‫في خ�ضم التطورات المت�سارعة التي تمر بها ا�ستراليا‬ ‫والمرتبطة بقوانين مكافحة االرهاب والتدخل الع�سكري‬ ‫ف��ي ال�ع��راق وم��ا رافقها م��ن تحديات وح��وادث ومواقف‬ ‫مت�شنجة‪ ،‬ال بد ان نتوقف قليال عند عبارة طوني ابوت الف�ضفا�ضة‬ ‫(فريق ا�ستراليا)‪.‬‬ ‫لنتعرف على الفهم ال�صحيح لمفهوم المواطنة عند الغالبية ال�ساحقة‬ ‫من �أبناء الجالية اال�سالمية ولمفهوم (فريق ا�ستراليا) الحقيقي‬ ‫الذي ي�ضم جميع مكونات المجتمع اال�سترالي وما الذي يميزه عن‬ ‫مفهوم طوني ابوت؟‬ ‫ �إن مفهوم (فريق ا�ستراليا) الذي يعتبره الم�سلمون انهم جزء منه‪،‬‬‫هو الذي ي�ؤمن ب�ضرورة حماية الحريات المدنية وحقوق االن�سان‬ ‫�ضمن مجتمع متجان�س ومت�سامح ومتعدد الثقافات ومن هنا جاءت‬ ‫معار�ضتهم لتعديل قوانين االرهاب‪.‬‬ ‫ (ف��ري��ق ا�ستراليا) المثالي ه��و ال��ذي يرف�ض زج اف��راد جي�شه في‬‫ح��روب خارجية بناء على طلب ق��وى مثل امريكا وب��دون اي ر�ؤي��ة‬ ‫ا�ستراتيجية وبدون و�ضوح في االهداف‪.‬‬ ‫ (فريق ا�ستراليا) المتجان�س هو ال��ذي يكون جميع اع�ضائه تحت‬‫�سقف ق��ان��ون واح��د بحيث يعامل اال��س�ت��رال��ي المقاتل ف��ي �سوريا‬ ‫كاال�سترالي المقاتل في الجي�ش اال�سرائيلي مثال وان يكون من‬ ‫يقاتل �ضمن مجموعات م�سلحة كمن يقاتل مع انظمة دموية قمعية‪.‬‬ ‫ (فريق ا�ستراليا) هو ال��ذي ينعم جميع اع�ضائه بالأمن وال�سالم‬‫في ال�شارع وفي البيت وفي دور العبادة بعيدا عن دعوات التحري�ض‬ ‫وال�ك��راه�ي��ة وال�ع�ن��ف وال�ت��ي ت�صدر م��ن منظمات يمينية متطرفة‬ ‫مثل (راب�ط��ة ال��دف��اع اال�سترالية ‪ )ADL‬وغيرها وال�ت��ي ا�ستغلت‬ ‫التطورات االخيرة للترويج لأجندتها المتطرفة دون ان ن�سمع اي‬ ‫موقف قوي و�صريح من الحكومة او المعار�ضة �ضد هذه الموجة‬ ‫من التطرف والكراهية‪.‬‬ ‫ (فريق ا�ستراليا) هو ال��ذي يحترم المعتقدات والثقافات ويحترم‬‫ممار�سة ال�شعائر الدينية بكل حرية بعيدا عن الترهيب والت�ضييق‬ ‫ويرف�ض ربط االره��اب بدين معين مثلما فعلت ال�سيناتور (جاكي‬ ‫المبي) التي تحاول ان تربط االرهاب بالدين اال�سالمي وبالنقاب‪.‬‬ ‫ (فريق ا�ستراليا) هو الذي اليقبل �أن يتعامل ب�إزدواجية مع الق�ضايا‬‫االن�سانية‪ ،‬حيث ت��راه ير�سل طيرانه ليلقي ال�م��واد الغذائية على‬ ‫اليزيديين في جبل �سنجار بعد اقل من ا�سبوع من بد�أ االزمة‪ ،‬بينما‬ ‫ال يحرك �ساكنا تجاه ماليين ال�سوريين الذين ظلوا محا�صرين‬ ‫في حم�ص والغوطة ال�شرقية واليرموك وغيرها لأكثر من ثالث‬ ‫�سنوات‪.‬‬ ‫ (فريق ا�ستراليا) هو الذي ينظر الى االقليات والنازحين من منظار‬‫واحد فال يميز بين اليزيديين في العراق وبين ابناء الب�صرة وبغداد‬ ‫الذين هجر منهم مئات االالف‪.‬‬ ‫ (فريق ا�ستراليا) هو الذي يرف�ض االرهاب‪ ،‬االرهاب الذي ما زالت‬‫القوى الكبرى خائفة من ان تجد له تعريف وا�ضح و�شامل!‬ ‫‪chawkf@alwasat.com.au‬‬

