them to sit with your child and explain the nature of their respective jobs. Even better, bring your child to your friend’s workplace, so your child could have a clearer idea, a more realistic feel, how the job is done. Being a doctor is different from being a medical student in first year. It’s not only about memorising facts, you need to learn how to be empathetic with patients. Winning a patient over with respect and bedside manners is a big part of the job. A significant number of medical students quit once they started dealing with patients, when they realised it’s not something they handled well. If they had known about it from the beginning, they could have opted for a different career. 4.Ownership is important. No matter what he chooses, your child is far more likely to brave the ups and downs of college life if he has a better understanding right from the beginning what he is in for. If you are the one making that decision, or if your child has little idea what she would be learning, what the course entails, what she would be doing with the qualification she would be earning, the chances of him or her having regrets later is greater. 5. Liking a job is not enough. Teenagers typically say they want to be somebody, a writer, an artist, an engineer, because they like the job. We often read and hear about highly successful people

who, when interviewed, emphasised how much they love their job. But liking and loving a job is only part of the story. No matter how much you love a job, there will always be parts of the job that you dislike. A job is not just about money, paying the bills. A job can bring happiness or misery to your child’s life, a possible source of fulfilment, both pleasure and pain, no matter how much you like it. In the long run, you could only stick to a job if it brings meaning to your life. In many cases, meaning comes when you see the benefit, the good that your work brings to people. Bring this up early in your discussion with your child. Ask: How will this career choice benefit others? How will being an accountant, an architect, an engineer help your parents, your family, your community? This is human nature. When you know what you do makes a real difference to people’s lives, you know why you are doing the job, you are clear on the value of what you are doing, you are more likely to be able to withstand the challenges thrown your way.

Ramadan Iftar Dinners Always with you on 2018 the road to goodness Alhamdulilah, the year of 2018 has come to an end with fruitful results at Human Appeal. Thanks firstly to Allah (SWT), the Most High. This year, the projects that has been carried out locally and abroad benefitted millions of poor and needy and delivered goodness across the globe. With the support of our generous community Human Appeal have been able to reach an amazing $22million in donations. Your donations have saved lives, fed hunger, warmed up cold winter and provided hope to disadvantaged. Unfortunately, 2018 was a year of numerous conflicts and natural disasters which have impacted thousands of people on a global scale. Regardless of the circumstances we were able to support our fellow brothers and sisters during the cold winters of the Middle East, the conflict in Yemen, the floods in Sudan, the siege on Ghouta, the victims of the Gazan protests and most recently the Sulawesi tsunami and earthquake in Indonesia. Human Appeal has been able to deliver emergency aid needed urgently to all these locations, warm clothing, food parcels, hot meals, medical aid, bedding and temporary shelters. With that in mind, we did not forget to deliver our support locally; we sponsored local projects and initiatives, Eid festivals, youth programs, community centres and stood behind any project for the betterment of our community. We also helped those affected by natural disasters locally, in particular the NSW bushfires and farmer’s drought. It was a proud moment for our organisation to have the opportunity to make a stand with our farmers and help our fellow Australians. We delivered unique opportunities to our youth to excel; Aspiring Leaders Tour, High Achievers Awards, schools initiatives and aiming for a stronger community and a better future. Once again it has been an amazing year for Human Appeal and we aim to reach new heights in 2019 through the many new and exciting initiatives that we have planned. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family and loved ones a happy and prosperous year hoping that together with our generous community, we will continue on the road to goodness.

HAA chairman Riyad Qasim and farmers during hay distribution in Warren NSW On Saturday 18th of August Human Appeal Australia launched its “Farmers Drought Appeal” to help drought stricken Australian farmers. Human Appeal with the help of our generous community has been able to raise and allocate an amazing amount of $90,000 to help alleviate the hardships faced by farmers. On Tuesday 27th November the Human Appeal team including the Chairman: Mr Riyad Qasim and the City of Canterbury Bankstown Councillor Bilal El-Hayek, headed out to Cobar NSW and Warren Shire to supervise the aid distribution. With the help of Cobar Council (a sister Council to Canterbury Bankstown

Council) the aid was distributed among farmers in Cobar. The following day, in conjunction with Fletcher International (Human Appeal’s Qurban project partner for the last 27 years), bales of hay were distributed in Warren Shire. Mr Riyad Qasim handed out hay vouchers to farmers affected the most in Cobar and Warren. The vouchers enabled them to collect their bales of hay instantly. The farmers expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the generous donors who contributed to this great cause. Mr Rusty Mitchel, a farmer of Cobar NSW, thanked Human Appeal’s donors for standing with farmers not only financially but also for emotional support during the prolonged drought and rural

hardship. He appreciated the fact that hundreds of kilometres away someone cared and stood beside him during these tough times. Many thanks to our generous community for showing solidarity with our Aussie farmers by supporting the cause and helping many farmers who were at the brink of losing their farms due to the severe drought. We highly appreciate our community’s contribution. With their generosity, they are not just helping farmers. In fact, they are helping their own families and the whole Australian community.

The fourth annual aspiring leaders Umrah tour 2018 Human Appeal Australia (HAA) in conjunction with Deen Academy (DA) hosted a group of young Muslim Australians for its fourth annual Aspiring Leaders Umrah Tour of four countries – Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Turkey and UAE. The tour, comprising fifteen participants from Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and for the first time Perth, took place from 5 to 24 February 2018. The group of young university students and graduates were led and mentored by Bashar Al-Jamal, director of HAA and Dr Zac Matthews from DA. The overwhelming feedback from participants was that the “oncein-a-lifetime tour” would never be forgotten on their journey of personal development to serve the needs of humanity. Special acknowledgment goes to A&H Travel for supporting the 2018 tour.

This year’s event saw three distinguished people being honoured. The first was Sh. Isse Mosse who served the Muslim community in Melbourne for more than two decades as a scholar, imam of City and Virgin Mary (Werribee) mosques, a well-known speaker and an advocate of peace and harmony among the whole Australian society. The second honouree was lawyer Fatima Dennaoui who served relentlessly the Muslim community having finished four degrees including a law degree. She is

also known for her key role in the Muslim Legal Association. The third honouree was Amr Ahmed. Amr is a grade 4 student at Australian International Academy in Coburg. He memorised most of the Quran, is a promising public speaker and has many other talents. This year’s function was held with the financial support of several sponsors and donors including MCCA, Human Appeal International, Jawad family, Splash Painting.

Gallipoli Home

The First Choice for Muslim-Specific Aged Care in Australia

The first aged care home in Sydney dedicated to serving the needs of our Muslim & culturally diverse elders By Princess Lakshman (Sister Iqra)

According to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, 215,000 people entered residential care, home care and transition care in 2016-17, with women outnumbering men in aged care by two to one. Furthermore, it was reported that 85% of permanent aged care residents were diagnosed with at least one mental health condition or behavioural condition such as depression and dementia and required high care. The groups that were reported to be most in need of high care was women and people from linguistically and culturally diverse communities. community. Gallipoli Home, previously known as Rahma Aged Care, was created with a strong vision to not only serve and care for the Muslim elderly but to do so in an Islamic way. The Gallipoli Home in Auburn, Sydney, next to the mosque, has staff who speak Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, and Urdu, to cater for over 10 different cultural communities. The uniqueness of Gallipoli Home in comparison with other aged care facilities is the variety of Islamic activities provided to Gallipoli Home residents that nourish their spiritual, mental and physical health. These activities include Animal Therapy, where residents get to spend time patting baby goats and baby chickens, Ebru Art, which is a Turkish paper marbling, mosque visits every Friday for Jumuah prayer, Quran sessions, weekly Happy Hour of Nasheeds and regular gardening.

Darwin: The AFIC Executive & Federal Council Go North

The AFIC Exco and Federal Council held their September meetings in Darwin as part of a focus to connect with and understand our grass roots organisations better

In the first of an ongoing program of re-engaging with local communities, the AFIC Executive and Federal Council took their September meeting to Darwin. This allowed us to see first hand the new Mosque and community hall development at Palmerston as well as to hear directly from the local community

about their initiatives and programs including their plans for a full- time Islamic School insha’Allah. The Islam Council of Northern Territory is made up of the Islamic Societies in Darwin (ISD), Palmerston and Alice Springs. The ISD put on a community dinner, which was an evening full of barakah. We ask

that Allah (swt) bless the work that our brothers and sisters in the far north are doing and the exemplary example of Islam they are presenting to the people of Darwin.

Indonesian Earthquake Relief There have been several natural disasters that have impacted our brothers and sisters in Indonesia. After the last earthquake, and tsunami, that hit Indonesia AFIC held a fund raising campaign with its State & Territory Councils and members. We are pleased to advise that an amount of $20,000 has been sent through our member organisation,International Humanitarian Aid, to those in need on the ground. the First Nations Building on the initiative of the ICV in signing an Accord with the First Nations National Congress, the AFIC Federal Council passed a motion tabled by the Islamic Council of the Northern Territory, that AFIC, and the Muslim community, support the First Nations in their fight for justice and recognition as they have asked for in the Uluru Statement of the Heart. To speak out against oppression and support the fight for justice is a key part of our faith and it is incumbent on our community to support those who have, and continue, to be oppressed. We acknowledge that this land has, does and will always belong to the First Nations and that they were dispossessed of their land by force against their will. AFIC Halal Authority: continuing to re-engage internationally We continue the work of bringing our Halal service to world-class level.

As with AFIC itself, the AFIC Halal Authority (AHA) continues to undergo its own transformation program. In the last few years the greatest challenge faced by the AHA has been the withdrawal of accreditation in key overseas markets. There have been many reasons for this, including the overall challenges the organisation has faced as well as the failure to bring the management and operational systems in line with best practice certification bodies. We introduced a transformation program for the AHA earlier this year that has seen: • A new online system to

manage the end-toend certification process • A complete review of the entire operations to bring them in line with the relevant international standard for certification bodies • The recruitment and development of staff to ensure they have the skills, qualifications and experience to meet our commitment to the community This work has now been recognised by some of our key international partners who have re-engaged with AFIC allowing us to commence the process of re-accreditation. We have submitted our applications with both JAKIM, in Malaysia, and

MUI Indonesia and are well on our way to finalise these arrangements insha’Allah. In October senior personnel from JAKIM came to AFIC and conducted a weekend intensive training program that will soon be compulsory for all foreign certification bodies. At the same time MyHalal, the media arm of JAKIM, came to Australia and did a 1-hour program on the halal sector that was centered on the AFIC Halal Authority.

AFIC Calls for

Unity on Moon Sighting

The issue of how the Islamic Holy months are determined has been a growing area of fitnah and division in the Australian Muslim community. Muslims Australia – AFIC, for the first time, brought together religious leaders from across the country to share their views and perspectives on this important

issue. This public forum took place in Sydney on Sunday 13th of March. The intention of the Forum was not to reach an agreement on one position or another but to start a respectful public discussion on this important issue so that the general public can be better informed. Individually the speakers all had their

own views about this issue but there were three common themes that arose amongst them. These were: • That there is ikhtilaf on the fiqh issues that have been around for hundreds of years and people should not expect these to go away but it should not a cause of fitnah in the community. • That the Imams & Sheikhs should

concede the decision making process to a central authority with the consensus being that the decision should be made by ANIC and the process should be facilitated by AFIC. • Once a decision is made, regardless of our personal positions, we should accept the decision and follow it so that the community is united.

High level consultation of world muslim scholars Dr Rateb Jneid, together with 50 ulemas from various countries attended High Level Consultation of World Muslim Scholars on Wasatiyyat Islam in Bogor Indonesia on 1 May 2018 with Hon. Joko Widodo President of the Republic of Indonesia. The aim of the Conference, Indonesia would promote an Islam that was moderate and tolerant to the world.

The world muslim minorities summit of muslim religious leaders Muslims Australia AFIC was represented at the world muslim minorities summit of muslim religious leaders, in April 2085 in Istanbul with Hon, Recep Tayyip Erdogan President of Turkey and the Turkish Head of the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) Prof. Dr. Mehmet Görmez. The summit, conducted over four days, with 250 invitees from 100 different countries, undertook to foster and strengthen education, trade and economic ties.

Year 12 Graduation 2018 Recap

Al-Taqwa College farewells their Year 12 students at the 2018 Graduation Ceremony. We are extremely proud of all the award recipients and of each and every student who have completed this educational milestone. The auspicious event was held at Al-Taqwa College in a beautiful garden theme style Marquee on Wednesday 21st of November, 2018 filled with over 300 guests. It was a wonderful evening filled with many happy faces as the students took the stage to receive their awards and certificates.

Brother Warsame Bulhan did a wonderful job of reciting and translating the Quran. He also took the time to say a few wise words of encouragement. The MCs for the evening were Yarra Bakri and Stefanos Chrisoulis. There were also speeches by past Student, Sasha Ramahi and our school captains Ibrahim Bou’khalil & Reima Mesto. On behalf of Al-Taqwa College we would like to thank all VCE teachers, staff and students who worked extremely hard throughout the year. Inter School Sport Last week, selected students from Years 5 and Year 6 participated in the Islamic Schools Sporting Association’s Interschool Sports Carnival. The Carnival takes place over 3 days at Coburg Stadium and the student’s compete against other Islamic schools from around Melbourne in Basketball and Futsal. Both boys and girls teams did ICOM very proud, especially our girls teams who were crowned the overall champions winning both Futsal and Basketball competitions.

14 Apr National Muslim Youth Summit

The National Youth Summit is organised every 2 years for Muslim youth across Australia to engage in robust discussions on social, socio-political and religious viewpoints and the challenges

facing them in the current climate. This year the theme focused on leadership. Keynote speakers included Sarah ElAssaad, Deng Adut, Dawud Ilham and Jumaana Abdu. Round table discussions took place where young people had

a platform to discuss specific issues. Reports were written and information was collected and documented. The discussions formed the basis for future summits.

5 Oct Seeking Sacred Knowledge in Modern Times ISRA organised the event in collaboration with the Islamic Council of Queensland (ICQ) in Brisbane. The Panel included local and national speakers which consisted of academics and religious scholars. Some of the panellists were Associate Professor Mehmet Ozalp, Sheik Haisam Farache, Sheikh Ikram Buksh and Imam Ahmad Abu Ghazaleh. The panel was a fusion of experts from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne who shared their knowledge and perspectives on important issues. The panel addressed the value and importance of pursuing Islamic knowledge in modern times, including the challenges faced, particularly in relation to qualifications that should be sought and what type of knowledge is needed the most in contemporary times.

5 Dec VR Launch at the Islamic Museum of Australia The Islamic Museum of Australia in partnership with ISRA launched the Mecca to Marree, A Journey in Virtual Reality Experience at the IMA. The VR experience took the audience through a historical journey from the Mecca 650 to Australia 1885, following the development and spread of Islam through its humble beginnings to the ages of the Caliphs and to its arrival on the shores of Australia. The Well Project Team Exceeding their goal of $10,500, Year 12 students raised about $17,000 and all of the proceeds went straight to their social responsibility campaign of building wells in Cambodia and Tanzania.

• As 2018 comes to a close, we take the time to reflect on what an incredible year it has been for us here at Armani Restaurant. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Thank you to everyone who made our Gala Evening such a tremendous success. It was wonderful to see our campus come alive and the community come together in what can only be described as a spectacular evening. The Reach for the Stars Gala Evening

brought together sheikhs, Imams, school leaders, community leaders, staff, alumni, parents, family and friends on a warm, clear evening in Austral. With guests being ushered down the red carpet and treated to mocktails and canapes in a giant marquee under the stars, the College Board and Executive were thrilled with such a fitting tribute to such a notable milestone. The theme of the evening embodied not only the beautiful setting of the event,

‫بقلم د‪� .‬إبراهيم نويري‬ ‫كاتب وباحث جامعي ـــ الجزائر‬ ‫الم�سلمون في الم�شارق والمغارب ي�ؤمنون �إيمانا‬ ‫جازما ال ت�شـوبه �شائبة وال َيخْ رِ ُم �ألقه ٌّ‬ ‫�شك ب�أن‬ ‫�شخ�صية نبينا محمد بن عبد اهلل – �صلوات‬ ‫اهلل و�سالمه عليه ‪� -‬إنما هي �أج ُّل و�أعظم �شخ�صية درجت‬ ‫على ظهر الثرى‪ ،‬و�أعـظم �شخ�صية بزغ �ضيا�ؤها على دنيا‬ ‫النا�س فعرفها التاريخ الإن�سـاني واحتفظ لها في ذاكرته‬ ‫و�سجــالته ب�صفـحة نا�صعة متلألئة ال مفر �أبدا من الرجوع‬ ‫�إليها والإ�ستمداد منها والإهتداء بهديها واالئت�ساء ب�شمائلها‪.‬‬ ‫�إن ا�سم محمــد بن عبد اهلل كـان والي��زال و�سـيظل دائما‬ ‫و�أب��د ًا يمثل بحق ن��داء النجــدة لك ّل المظلومين والحيارى‬ ‫والمهمومين‪ ،‬و�ســيبقى قلبه الطــاهر ال�شريف مرف�أ لراحة‬ ‫المتعبين المكدودين من �أبناء الب�شــرية ممن تاهت بهم‬ ‫ال�ســبل وتفرقت بهم الم�سـالك والدروب فلم يهتدوا بع ُد �إلى‬ ‫معرفة هذا المرف�أ الآمن الحـاني الذي يمـدهم بالطـم�أنينة‬ ‫وي�شحن �أفئدتهم بالهدى والخير والبر والإح�سان‪ ،‬وي�ؤهل‬ ‫عزائمهم وي�صقلها كي تواجه �صعوبات الحياة و�أوهاقها‬ ‫المختلفة‪.‬‬ ‫فهـل مـا ن�ضفيه نحن الم�ســلمون على هذه ال�شخ�صـية الـفـذّة‬ ‫وهذا النبي الإن�سـان من خ�صال و�سمات ومعـالم وما تخـفق‬ ‫به قلوبنا نحوه من توقـير وتـبجيل‪ ،‬وما يـثوي فـي �أعماق‬ ‫�أفئدتنا تجاه �شخ�صه ور�سالته و�سيرته من حب وهيام وتعلق‬ ‫وائت�ساء‪ ..‬هو �أمر خا�ص بنا وحدنا من منطلق ديننا ومبعث‬ ‫�إيماننا بالر�سالة العظمى التي ب ّلغها هذا النبي الإن�سان عن‬ ‫ربه بكل �صدق و�أمانة؟ �أم �أن هناك َمن يلتقي معنا وي�شــاركنا‬ ‫الكثير من ه��ذه الم�شاعر الفيا�ضة والأحا�سي�س الغامرة‬ ‫النبيلة؟‪...‬‬ ‫�إن �أي مطلع على التراث الإن�ساني الفكري والأدبي والفل�سفي‬ ‫ونحوه يقع ب�صره على الكثير من �آراء ومقوالت عدد هائل‬ ‫من المن�صفين ممن قالوا كلمات م�شرقة من�صــفة في �إمام‬ ‫الأنبياء والمر�سلين – �صلوات اهلل و�سالمه عليه ‪ -‬وال �شك‬ ‫�أن الم�سلم ال�صــادق المـحب لنبيه ال ي�سـعه �إال �أن يحتفي‬ ‫ويـقدر ه��ؤالء النـا�س الذين �صـدرت عـنهم تـــلك الكلمات‬ ‫وال�شهادات‪� ..‬أو ًال لأن الإ�سالم نف�سه �أمرنا برد الح�سنى‬ ‫وعدم �إنكار الم�ســـالك الرا�شدة لأهــل الف�ضـل من الخالئق‪..‬‬ ‫وثاني ًا لأن ه ��ؤالء النا�س ال�شرفاء ترفعــوا عن التع�صـب‬ ‫المقيت‪ ،‬فجاءت كلماتهم تلك معبرة عن احترامهم المجرد‬ ‫ل�ضمائرهم ولحقائق التاريخ‪.‬‬ ‫ومـن �أبـرز هـ�ؤالء الأدب��اء العـالميـين الكـبار مـمن وقــفوا‬ ‫م�شـدوهين �أم ��ام �شخـ�صية �صاحب الر�سالة العظمى‬ ‫معجبين ومقـ ّدرين الأديب االنجليزي ال�شهـير” برنارد �شـو”‬ ‫م�ؤلـف كـتاب “الم�سيح لي�س مـ�سيحـيا“ فقد �أُثر عنه �شدة‬ ‫�إعجـابه بـهذا النبي الإن�سـان المتوا�ضع الذي كان يرقّع ثوبه‬ ‫ويخ�صـف نعله ويحـلب �شـاته وي�شارك �أزواجه �ش�ؤون البيت‬ ‫ويف�ضل �أن يقوم بنفـ�سه على �أعماله ورعاية ما في ذمته من‬ ‫تكاليف وواجبات وبرامج ‪ ...‬ومن هذا المنطلق نجد “ �شو”‬ ‫يقول‪ “ :‬لو حكم هذا العــالم رجـل كمحمد لق ّدم له الحلول‬ ‫لم�شكالته بل لفتح ك ّل م�ستغلق من �ش�ؤونه وفي وقت قريب‪”..‬‬

‫�أما رمز الأدب الألماني ال�شاعـر الكبـير” غوته “ فبلغ به‬ ‫العجـب �أق�صاه وهـو يقـر�أ القر�آن الكـريم‪ ،‬الكتاب الخالـد‬ ‫الذي يمـثـل الخـال�صة الأخـيرة لـلوحي الإلـهي وختـام النبوات‬ ‫الربانـية‪ ،‬وكان هذا الأديب يتحدث عن بع�ض �شمائل الر�سول‬ ‫الكريم– �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم– ومما لفت نظره بقوة في‬ ‫هذه ال�شمائل كيف كان ي�سير فـي الأ�سواق‪ ،‬وكيف كان يغ�شى‬ ‫المجال�س مذكّـر ًا بر�سـالة ربه‪ ،‬وكيف كان يعيـ�ش بين النا�س‬ ‫كواحد منهم بال �أ ّبهة وال �صولجان– وهـو �أمر مغاير تماما‬ ‫لـم�سالـك ملوك �أوروبـا–وكـيف نجح هذا النبي الإن�سان في‬ ‫تغيير الحياة البدوية البـ�سـيطة في جزيـرة العرب وتوحـيـد‬ ‫القبائل التي كـثيـر ًا ما ن�شـب القـتال بينها من �أجـل �سـباق‬ ‫لـلخيل �أو �أبيـات من ال�شـعـر ت�ضمنت هجا ًء �أو وعيد ًا‪ ..‬ومـن‬ ‫�شعر غوته الم�أثور في تمجيد هذا النبي الإن�سان قوله‪:‬‬ ‫“ بخـطوة قائـد ثابـت ‪..‬‬ ‫وتحـت وط�أة قـدمه‪..‬‬ ‫تنبت في الوادي زهـور‪..‬‬ ‫وتحـيا من �أنفا�سه زهور‪..‬‬ ‫ولكن ال ي�صده واد ظليل‪� ..“..‬إلخ‪..‬‬ ‫وقد �ألف غوته �أي�ضا ملحمة �شعـرية في �سـيرة ودعـوة النبي–‬ ‫�صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم‪ -‬عـر�ض فيها لـلكثير من مراحـل حياتـه‬ ‫وجهاده في �سبيل توطيد �أركان الر�سالة التي ُكلف بتبليغها‪.‬‬ ‫ومـن بيـن الأدب�ـ��اء العالـميـين الذين عبروا عـن ت�أثرهم‬ ‫ب�شخ�ص ور�سالة النبي الخـاتم �أديب رو�سيا الكبير “ ليون‬ ‫تولـ�ستوي” فقد �ألـف كـتابه “ ِحكم النـبي محمد “ ترجـمة‬ ‫لهذا الت�أثـر الذي ا�ستولى عـلى نفـ�سه‪ ..‬ومما قاله تول�ستوي‬ ‫ود ّون��ه بقلمه‪ “ :‬ال ريب �أن النبي محمدا من كبار الرجال‬ ‫الم�صلحين الذين خدموا الهيئة الإجتماعية خدمة جليلة‪،‬‬ ‫ويكـفيه فـخـرا �أنه هدى �أمة بـرمتها �إلى نور الحق وجعلها‬ ‫تجنح لل�سالم‪ ،‬وتكـف عـن �سفك الدمـاء‪ ..‬وفتح لها طريق‬ ‫ال��رق��ي وال�ت�ق��دم‪ ،‬وه��ذا عـمل عـظيم ال يقـوم ب��ه �إال رجل‬ ‫�أوتي �إرادة وحكمة وعلما‪� ..‬إن رج ًال مثله جدير باالحترام‬ ‫والإجالل”‪.‬‬ ‫ولعـله من الـمنـا�سـب �أن �أخـتم هذه المــراجعة العطـرة‬ ‫بما قرره الم�ؤلـف الأمريكي “ مايكـل هارت “ في كتابه “‬ ‫المائة‪ :‬تقـويم لأعـظم الـنا�س �أثـر ًا فـي التـاريخ” حيث جعل‬ ‫ر�سول اهلل – �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم‪� -‬أول هـ�ؤالء المائة الأكـثـر‬ ‫وعرف التاريخ‬ ‫تـ�أثـير ًا في تـاريخ الب�شرية منذ ُعرفت الحياة ُ‬ ‫‪ ...‬فنقر�أ له قوله‪”:‬لقد اخترت محمد ًا في �أول هذه القائمة‬ ‫وال بد �أن ينده�ش كثيرون لهذا االختيار‪ ،‬ولكن محمد ًا عليه‬ ‫ال�سالم هو الإن�سـان الوحيـد في التـاريخ الذي نجــح نجاحا‬ ‫مطـلقا ومتنا�سقا على الم�سـتوى الديني والدنـيوي معـ ًا‪...‬‬ ‫فـهـذا االمــتزاج بـين الـــدين والدنـيا هـــو الذي جعلـني �أ�ؤمـن‬ ‫ب�أن محـمـد ًا هـو �أعظم ال�شخ�صيات �أثر ًا في تاريخ الإن�سانية‬ ‫كلها “‪.‬‬ ‫� ّإن قـائمة �أ�صحاب تـلـك ال�شهادات واالعـترافات طويلة �إلى‬ ‫�أبعد الحدود فـمنهم مـثال “ فولتير “ و “ زيغـريد هونكة “ و‬ ‫“ ريـنـيه جينـو “ و “ �آن مـاري ديلكامير “ و “ �سيرجيونوجا‬ ‫“ و�آخرين كثيرين و من الجن�سين‪..‬‬ ‫ونحـن نحتفي ون�سعد دون ّ‬ ‫�شك كـلما كثر ه ��ؤالء الأدب��اء‬ ‫والكـُتاب مـن ذوي ال�ضمـائر ال�صـافية‪ ..‬ويظل ما قــاله‬ ‫ح�سان بن ثابت ر�ضي اهلل عنه في نب ّينا �صلـوات اهلل و�سالمه‬ ‫عليه �أف�ضل ما ُير ّدد في هذا المقام‪:‬‬ ‫خُ لقت مبر ًءا من كل عــيب ‪ ...‬ك�أنك قد خُ لقت كما ت�شـا ُء‬ ‫ف�أجمل منك لم ت َر ُّ‬ ‫قط عيني ‪ ...‬و�أف�ضل منك لم تلد‬ ‫الن�سا ُء‬ ‫فاللهم �ص ّل و�سلم وبارك على ر�سولنا الهادي الب�شير وعلى‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫�آله و�صحبه الأطهار‪.‬‬

‫بيان تحذيري هام‬ ‫للجالية اإلسالمية‬ ‫حول خدمات الرقية‬ ‫�إن مجل�س الأئمة الفدرالي الأ�سترالي ي�صدر هذا‬ ‫البيان التحذيري للجالية الإ�سالمية الأ�سترالية ب�ش�أن‬ ‫بع�ض المحتالين الذين‬ ‫يعملون حال ًيا في “الرقية “ بطريقة م�سيئة وغير �شرعية وال‬ ‫قانونية‪.‬‬ ‫علما ب�أن الرقية ال�شرعية �سنة ثابتة عن النبي محمد �صلى اهلل‬ ‫عليه و�سلم‪ ،‬وتُ�ستخدم لدفع ال�سحر والح�سد والعين وغيرها من‬ ‫الأمرا�ض البدنية والنف�سية‪ ،‬والأ�صل �أن يقوم بها الم�سلم بنف�سه‬ ‫طلبا لل�شفاء‪ ،‬ويمكن �أن يقر�أها له غيره من �أفراد �أ�سرته �أو غيرهم‬ ‫من �أهل ال�صالح‪.‬‬ ‫وقد ظهر م�ؤخرا من َي َّدعي االخت�صا�ص في عمل الرقية بق�صد‬ ‫العالج من ال�سحر والم�س والعين وغيرها من الأمرا�ض‪،‬‬ ‫ولذا يحذر مجل�س الأئمة الفدرالي اال�سترالي من الأمور التالية‪:‬‬ ‫ ال ُي�سمح للراقي �أثناء الرقية �أن يتعدى على المري�ض بال�ضرب‬‫�أو الخنق �أو وخ��زه بالإبر �أو حرقه بالنار �أو �سائر �أن��واع العنف‬ ‫الج�سدي‪.‬‬ ‫ ال ي�سمح للراقي �أن ي�ستغل حاجة المري�ض �إليه بالر�سوم المالية‬‫المفرطة‪ ،‬فالرقية نفع للمري�ض ولي�ست ا�ستغالال له‪.‬‬

‫رقية المرء‬ ‫نفسه أفضل‬ ‫“ف�إن الم�سلم �إذا ا�ستطاع �أن يرقي‬ ‫نف�سه‪ ،‬ف�لا �شك �أن ذل��ك �أف�ضل‪ ،‬فقد‬ ‫كان النبي �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم يرقي‬ ‫نف�سه‪ ،‬ففي �صحيح البخاري عن عائ�شة ر�ضي اهلل‬ ‫عنها قالت‪ :‬كان ر�سول اهلل �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم‬ ‫�إذا �أوى �إل��ى فرا�شه نفث في كفيه بــ‪ :‬قل هو اهلل‬ ‫�أح��د وبالمعوذتين جميعاً ثم يم�سح بهما وجهه‪،‬‬ ‫وما بلغت ي��داه من ج�سده‪ .‬رواه البخاري‪ ، .‬وقد‬ ‫روى ال�شيخان من حديث عائ�شة ر�ضي اهلل عنها‪:‬‬ ‫�أن النبي �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم كان �إذا ا�شتكى يقر�أ‬ ‫على نف�سه بالمعوذات وينفث‪ ،‬فلما ا�شتد وجعه‬ ‫كنت �أقر�أ عليه و�أم�سح عنه بيده رجاء بركتها‪”.‬‬ ‫الم�صدر‪:‬ا�سالم ويب‬

‫الم�سجد الأق�صى حزين‪ ،‬ي�ست�صرخ �أو�ضاعه‬ ‫العالم الإ�سالمي‪ ،‬الم�سجد الأق�صى بح �صوته‬ ‫َ‬ ‫وهو ينادي ب�أعلى �صوته من �أجل الح�ضور �إليه‪،‬‬ ‫�إمتثاال لقوله �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم عن ميمونة‬ ‫موالة النبي �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم قالت‪ “ :‬قلت‬ ‫يا ر�سول اهلل‪� :‬أفتنا في بيت المقد�س”‪ ،‬قال‪:‬‬ ‫“�أر�ض المح�شر والمن�شر‪ ،‬ائتوه ف�صلوا فيه‪ ،‬ف�إن‬ ‫�صالة فيه ك�ألف �صالة في غيره‪ ،‬قلت‪� :‬أر�أيت �إن‬ ‫لم �أ�ستطع �أن �أتحمل �إليه؟ قال‪ :‬فتهدي له زيتا‬ ‫ي�سرج فيه‪ ،‬فمن فعل فهو كمن �أتاه”‪.‬‬ ‫رواه �أحمد و�أبو داود‪ .‬وعندما �س�أل �أحد ال�صحابة‬ ‫بقوله‪� :‬إن ابتلينا يا ر�سول اهلل من بعدك‪ ،‬ف�أين‬ ‫نتوجه؟ قال عليكم ببيت المقد�س و�أكناف بيت‬ ‫المقد�س‪ ،‬لعل اهلل يجعل لكم ذرية تغدو وتروح‬ ‫�إليه‪� ،‬أو كما قال �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم‪ .‬وقد ثبت‬ ‫عنه �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم �أن الم�سجد االق�صى‪،‬‬ ‫ه��و �أح��د الم�ساجد ال�ت��ي ت�شد �إليها ال��رح��ال‪.‬‬ ‫وقبل هذا وذاك فقد ذكره اهلل �سبحانه وتعالى‬ ‫في كتابه الكريم في �سورة الإ��س��راء ُ�س ْب َح َان‬ ‫ا َل ِّذي �أَ ْ�س َرى ِب َع ْب ِد ِه َل ْيلاً ِم َن ا ْل َم ْ�سجِ ِد ال َْح َر ِام ِ�إ َلى‬ ‫الق َْ�صى ا َل ِّذي َبا َر ْكنَا َح ْو َل ُه ِل ُنرِ َي ُه ِم ْن‬ ‫ا ْل َم ْ�سجِ ِد َْ أ‬ ‫ال�س ِمي ُع ا ْل َب ِ�صير كما خ�ص اهلل‬ ‫و‬ ‫ه‬ ‫�آَ َيا ِتنَا ِ�إ َّن��ه ُ َ َّ‬ ‫الم�سجد الأق�صى بالرحمة والمكانة‪ ،‬رغم وجود‬ ‫من يحاول �أن يعتدي عليه‪ ،‬ويثير الم�شاكل فيه‪،‬‬ ‫ولكن في واقع الأمر كل تلك المحاوالت لي�س لها‬ ‫�أثرا ال من قبل وال من بعد‪ .‬فالم�سجد هو رحمة‬ ‫للعالمين‪ ،‬ولو لم يكن كذلك لما �أ�سرى اهلل بعبده‬ ‫ليال من الم�سجد الحرام �إلى الم�سجد الأق�صى‬ ‫الذي بارك اهلل من حوله‪ ،‬لي�س هذا فح�سب بل‬ ‫عرج بنبيه �إلى ال�سماوات �سماء ف�سماء‪� ،‬إلى �أن‬ ‫و�صل �إلى �سدرة المنتهى‪ ،‬لذا ف�إن بيت المقد�س‬ ‫هو بيت ال�سماء الأولى‪.‬‬ ‫في بيت المقد�س تجذر الم�سلمون منذ العهد‬ ‫العمري �أو قبله‪ .‬وعندما ج��اء الخليفة‪ /‬عمر‬ ‫اب��ن ال�خ�ط��اب‪ ،‬وت�سلم المدينة م��ن البطريك‬ ‫(�صفرونيو�س)‪ ،‬وح��ان وق��ت ال��ص�لاة‪ ،‬رف�ض‬ ‫الخليفة عمر �إبن الخطاب ال�صالة في كني�سة‬ ‫القيامة‪ ،‬ابتعد قليال منها بخطوات‪ ،‬ف�صلى‪،‬‬ ‫ثم �أتى بيت المقد�س وبد�أ في تنظيفه‪ ،‬كما �أن�ش�أ‬ ‫بالمدينة الطيبة الم�سجد الأول‪ ،‬ثم تولت الأمم‬ ‫و�سائر البالد على �إعمار الم�سجد الأق�صى‪ .‬كان‬ ‫الإعمار الثاني في العهد الأم��وي‪ ،‬وتحديدا في‬ ‫عهد ال�سيدين‪ /‬ه�شام �إب��ن عبد الملك‪ ،‬و عبد‬ ‫الملك ابن مروان‪ ،‬وتوالت عمارة الم�سجد حتى‬ ‫تم طالء قبة الم�سجد بماء الذهب؛ تعبيرا عن‬ ‫مكانة الم�سجد في الإ��س�لام‪ ،‬و�إظ�ه��را العمارة‬ ‫اال�سالمية‪ .‬وهنا ال يفوتني �أن �أت�ق��دم ب�أ�سمى‬ ‫عبارات ال�شكر للمملكة الأردنية الها�شمية‪ ،‬حيث‬ ‫تقوم ب��الإ��ش��راف على عمارة المكان ال�شريف‬ ‫و�إدارت��ه‪ ،‬وتعيين الموظفين �ضمن اخت�صا�صات‬ ‫دائ��رة الأوق ��اف الإ�سالمية في بيت المقد�س‪،‬‬ ‫وذلك تنفيذا لتعليمات جاللة الملك عبد الثاني‬ ‫حفظه اهلل‪.‬‬ ‫ما هي �أ�سباب ح�صر دور المملكة الأردنية‬

‫�أو بعبارة �أخرى‪ ،‬هل ي�ستطيع هذا الزمان تغيير‬ ‫�آالف ال�سنين؟ �أكتفي بهذا القدر من الإجابة‪.‬‬

‫دعوتم �إلى زيارة الأق�صى‪ ،‬ولكن هناك من يرى في الزيارة كما لو �أنها‬ ‫اعترافا �ضمنيا بدولة الكيان الإ�سرائيلي ودعما غير مبا�شر له؟‬ ‫هذا �س�ؤال هام جدا وقيم في ذات الوقت‪ .‬بقدومنا �إلى الأق�صى نحن‬ ‫ن�أتي �إلى ال�سجن ولي�س �إلى ال�سجان! نحن ن�أتي �إلى بيت المقد�س‬ ‫ب�إ�شارة لطيفة من حبيبنا ر�سول اهلل �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم‪ ،‬وال ن�أتي‬ ‫�إلى االحتالل؛ لأن االحتالل عمره قد بد�أ في عام ‪( 1967‬ال حول وال‬ ‫قوة �إال باهلل)‪ ،‬ومنذ ذلك التاريخ ماجرى ويجري لبيت المقد�س �أمر‬ ‫جائر وجلل‪ ،‬ولكن �سي�أتي اليوم الذي يزول فيه هذا االحتالل‪ ،‬وينجلي‬ ‫الكابو�س والغمة التي تغطي �أكنافه‪ .‬الزيارة �إلى بيت المقد�س‪ ،‬ت�أتي من‬ ‫�أهمية وقد�سية المكان لدى الم�سلمين‪ ،‬بالتالي ف�إن القدوم �إليه ت�أتي في‬ ‫�إطار تنفيذ تعاليم دينية �صرفة ولي�س دعما لالحتالل �أو غيره‪ .‬المجيء‬ ‫ال يعني القدوم تحت �سيف االحتالل �أو راية االحتالل‪ .‬وهناك كثير‬ ‫من علماء الأمة قد �أفتوا بواجب الزيارة �إمتثاال كما قلت �إلى الأدلة‬ ‫ال�شرعية الثابتة ثبوت العين‪ .‬هذا المكان ال يخ�ص غيرنا‪ ،‬يخ�صنا نحن‬ ‫المل�سمين‪ ،‬نحن نلج�أ �إلى هذا المكان؛ لأنه المكان المبارك‪ ،‬كما �أنه يمثل‬ ‫هويتنا اال�سالمية‪ ،‬ومهما جرى ويجري لبيت المقد�س‪ ،‬ال بد �أن ي�أتي‬ ‫النهار وتنك�شف الغمة ب�إذن اهلل تعالى‪.‬‬

‫الها�شمية ف��ق��ط ف��ي رع��اي��ة و�إ��ش��راف‬ ‫الم�سجد الأق�صى والمقد�سيات؟‬ ‫كما قلت ال بد من تقديم واجب ال�شكر والتقدير‬ ‫لما تقوم به المملكة الأردن�ي��ة الها�شمية ب�ش�أن‬ ‫ال��رع��اي��ة والإ��ش��راف للم�سجد الأق��ص��ى‪ .‬فقد‬ ‫درج��ت منذ �سنين على خدمة ورع��اي��ة ورف��ادة‬ ‫وو�صاية المقد�سات �إ�سالمية كانت �أو م�سيحية‪.‬‬ ‫�إن يدا واح��دة لي�ست كافية للقيام بذلك‪ ،‬علما‬ ‫�أن م�س�ؤولية حماية ورعاية الم�سجد الأق�صى‪،‬‬ ‫لي�ست ح�صريا على المقد�سيين �أو الفل�سطينيين‬ ‫وح��ده��م‪ .‬ح�م��اي��ة الأق �� ص��ى ه��ي م��س��ؤول�ي��ة كل‬ ‫الم�سلمين في �أنحاء المعمورة‪ ،‬ومن هنا �أنا�شد‬ ‫الأم��ة الإ�سالمية ب�ضرورة المحافظة والرعاية‬ ‫لذاك المكان الطاهر المقد�س‪� ،‬سيما و�أن �ضياع‬ ‫المكان ال قدر اهلل‪ ،‬يعني �ضياع القد�س و�ضياع‬ ‫فل�سطين‪ ،‬الق�ضية المركزية للأمة اال�سالمية‪.‬‬ ‫م �ج��ددا �أزج� ��ي للمملكة الأردن� �ي ��ة الها�شمية‬ ‫التقدير‪ ،‬فهي م�شكورة لجهودها الجبارة فيما‬ ‫يخ�ص �ش�أن القد�س والمقد�سيين‪ ،‬ون��أم��ل من‬ ‫جميع الأمة اال�سالمية �أن تحذوا حذوها وتقدم‬ ‫ما يمكن تقديمه من �أجل بيت المقد�س و�أكناف‬ ‫بيت المقد�س‪.‬‬

‫(الو�سط) ا�ستو�ضحت �سماحته عن موقفه‬ ‫من �سيا�سة التطبيع التي تجري على قدم‬ ‫و�ساق م��ؤخ��را؟ في �إجابته ق��ال �أعفني عن‬ ‫ه��ذا ال �� س ��ؤال‪ ،‬ول�ك�ن��ه ع�ل��ق ب��ال�ق��ول‪ ( :‬لقد‬ ‫علمني �شيوخي رحمهم اهلل‪� ،‬أن ال�سيا�سي‬ ‫ه��و م��ن ي�سو�س الخي َل‪ ،‬و�أن��ا هنا ال �أ�سو�س‬ ‫الخي َل)‪.‬‬ ‫ظهرت وزي��رة الثقافة اال�سرائلية في‬ ‫�إحدى المهرجانات م�ؤخرا‪ ،‬وهي ترتدي‬ ‫ف�ستانا ر�سم فيه الم�سجد الأق�صى وقبة‬ ‫ال�صخرة والقد�س من خلفه‪ ،‬ما هي دالالت‬ ‫مثل تلك التظاهرة بالن�سبة لكم �أنتم‬ ‫كمقد�سيين‪ ،‬وكيف تقر�ؤون انعكا�ساتها‬ ‫على م�شاعر الم�سلمين؟‬ ‫دالالتها وا�ضحة! لقد �سرق الكيان كل �شيء‪� .‬سرق‬ ‫الأر� ��ض! وال�شجر! والحجر! والب�شر! والزيت!‬ ‫و�أنواع الطعام! والزيتون! يحاول �سرقة كل �شيء‬ ‫حتى الحقيقة والعقيدة! كل �شيء ن�سبوه �إليهم‪،‬‬ ‫ولكن هل ي�ستطيع هذا الزمان بكل ما يعني من‬ ‫داللة تغيير‪ ،‬ما لم ت�ستطع تغييره مئات ال�سنين؟‬

‫نقل عا�صمة دول��ة الكيان �إل��ى القد�س‬ ‫هل �سيغير �شيئا في المعادلة والمفاهيم‬ ‫ال�سائدة لدى العقل الإ�سالمي والعربي؟‬ ‫ما يدور على ال�ساحة عموما‪ ،‬هو مجرد بالونات‬ ‫ف��ارغ��ة‪ .‬ك��ل م��ا ي�ج��ري ال ول��ن ت��ؤت��ي �أكلها ولن‬ ‫ي�ك��ون لها نفعا لأي �أح ��د‪ ،‬رغ��م م��ا ي �ت��ردد في‬ ‫و��س��ائ��ل الإع �ل�ام هنا وه �ن��اك‪ .‬نعم ق��د ت�ؤجج‬ ‫النيران‪ ،‬وت�شاهد �أعمال تخالف ديننا ومبدءنا‬ ‫وعقيدتنا‪ ،‬علما ب�أننا ال نكره اليهود ولكن نكره‬ ‫العمل الباطل الذي يقومون به‪ ،‬وهو ما ي�ؤدي �إلى‬ ‫خ�سارة المجتمع برمته‪ ،‬م�صداقا لقوله �صلى‬ ‫اهلل عليه و�سلم‪(:‬من عادا لي ذميا‪ ،‬فقد �آذنته‬ ‫بالحرب) �أو كما قال‪ .‬ه�ؤالء �أهل كتاب‪ ،‬لكن ما‬ ‫ي�صدر عنهم �أو عن غيرهم من بع�ض الم�أ�سلمين‬ ‫الذين يدعون الإ�سالم‪ ،‬كل هذا ي�سيء للجميع‪.‬‬ ‫نحن دعاة �أمن و�سالم ومحبة‪ ،‬لأجل هذا نحن‬ ‫م�أمورون �أن نحيي الأر�ض‪ ،‬و�أن الأر�ض هلل يورثها‬ ‫من ي�شاء من عباده ال�صالحين‪� .‬أنظر �إلى تاريخ‬ ‫القد�س مفاهيم عدة و�صلت �إلى مدينة القد�س‬ ‫�أي��ن هي الآن؟ لم يبق منها �شيئا(ف�أما الزبد‬ ‫فيذهب جفاء و�أم��ا ما ينفع النا�س فيمكث في‬ ‫الأر�ض) �صدق اهلل العظيم‪.‬هذه هي حقيقة اهلل‬ ‫في �أر�ضه‪.‬‬ ‫ماهي الر�سالة التي تودون توجيهها �إلى‬ ‫الأمة الإ�سالمية عبر هذا الحوار؟‬ ‫كل م�سلم في �أنحاء المعمورة هو �سفير للإ�سالم‪،‬‬ ‫بالتالي عليه �إظ�ه��ار ال��وج��ه الحقيقي النا�صع‬ ‫الجميل لدينه الحنيف‪ .‬علينا �أن نقدم المفهوم‬ ‫ال�صحيح لديننا وعقيدتنا‪ ،‬و�أن ال نعمل عمال‬ ‫يخالف �شرعنا الإ��س�لام��ي‪ .‬نحن �أم��ة و�سطا‪،‬‬ ‫ومجلتكم هي (الو�سط)‪ .‬وقد ذكر اهلل �سبحانه‬ ‫وتعالى هذه الو�سطية في كتابه الكريم‪ ،‬و�أكد �أننا‬ ‫�شهداء على العالمين‪ .‬من هنا علينا �أن نبتغي‬ ‫الرحمة والخير للعالمين لكل الخلق‪ .‬علينا �أن‬ ‫نن�شر حقيقة الإ� �س�لام ال��داع��ي �إل��ى الت�سامح‬ ‫والمحبة والخير للجميع‪ .‬ديننا ي�أمرنا بذلك‪،‬‬ ‫بالتالي فهو واج��ب علينا جميعا‪ ،‬مثل وج��وب‬ ‫ال�صلوات المفرو�ضة على كل م�سلم وم�سلمة‪.‬‬ ‫ال��دع��وة �إل ��ى اهلل م�ط�ل��وب��ة‪ ،‬ول �ك��ن بالح�سنى‬ ‫وبال�سالم‪ .‬نعم نقدر الم�سلمين في �إ�سالمهم‬ ‫كما نقدر �أهل الكتاب في �إيمانهم‪ ،‬ولكن نحب‬ ‫لهم �أن ي�ؤمنوا باهلل ور�سوله‪ ،‬بالتي هي �أح�سن‬ ‫وبتقديم ال�ق��دوة الح�سنة‪ .‬نريد �أن نحييا معا‬ ‫ونعمل معا ونعي�ش �سوية في ه��ذه الأر��ض التي‬ ‫نحن م�ستخلفين فيها‪ .‬لنا �شرف عظيم �أن نلتقي‬ ‫بالإخوة في الدين والإن�سانية والقراء الكرام عبر‬ ‫مجلتكم (الو�سط)‪ ،‬ونرجو �أن يجمعنا اهلل في‬ ‫ٍ‬ ‫وحمد‪.‬‬ ‫بيت المقد�س ن�ؤدي �صال َة �شكرٍ‬

‫ المسجد األقصى حزين! يستصرخ العالمَ‬‫اإلسالمي‪ ،‬ويدعو إلى لزيارته ولكن!!‬ ‫ نحن دعاة أمن وسالم ومحبة ومأمورون بإحياء‬‫األرض التي يورثها ا ُ‬ ‫هلل من يشاء‪.‬‬ ‫ كل مسلم في أنحاء المعمورة سفيرا لدينه‪،‬‬‫وعليه إظهار الوجه الحقيقي لإلسالم‪.‬‬ ‫ ما يجري في بيت المقدس جور وظلم‪ ،‬وسيأتي‬‫اليوم الذي تتالشى فيه أسوار االحتالل!!‬

‫الم�سجد الأق�صى �أولى القبلتين‪ ،‬وثالث‬ ‫الحرمين ال�شريفين‪ ،‬وم�سرى �سيدنا محمد‬ ‫�صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم‪ .‬ذكره ُ‬ ‫اهلل في كتابه‬ ‫الكريم بقوله « ُ�س ْب َحا َن ا َّل ِذي �أَ ْ�س َرى ِب َع ْب ِد ِه َل ْيلاً ِمنَ‬ ‫الَ ْق َ�صى ا َّل ِذي َبا َر ْكنَا‬ ‫ا ْل َم ْ�سجِ ِد ا ْل َح َرا ِم �إِ َلى ا ْل َم ْ�سجِ ِد ْ أ‬ ‫ال�س ِمي ُع ا ْل َب ِ�صير ُ»‪� .‬أي�ضا‬ ‫َح ْو َل ُه ِل ُن ِر َي ُه ِمنْ �آَ َيا ِتنَا �إِ َنّه ُه َو َّ‬ ‫هو �أحد الم�ساجد الثالثة التي تُ�شد �إليها الرحال‪،‬‬ ‫بعد الم�سجد الحرام بمكة المكرمة‪ ،‬والم�سجد النبوي‬ ‫ال�شريف بالمدينة المنورة‪ .‬وقد ورد في حديث نبينا‬ ‫ال�سيرة الذاتية لف�ضيلتكم؟‬ ‫�أن��ا م��ن مواليد مدينة القد�س‪� ،‬أع�م��ل مراقبا‬ ‫ومفت�شا لم�ساجد القد�س بالمدينة القديمة‪.‬‬ ‫وق��د �شرفنا اهلل �سبحانه وتعالى بالن�سب لآل‬ ‫بيت ال�ن�ب��وة‪ ،‬بيت ر��س��ول اهلل �صلى اهلل عليه‬ ‫و�سلم‪ .‬يعود ن�سبنا �إلى الإمام الح�سين �إبن علي‬ ‫ك��رم اهلل وجهه ور�ضي اهلل عنه‪ .‬عائلتنا تقيم‬ ‫بمدينة القد�س و�أكنافها قبل �أكثر من ‪ 600‬عاما‪،‬‬ ‫تربينا كابرا عن كابر في القد�س وم��ا حولها‪.‬‬ ‫ونحمده �أن تلقينا العلوم ال�شرعية‪ ،‬وجعلنا خدما‬ ‫لم�ساجد القد�س ال�شريف‪ .‬يوجد ما يزيد عن‬ ‫‪ 35‬م�سجدا �شعائرها قائمة بحمد اهلل رغم كل‬ ‫ال �ظ��روف‪ .‬يعود بناء تلك الم�ساجد للفترات‬ ‫العمرية والأيوبية والمملوكية‪ ،‬كما يوجد خارج‬ ‫المدينة �أكثر من ‪ 100‬م�سجدا‪ ،‬تُ�شرف عليها‬ ‫دائرة الأوقاف الإ�سالمية وتقوم بتقديم الرعاية‬ ‫الكاملة لها وعلى ر�أ�سها الم�سجد الأق�صى‪.‬‬ ‫ما هي طبيعة زيارة �سماحكتم لأ�ستراليا‪،‬‬ ‫وكيف وج��دت��م ح��ال الأم��ة الإ�سالمية‬ ‫هنا؟‬ ‫�أزور ه��ذه ال�ق��ارة الهامة لأول م��رة‪ ،‬وتحديدا‬

‫الإ�سالمية �إزاء ذلك؟ طبيعة زيارته و�أكثر ما ا�ستوقفه‬ ‫محمد ب�أن بناءه كان بعد بناء الكعبة ب�أربعين عا ًما‪.‬‬ ‫ب�ش�أن الم�سلمين في ا�ستراليا؟ ر�أيه في زيارة الم�سلمين‬ ‫عن �أبي ذر �أنه قال‪« :‬قلت‪ :‬يا ر�سول اهلل! �أي م�سجد‬ ‫و�ضع في الأر�ض �أوال؟ قال‪ :‬الم�سجد الحرام‪ ،‬قلت‪ :‬ثم للم�سجد الأق�صى في الوقت الراهن؟ ر�سالته �إلى الأمة‬ ‫الإ�سالمية والم�سلمين ب�أ�ستراليا تحديدا؟ انعكا�سات‬ ‫�أي؟ قال‪ :‬الم�سجد الأق�صى‪ .‬قلت‪ :‬كم بينهما؟ قال‪:‬‬ ‫نقل العا�صمة الإ�سرائيلية �إلى القد�س ال�شريف؟ �أ�سباب‬ ‫�أربعون �سنة‪� .‬صدق ر�سول اهلل‪.‬‬ ‫ح�صر دور المملكة الأردنية الها�شمية في م�س�ألتي‬ ‫(الو�سط) ا�ست�ضافت ف�ضيلة ال�شيخ مازن عبد الغني‬ ‫�أهرام‪� ،‬أحد �أئمة م�ساجد الأق�صى ال�شريف‪� ،‬أثناء زيارته رعاية و�إ�شراف م�ساجد الأق�صى فقط ال غير؟ هذه‬ ‫وغيرها من المحاور‪ ،‬كانت في �صلب اللقاء مع ف�ضيلة‬ ‫االخيرة لأ�ستراليا‪.‬‬ ‫تحدث ب�ش�أن‪� :‬أو�ضاع الأق�صى وم�ساجده وموقف الأمة ال�شيخ‪ ،‬ف�إلى ح�صيلة الحوار‪:‬‬

‫مدينتي ملبورن و�سدني‪ .‬و�صلت �أ�ستراليا تلبية‬ ‫لدعوة كريمة قدمتها لي منظمة (�سالم في�ست)‬ ‫ل�ه��ا خ��ال��ص ال��ش�ك��ر وال �ت �ق��دي��ر‪ .‬ف�ق��د �سعدت‬ ‫باللقاءات التي �أجريتها مع جهات ع��دة‪ .‬حيث‬ ‫وج��دت ف��ي والي��ة فكتوريا وال��والي��ات الأخ ��رى‪،‬‬ ‫مجتمعا كريما و�أه�لا طيبا‪ ،‬وجاليات �إ�سالمية‬ ‫تتم�سك بدينها وقيمها ال�سمحة النبيلة‪ .‬زرت‬ ‫ع ��ددا م��ن ال�م�ع��ال��م ال �ه��ام��ة‪ ،‬م�ث��ل ال�ج��ام�ع��ات‬ ‫وال �م �ك �ت �ب��ات وال� �م ��دار� ��س وال��م��راك��ز العلمية‬

‫والبرلمان اال�سترالي بمدينة �سدني‪ ،‬كما تحدثت‬ ‫�إل��ى عدد من �أع�ضائه‪ .‬وقفت على ما ي��دور في‬ ‫الأروق��ة المختلفة خا�صة ما يهم �أمر الم�سلمين‬ ‫ف��ي ه��ذه ال �ب�لاد الطيبة‪ .‬لقد �أم�ضيت قرابة‬ ‫�أ�سبوع بالمدينة‪ ،‬حتى �أكرمني اهلل ب�أداء �صالة‬ ‫الجمعة في �أكبر المراكز هناك‪ ،‬وقد خطبت في‬ ‫الم�صلين وقمت ب�إمامتهم‪ .‬على نف�س المنوال‬ ‫زرت عددا من المراكز الإ�سالمية والجامعات‬ ‫والمدار�س بمدينة ملبورن‪ ،‬وقد �شاهدت في هذه‬

‫المدينة ما �سر عيني كزائر م�سلم‪ .‬حيث يتمتع‬ ‫الم�سلم بااللتزام والخلق النبيل على امتداد هذه‬ ‫البالد الطيبة التي تكفل حرية العبادة والتدين‬ ‫لكل الإثنيات والقوميات الوافدة �إليها‪ .‬الكل هنا‬ ‫واح��د مت�ساوي‪ ،‬يعي�ش وي�سير في نظام واحد‪،‬‬ ‫هدفه خدمة الإن�سان في �أمنه وحياته‪.‬‬ ‫و�أكون �أكثر �صراحة‪ ،‬هناك �أمور �إيجابية رائعة‬ ‫وعظيمة للجاليات الم�سلمة‪ ،‬حيث تلتقي مع‬ ‫بع�ضها البع�ض وتتعاون فيما بينها على البر‬ ‫والتقوى و الخير و�أداء �أمانة الدين والعقيدة‪.‬‬ ‫لكن مع ذلك‪ ،‬هناك ما ي�ؤ�سف له‪ ،‬وهي �أن بع�ضا‬ ‫من الجاليات ال تولي تعليم �أبنائها اللغة العربية‬ ‫بالم�ستوى المطلوب‪ .‬وما ينبغي عليها معرفته‬ ‫�أن تعلم وتعليم اللغة العربية لي�س فقط لذاتها‪،‬‬ ‫ولكن تعلمها وتعليمها م�أمورون به �شرعا؛ حيث‬ ‫ال عبادة بغيرها‪ ،‬وتدبر وقراءة كتاب اهلل الكريم‬ ‫بها �أمر في غاية الأهمية‪ .‬و�أملي في الجالية كبير‬ ‫لإيالء هذه الم�س�ألة االهتمام المطلوب‪.‬‬ ‫�أو�ضاع الم�سجد الأق�صى �أولى القبلتين‪،‬‬ ‫وث��ال��ث ال��ح��رم��ي��ن ال�شريفين وم�سرى‬ ‫الم�صطفى �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم‪ ،‬ماذا �أنتم‬ ‫قائلون ف�ضيلة ال�شيخ؟‬

‫ن��ب��ي��ن��ا‬ ‫وال��ش��ب��اب‬ ‫النبي ه��و ال�شخ�ص الأك�ث��ر �أهمية‬ ‫ال��ذي يجب �أن يكون مثاال ف��ي كل‬ ‫مجال من مجاالت حياة الم�سلمين‪.‬‬ ‫ي�أمر القر�آن الم�سلمين ب�أن ي�ؤمنوا به‪ ،‬ويحبوه‪.‬‬ ‫يكاد يكون م��ن الم�ستحيل فهم الإ� �س�لام دون‬ ‫معرفته ومعرفة حياته‪.‬‬ ‫محمد عليه ال��س�لام ه��و م��ؤ��س��س الح�ضارة‬ ‫الإ�سالمية اي�ضا‪ .‬وهو (عليه ال�سالم) قد اقترح‬ ‫حلو ًال جديدة و�إ�سالمية و�إن�سانية جد ًا لكل جانب‬ ‫من جوانب الحياة‪.‬‬ ‫ولكن لم يكن هذا �سه ًال لما كان من المفتر�ض‬ ‫جديدا‪ ,‬بل كانت هناك �صراعات‬ ‫�أن يبني مجتم ًعا ً‬ ‫مختلفة مع مختلف قطاع المجتمع‪.‬‬ ‫دع��ى النبي (�صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم) ك��ل جزء‬ ‫تقريب ًا م��ن المجتمع �إل��ى الإ� �س�لام منذ بداية‬ ‫واجبه التبليغ دون �أن يفرق بين رجل وام��ر�أة‪،‬‬ ‫�شاب وعجوز‪ ،‬غني وفقير‪ ،‬حر وعبد؛ وكان هناك‬ ‫َم��ن ا�سلم ِم��ن كل طبقة تقريبا في مكة‪ .‬لكن‬ ‫الميزة الأكثر تميزًا لأولئك الذين دخلوا الإ�سالم‬ ‫في بداية فترة مكة �أنهم �شباب في الثالثينيات‪.‬‬ ‫ر�أى محمد عليه ال�سالم �أعظم دعم �أثناء بناء‬ ‫المجتمع الجديد من ه ��ؤالء ال�شباب‪ .‬ال�شباب‬ ‫الذين كونوا الطبقة االبتكارية والمثالية والحيوية‬ ‫مثل ما �ساهموا انت�شار اال�سالم ب�شكل كبير في‬ ‫فترات الحقة‪ ،‬خدموا اي�ضا في مختلف المجاالت‬ ‫البيروقراطية مثل الرئي�س والمحافظ والقا�ضي‬ ‫والدبلوما�سي والمعلم‪.‬‬ ‫ك��ان النبي محمد �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم طول‬ ‫حياته مت�شاب ًكا دائ�م� ًا م��ع ال�شباب وح��اول �أن‬ ‫يعلمهم باالهتمام وال�صبر‪ .‬لقد ا�س�س هو (�صلى‬ ‫اهلل عليه و�سلم) عنه تعليمه ال�شباب لغة ات�صال‬ ‫�صحيحة وم�ؤثرة‪ .‬حذر ال�شباب من وقت لآخر‪،‬‬ ‫ولكن لم يجرحهم اب��دا‪ .‬ا�ستمع بعناية �إل��ى كل‬ ‫�س�ؤال وم�شكلة لهم وح��اول الح�صول على الثقة‬ ‫بالنف�س من خالل منحهم �إجابات مر�ضية‪.‬‬ ‫�أع �ط��ى ال�ن�ب��ي �أه�م�ي��ة ك�ب�ي��رة لتعليم وت��دري��ب‬ ‫ال�شباب‪ .‬نبينا الذي كان يعرف جيدا �أن ال�شباب‬ ‫�سيديرون المجتمع ف��ي الم�ستقبل ق��ام ببناء‬

‫م�ؤ�س�سة التعليم العالي با�سم «� ُ��ص� َّف��ة» جانب‬ ‫الم�سجد النبوي لتعليم ال�شباب؛ ربى ووظف في‬ ‫هذه الم�ؤ�س�سة الأ�شخا�ص الذين �سي�ستخدمهم‬ ‫في الطرق البروقراطية للدولة مثل المعلمين‬ ‫والر�سل والأئمة والهاديون والق�ضاة‪.‬‬ ‫اه�ت��م النبي ب��أف�ك��ار ال�شباب اي�ضا اهتماما‬ ‫كبيرا‪ .‬ل��م ينتقد �أو ي�ستخف بال�شباب الذين‬ ‫جا�ؤوا اليه ب�أفكار جديدة‪ .‬ا�ست�شار ال�شباب في‬ ‫الم�شاورات عندما كان في طريقه �إلى الحرب‬ ‫وطبق اقتراحاتهم‪ .‬اقتراح المعركة ال�ضارية قبل‬ ‫«معركة احد» كان للأ�صباح ال�شباب الذين لم‬ ‫يقدروا اال�شتراك بمعركة بدر‪.‬‬

‫�أعطى النبي �أهمية كبيرة‬ ‫لتعليم وتدريب ال�شباب‪ .‬نبينا‬ ‫الذي كان يعرف جيدا �أن‬ ‫ال�شباب �سيديرون المجتمع في‬ ‫الم�ستقبل قام ببناء م�ؤ�س�سة‬ ‫«�صفَّة»‬ ‫التعليم العالي با�سم ُ‬ ‫جانب الم�سجد النبوي لتعليم‬ ‫ال�شباب‬ ‫وق��د غلب النبي بع�ض ال�صعوبات والم�شاكل‬ ‫التي ا�صابته في فترات مختلفة بدعم ال�شباب‪.‬‬ ‫النبي �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم ا�ستمر في التبليغ في‬ ‫ال�سنوات ال�صعبة من فترة مكة في بيت �أ ْرقَم بن‬ ‫�أبي الأرقم من الأ�صحاب‪ ،‬وفي معركة الخندق‬ ‫ا�ستعان بال�شباب في خفر الخندق وفي معركة‬ ‫حنين ا�ستلم وظيفة حمايته �شباب مثل ُا َ�س َامة‬ ‫وف َْ�ضل و َا ْي َمن‪.‬‬ ‫كما ه��و م�ع��روف‪ ،‬ف ��إن ال�شباب لديهم الإث��ارة‬ ‫والديناميكية والمهارات الج�سدية التي يمكن‬

‫�أن تحل العديد من الم�شاكل‪ .‬ي�ستطيع ال�شباب‬ ‫بالقدرة على تحقيق نجاح كبير عندما يتم منحهم‬ ‫الفر�صة‪� .‬إن النبي‪ ،‬الذي يعرف ديناميكية وطاقة‬ ‫ال�شباب ب�شكل جيد‪ ،‬اعطاهم م�س�ؤوليات مختلفة‬ ‫في مجاالت مختلفة‪َ .‬عتّاب بن َا ِ�سيد الذي عينه‬ ‫ول ًيا بعد فتح مكة كان عمره ‪َ .20‬ز ْي��د بن َثابِت‬ ‫ال��ذي ك��ان كاتب الوحي وك��ان يتابع مرا�سالته‬ ‫الدبلوما�سية بتعلم لغة اجنبية (العبرية) كان‬ ‫ف��ي عمر ‪ُ .18-17‬م� َع��اذ ب��ن َج� َب��ل عندما عين‬ ‫ولي في َي َمن كان عمره ‪ .27-26‬عبداهلل بن ابي‬ ‫بكر الذي بقي في مكة وكان عميله عند الهجرة‬ ‫كان �شبا‪� .‬أولئك الذين تم �إر�سالهم كوكالء �إلى‬ ‫منظمة مخابرات المدنية في ح��روب مختلفة‬ ‫كانوا دائم ًا �شبابا‪ .‬وجزء مهم من عمال الألوية‬ ‫في المعارك كانوا �شبابا مثل ُح َباب بن ُم ِنذر‪.‬‬ ‫عندما عين النبي �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم ُا َ�س َامة‬ ‫بن َزي��د رئي�س هيئة الأرك��ان العامة قبل وفاته‬

‫كان �شابا عمره ‪ .19-18‬ال�شخ�ص الذي ا�س�س‬ ‫الهيكل الفرعي في ن�شر اال�سالم في المدينة‬ ‫قبل الهجرة كان �شابا مثل ُم ْ�ص َعب بن ُع َمير‪.‬‬ ‫كان البيروقراطيون الذين ار�سلهم الر�سول �صلى‬ ‫اهلل عليه و�سلم ق�ضاة و�أمناء الأموال و�شرطيين‬ ‫ومعلمين الى القبائل العرب التي ا�سلمت حديثا‬ ‫كان كثير منهم من ال�شباب‪.‬‬ ‫�إن تعيين النبي لل�صحابة ال�شباب في المهام‬ ‫الأكثر �أهمية وح�س ًما للدولة والمجتمع‪ ،‬واعطائهم‬ ‫م�س�ؤوليات‪ ،‬ي�ؤ�شر على ثقته بال�شباب‪ .‬من ناحية‬ ‫اخرى اي �شاب وظفه لم يحبط ثقته بهم‪.‬‬ ‫اعطى النبي اهمية كبيرة لكون ال�شباب ب�صحة‬ ‫روح�ي��ة وب��دن�ي��ة‪ ،‬ووج��ه ال�شباب ال��ى الأن�شطة‬ ‫الريا�ضية‪ .‬النبي الذي قال (الم�ؤمن القوي خير‬ ‫و�أح��ب �إلى اهلل من الم�ؤمن ال�ضعيف) امر ب�أن‬ ‫يكونوا ال�شباب اقوياء ج�سديا اي�ضا‪ .‬حاول هو‬ ‫(�صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم) �أن يقدم لل�شباب عددا‬ ‫من المبادئ العالمية مثل ال�صداقة والأخ��وة‬ ‫والحب واالحترام والت�سامح التي تحتوي عليها‬ ‫الريا�ضة‪.‬‬ ‫ووفقًا لظروف الفترة‪� ،‬شجع النبي ال�شباب على‬ ‫القيام ببع�ض الأن�شطة الريا�ضية مثل ركوب‬ ‫الخيل وال�سهام وال�سباحة والم�صارعة‪ .‬وو�صيته‬ ‫“علموا اوالدك ��م ال��رم��اي��ة وال�سباحة ورك��وب‬ ‫الخيل” تبين اهمية كبيرة م��ن ناحية تطور‬ ‫�صحة ال�شباب وتجهيز اال�سا�س ليكونوا ا�شخا�ص‬ ‫اقوياء‪.‬‬ ‫ك��ان ف��ي تلك الفترة ع��دا االن�شطة الريا�ضية‬ ‫المذكورة العاب وف��روع ريا�ضية مثل الركوب‬ ‫(الخيل والجمل)‪ ،‬الرك�ض‪ ،‬العاب القوى‪ُ ،‬ق َّرك‬ ‫نوع من كرة القدم‪ ،‬رفع الأثقال‪ ،‬والعاب اقنية‬ ‫با�سم « ِد ْر َكلة» ت�شبه لعبة ال�سيف‪-‬درع في ثقافة‬ ‫التركية‪.‬‬ ‫�شاهد النبي هذه الألعاب بع�ض الأوق��ات وكان‬ ‫رائ��د تنظيم ه��ذه الأن�شطة الريا�ضية ب�أخالق‬ ‫�سامية‪.‬‬

‫مفدي زك��ري��اء (‪)1977-1908‬‬ ‫�شاعر الثورة الجزائرية وم�ؤلف‬ ‫الن�شيد الوطني الجزائري «ق�سما»‬ ‫الذي ت�ضمن �أبدع ت�صوير لملحمة‬ ‫ال�شعب الجزائري الخالدة‪.‬‬ ‫هو ال�شيخ زكرياء بن �سليمان بن‬ ‫يحيى بن ال�شيخ �سليمان بن الحاج‬ ‫عي�سى‪ ،‬وقد ولد يوم الجمعة ‪12‬‬ ‫جمادى الأولى ‪ 1326‬هـ‪ ،‬الموافق‬ ‫لـ ‪ 12‬يونيو ‪1908‬م‪ ،‬ببني يزقن‪،‬‬ ‫�أحد الق�صور ال�سبع لوادي مزاب‪،‬‬ ‫بغرداية‪ ،‬في جنوب الجزائر‬ ‫ب��دا حياته التعلمية ف��ي الكتاب‬ ‫بم�سقط ر�أ�سه فح�صل على �شيء‬ ‫من علوم الدين واللغة ثم رحل �إلى‬ ‫تون�س و�أكمل درا�سته بالمدر�سة‬ ‫ال�خ�ل��دون�ي��ة ث��م ال��زي�ت��ون�ي��ة وع��اد‬ ‫بعد ذال��ك �إل��ى الوطن وكانت له‬ ‫م�شاركة فعالة في الحركة الأدبية‬ ‫وال�سيا�سية ول�م��ا ق��ام��ت ال�ث��ورة‬ ‫ان�ضم �إليها بفكره وقلمه فكان‬ ‫�شاعر الثورة الذي يردد �أن�شيدها‬ ‫وع�ضوا ف��ي جبهة التحرير مما‬ ‫جعل فرن�سا ت��زج به في ال�سجن‬ ‫م��رات متوالية ث��م ف��ر منه �سنة‬ ‫‪ 1959‬ف��أر��س�ل�ت��ه الجبهة خ��ارج‬ ‫الحدود فجال في العالم العربي‬ ‫وع��رف ب��ال �ث��ورة‪ ،‬وواف �ت��ه المنية‬ ‫بتون�س �سنة ‪ 1977‬ونقل جثمانه‬ ‫�إلى م�سقط ر�أ�سه فكان هو �شاعر‬ ‫الثورة‪.‬‬

‫العلم الجزائري‬ ‫خ�ضع العلم الجزائري �أي�ضا للتطور عبر المراحل‬ ‫التاريخية المتالحقة‪ ،‬ففي عهد الدولة العثمانية‬ ‫كان راي��ة حمراء وبها مق�ص ذهبي اللون وهناك‬ ‫�أعالم �أخرى بها هالل ونجمة‪ ،‬وفي فترة اال�ستعمار الفرن�سي‬ ‫�شكلت المقاومة ال�شعبية برئا�سة الأمير عبد القادر علما به‬ ‫م�ستطيلين �أخ�ضرين وبينهما م�ستطيل �أبي�ض بمنت�صف يد‬ ‫مب�سوطة‪.‬‬ ‫�أما العلم الحالي الذي هو بالأخ�ضر والأبي�ض وبه نجمة وهالل‬ ‫باللون الأخ�ضر‪ ،‬فقد ا�ستخدم لأول م��رة ب�شكل ر�سمي في ‪3‬‬ ‫يوليو‪ ،1962‬يقال �إن ح�سين بن �أ�شنهو �أحد �أع�ضاء حزب �شمال‬ ‫�إفريقيا هو من �صمم العلم ب�شكله الآني منذ ‪1934‬م‪.‬‬ ‫يرمز اللون الأبي�ض بالعلم �إلى ال�صفاء وال�سالم‪ ،‬واللون الأخ�ضر‬ ‫يحيل �إل��ى الأر� ��ض وال �ث��روات الطبيعية ال�ت��ي تملكها ال�ب�لاد‪،‬‬ ‫وبالن�سبة للون الأحمر فهو يعني دماء �شهداء حرب التحرير التي‬ ‫خا�ضتها الجزائر من �سنة ‪ 1954‬حتى ‪ 1963‬من �أجل اال�ستقالل‪،‬‬ ‫�أما الهالل والنجمة فيعبران عن انتماء ال�شعب الجزائري لدين‬ ‫الإ�سالم‪.‬‬ ‫الوسط ‪ ¿ 96‬ربيع الثاني ‪ 1440‬هـ ¿ كانون األول ‪ / 2018‬كانون الثاني ‪AL WASAT 96 ¿ Rabi al-Thani 1440 ¿ December 2018 / January 2019‬‬

‫اشتريت منتج ًا مستعم ً‬ ‫ال‬

‫�إذا كان من متجر‪ ،‬تتمتع بنف�س حقوق اال�سترداد عند �شراء منتجات م�ستعملة مثل تلك الحقوق التي تتمتع بها‬ ‫عند �شرائك منتجات جديدة‪ ،‬ولكن يجب �أن ت�ضع في اعتبارك عمر المنتج وثمنه وحالته وقت البيع‪.‬‬ ‫�إذا كان من بائع خا�ص‪ :‬ال يجب على البائع �إرجاع �أموالك �إليك �أو تبديل �أو �إ�صالح المنتج �إذا ا�شتريته منهم‪،‬‬ ‫(على �سبيل المثال‪� ،‬إذا ا�شتريته من خالل مزاد الأ�شياء الم�ستعملة �أو من خالل الإعالنات المبوبة)‪.‬‬ ‫اشتريته من خالل اإلنترنت‬

‫�إذا ا�شتريت �شيئ ًا من متجر �أ�سترالي عبر الإنترنت‪ ،‬ف�إنك تتمتع بنف�س حقوق اال�سترداد التي تتمتع بها عند‬ ‫�شرائك من المتجر‪� ،‬إال �إذا ا�شتريت المنتج من بائع خا�ص‪.‬‬ ‫إذا كان يحق لي الحصول على تعويض‪ .‬هل أسترد أموالي‪ ،‬أو يتم إصالح المشكلة‪،‬‬ ‫أو يتم استبدال المنتج؟‬

‫هذا يعتمد على نوع الم�شكلة‪ ،‬ف�إذا كانت‪:‬‬ ‫كبيرة – ال يمكن �إ�صالحها‪� ،‬أو ت�ستغرق وقتاً طوي ً‬ ‫ال �أو ي�صعب �إ�صالحها‪.‬‬ ‫ٍ‬ ‫عندئذ يحق لك اختيار‪:‬‬ ‫• �إرجاع المنتج واالختيار ما بين ا�سترداد الأموال �أو ا�ستبدال المنتج‪� ،‬أو‬ ‫• االحتفاظ بالمنتج والح�صول على التعوي�ض المنا�سب النخفا�ض القيمة‪.‬‬ ‫�صغيرة – يمكن �إ�صالحها في غ�ضون وقت منا�سب‪.‬‬ ‫يجب عليك �إعطاء المتجر الفر�صة لإ�صالح الم�شكلة‪ ،‬وهم يختارون �إما �إرجاع الأموال �أو الإ�صالح‬ ‫�أو التبديل‪� .‬إذا اختار المتجر �إ�صالح المنتج‪ ،‬فعليهم م�س�ؤولية �إعادته �إلى ال ُم�ص ِنّع (والتعامل معه)‪.‬‬ ‫�إذا ا�ستغرق المتجر وقت ًا طوي ًال جد ًا �أو رف�ض �إ�صالح الم�شكلة‪ ،‬يمكنك عندئذ‪:‬‬ ‫• �إرجاع المنتج وطلب ا�سترداد الأموال �أو اال�ستبدال‪� ،‬أو‬ ‫• �إيجاد �شخ�ص ما لإ�صالح المنتج والطلب من المتجر دفع التكاليف المنا�سبة‪.‬‬ ‫الم�صدر‪www.consumer.vic.gov.au :‬‬

‫‪ -7‬ولأهميتها فقد جعلها كثير من المحدثين �شرطا في الراوي حتى ُيقبل‬ ‫حديثه ‪ ،‬فمتى ما انخرمت مروءته تركوا حديثه ‪.‬‬ ‫‪ -8‬قيل ل�سفيان بن عيينة رحمه اهلل «قد ا�ستنبطت من القر�آن كل �شيء‬ ‫ف�أين المروءة في القر�آن» قال في قول اهلل تعالى }خذ العفو و�أمر بالعرف‬ ‫و�أعر�ض عن الجاهلين{ ففيه المرءوة وح�سن الآداب ومكارم الأخالق‪،‬‬ ‫فجمع في قوله }خذ العفو{ �صلة القاطعين والعفو عن المذنبين والرفق‬ ‫بالم�ؤمنين‪ ،‬وفي قوله تعالى } و�أم��ر بالعرف{ �صلة الأرح��ام وتقوى اهلل‬ ‫في الحالل والحرام ‪ ،‬وفي قوله تعالى }و�أعر�ض عن الجاهلين{ الح�ض‬ ‫على التخلق بالحلم والإعرا�ض عن �أهل الظلم والتنزه عن منازعة ال�سفهاء‬ ‫وم�ساواة الجهلة وغير ذلك من الأفعال الحميدة والأخالق الر�شيدة‪.‬‬ ‫الم�صدر‪� :‬صيد الفوائد‬

‫إذا كنت تعيش في ضاحية قريبة من المراعي‪ ،‬فانت مُعرّض لخطر الحريق‪.‬‬ ‫وإذا كنت تعيش مباشرة بجوار المنتزهات او حقل معشوشب وقد بدأ حريق األعشاب‪ ،‬فأبدا بالسير لشارعين‬ ‫على األقل إلى الوراء‪ .‬وإذا كنت تعيش أبعد من شارعين او أكثر‪ ،‬فأبقى حيث أنت‪ ،‬فمن غير المحتمل ان‬ ‫تنتشر حرائق األعشاب إلى المناطق السكنية‪ّ .‬‬ ‫توخى الحذر وترصّد االحوال‪.‬‬ ‫ال تقود السيارة‪ ،‬فقد تكون الرؤية ضعيفة‪ ،‬والحوادث محتملة‪ ،‬ويمكن ان تعرقل خدمات الطوارئ‪.‬‬

‫ك�شفت �أرق��ام جديدة ن�شرتها الهيئة الم�س�ؤولة عن‬ ‫تنظيم قطاع الت�أمين في نيو �ساوث ويلز والمعروفة‬ ‫اخت�صار ًا بـ ‪� SIRA‬أن معظم �شركات الت�أمين تتج�س�س‬ ‫على زبائنها الذين يطالبون بتعوي�ضات لإ�صابات تعر�ضوا لها‪ ،‬و�أن‬ ‫بع�ض هذه ال�شركات تبالغ في مثل هذا التج�س�س‪.‬‬ ‫�أكثر ال�شركات التي تتج�س�س على زبائنها الم�صابين هي ‪NRMA‬‬ ‫�إذا كانت طلبات التعوي�ض ذات عالقة ب�إ�صابة في حادث وقع على‬ ‫لكن ‪ Allianz‬ت�ص ّدرت‬ ‫�إح��دى الطرق‪ ،‬تليها �شركة ‪ّ .Allianz‬‬ ‫القائمة بالن�سبة �إلى الم�صابين في مكان العمل‪.‬‬ ‫ي�أتي الك�شف عن هذه الأرقام بعدما منحت حكومة نيو �ساوث ويلز‬ ‫هيئة ‪� SIRA‬صالحيات �إ�ضافية للتعامل مع ال�شكاوى الناجمة‬ ‫عن تقاع�س �شركات الت�أمن عن دفع تعوي�ضات للم�صابين‪ .‬وهذه‬ ‫ال�صالحيات هي �ضمن الإ�صالحات التي �أجرتها حكومة الوالية‬ ‫على الت�أمين الإلزامي المعروف بالـ ‪� CTP‬أو الـ ‪.Green Slip‬‬ ‫وجاءت الإ�صالحات بعدما تب ّين �أن �شركات الت�أمين تك ّد�س �أرباح ًا‬ ‫بمئات الماليين من الدوالرات فيما تحرم زبائنها من التعوي�ضات‬ ‫الم�ستحقة لهم بعد تعر�ضهم لإ�صابة‪.‬‬ ‫و�سبق ل�صحف فيرفاك�س �أن ك�شفت �أن �إحدى �شركات الت�أمين‬ ‫تج�س�ست على �أحد زبائنها الم�صابين لمدة ‪� 7‬أع��وام باحثة عن‬ ‫�أدلة تجرده من حقه في التعوي�ضات الم�ستحقة له‪� ،‬إلى �أن �أجبرتها‬ ‫المحكمة على ت�سديد هذه الم�ستحقات‪.‬‬ ‫ويتزامن ن�شر هذه الأرقام مع �أ�سبوع التوعية على �سالمة الطرق‬ ‫واليوم العالمي لتذ ُكّر �ضحايا ال�سير‪� .‬شعار الأ�سبوع لهذه ال�سنة‪:‬‬ ‫خف�ض عدد القتلى والم�صابين على الطرق �إلى ال�صفر ممكن! هل‬ ‫ممكن حق ًا؟‬ ‫هذا ٌ‬ ‫الم�صدر‪SBS :‬‬

‫العمال سيمنح ‪ 10‬آالف الجئ‬ ‫تأشيرة الحماية ثم الجنسية‬ ‫بين ‪� 20‬أل��ف و‪� 40‬أل��ف طالب لجوء مختفون في لعبة‬ ‫الأرقام وال�سيا�سات بين الحكومة والمعار�ضة‬ ‫يبدو �أن �أجنحة حزب العمال �س ّدت الثغرات التي كانت‬ ‫ت�ضعفها ع�شية كل انتخابات فدرالية‪ ،‬خ�صو�ص ًا في‬ ‫ملفات دقيقة مثل الهجرة واللجوء‪.‬‬ ‫فع�شية م�ؤتمره ال�سنوي في �أدالي��د �آخر هذا الأ�سبوع‪� ،‬أكد �أقطاب‬ ‫العمال‪ ،‬من �أق�صى اليمين �إلى �أق�صى الي�سار‪ ،‬تم�سكهم ب�سيا�سة‬ ‫الحزب �إزاء الجئي القوارب‪ ،‬وال�شبيهة ب�سيا�سة حكومة االئتالف‪،‬‬ ‫والقائمة على ر ّد قوارب طالبي اللجوء على �أعقابها والنظر بطلبات‬ ‫اللجوء في معتقالت مقامة في الخارج‪.‬‬ ‫لكن في موقف مغاير ل�سيا�سة الحكومة‪� ،‬أعلنت المعار�ضة العمالية‬ ‫�أنها في حال فوزها بال�سلطة‪ ،‬ف�إنها �ستمنح حوالى ‪� 10‬آالف و‪600‬‬ ‫الجئ موجودين في �أ�ستراليا بت�أ�شيرات موقتة‪ ،‬ت�أ�شيرة الحماية‬ ‫ال��دائ�م��ة‪ ،‬وبعدها الجن�سية‪ ،‬ف��ي ح��ال ف��وزه��ا باالنتخابات ال�سنة‬ ‫المقبلة‪.‬‬ ‫ي�أتي هذا القرار بعدما ك�شفت �صحيفة الأ�ستراليان �أن تكاليف النظر‬ ‫بملياري‬ ‫بطلبات �آالف طالبي اللجوء الذين يعي�شون في المجتمع تق َّدر‬ ‫ْ‬ ‫دوالر �سنوي ًا‪.‬‬ ‫في �أي حال‪ ،‬العدد الذي حددته المعار�ضة من طالبي اللجوء لت�سوية‬ ‫�أو�ضاعهم ال يم ّثل �سوى ثلث الجئي القوارب في �أ�ستراليا والذين ال‬ ‫ت�أ�شيرات لديهم ت�سمح لهم بترتيب �أو�ضاعهم وبناء م�ستقبلهم‪ .‬فقد‬ ‫حددت تقارير �سابقة عدد ه�ؤالء بحوالى ثالثين �ألف ًا و�صلوا خالل‬ ‫حكم العمال برئا�سة كيفن راد وجوليا غيالرد �أو �أخلي �سبيلهم من‬ ‫المعتقالت خالل عهدهما‪.‬‬ ‫من جهته‪ ،‬ح ّدد وزير ال�ش�ؤون الداخلية بيتر داتن عدد طالبي اللجوء‬ ‫المجهولي الم�ستقبل والم�صير في �أ�ستراليا بـ ‪� 50‬ألف ًا‪ ،‬قائ ًال �إنهم‬ ‫و�صلوا �إلى هنا نتيجة ما و�صفه بالفو�ضى التي خلقها حزب العمال‬ ‫عندما كان في ال�سلطة‪ .‬ور�أت الحكومة �أن مهربي الب�شر �سي�ست�أنفون‬ ‫عملياتهم في حال فوز حزب العمال باالنتخابات المقبلة‪.‬‬ ‫الم�صدر‪SBS :‬‬