‫مجلس األئمة الفيدرالي يعرب عن استيائه‬ ‫من بعض التجاوزات بحق المسلمين في استراليا‬ ‫�أعرب مجل�س الأئمة الفيدرالي عن ا�ستياء الجالية‬ ‫اال�سالمية من المعاملة ال�سيئة وغير المقبولة من‬ ‫قبل ال�سلطات اال�سترالية بحق احد اع�ضاء مجل�س‬ ‫الأئمة الأئمة في مطار �سيدني حيث تم توقيفه لمدة �ساعتين‬ ‫ون�صف من قبل م�س�ؤولي الجمارك حيث فاتته رحلة الطائرة‪.‬‬ ‫وك��ان االم��ام في طريقه الى مكة المكرمة لأداء فري�ضة الحج‬ ‫مع مجموعة الحجاج اال�ستراليين الذين كان من المفتر�ض ان‬ ‫يكونوا برفقته‪.‬‬ ‫وقد عبر المفتي العام ال�ستراليا الدكتور ابراهيم ابو محمد‬ ‫عن عدم ر�ضاه عن طريقة التوقيف واكد ان الحادثة تدل على‬ ‫الق�صور ال�شديد في العمليات التي تتم في المطار‪.‬‬

‫وطلب المفتي ابو محمد من ال�سيا�سيين والو�سائل االعالمية‬ ‫عدم ا�ستخدام المداهمات من اجل �إثارة الكراهية اتجاه فئات‬ ‫معينة من المجتمع‪.‬‬ ‫كما ا��ش��ار مجل�س االئ�م��ة ف��ي ب�ي��ان ل��ه “الى ازدي ��اد كبير في‬ ‫االنتهاكات ال�شفهية والتمييز �ضد الم�سلمين ف��ي الأ�سابيع‬ ‫القليلة الما�ضية و�أ�ضاف انه تم فتح �صفحة على موقع التوا�صل‬ ‫االجتماعي الفاي�سبوك لت�سجيل هذه الحوادث‬ ‫حيث طلب من اي �شخ�ص يعاني من اعتداء او تمييز المبادرة‬ ‫الى االت�صال بال�شرطة وتقديم تقرير عبر �صفحة الفاي�سبوك‪:‬‬ ‫‪h t t p ://w w w .f a c e b o o k .c o m / .‬‬ ‫‪islamophobiaregistera‬‬

‫مشروع قانون استرالي‬ ‫قد يمنع (ازيو) من استخدام اساليب التعذيب‬ ‫للمرة االولى قد تفر�ض ال�سلطات الأ�سترالية حظرا‬ ‫يمنع اال�ستخبارات اال�سترالية (ازي��و) من تعذيب‬ ‫اال�شخا�ص الم�شتبه بهم‪.‬‬ ‫وكانت الحكومة تحمي عمالء اال�ستخبارات الأ�سترالية في حال‬ ‫ارتكابهم لكافة االعتداءات الجنائية �أثناء عملهم ال�سري‪ ،‬ما‬ ‫عدا القتل والإ�صابات البالغة واالعتداءات الجن�سية والأ�ضرار‬

‫الج�سيمة التي تلحق بالممتلكات‪.‬‬ ‫و�أعلن المدعي العام ج��ورج براندي�س‪� ،‬أن التعذيب �سي�ضاف‬ ‫�إل��ى الئحة المحظورات‪ ،‬عقب �شكاوى تقدم بها �سيناتوران‬ ‫ا�سترالييان من �أنه يجب عدم �إعفاء اال�ستخبارات الأ�سترالية‬ ‫من الم�س�ؤولية القانونية عن تعذيب الم�شتبه بهم‪.‬‬

‫القاء منشورات معادية للمسلمين‬ ‫في ساحة مسجد السالم في برزبن‬ ‫تعر�ض م�سجد ال�سالم في برزبن الربعة اعتداءات‬ ‫عن�صرية خالل فترة وجيزة كان اخرها القاء ‪50‬‬ ‫من�شورة في �ساحة الم�سجد كتب عليها عبارات‬ ‫معادية للم�سلمين من بينها” االرهابيون الذين يولدون في‬ ‫ا�ستراليا لي�سوا ا�ستراليين بل م�سلمين”‪“ ،‬ارجو الى المكان‬ ‫الذي اتيتم منه” “الم�سلمون غير مرحب بهم هنا” وكثر اثارت‬ ‫هذه المن�شورات مخاوف جمعية لوغن اال�سالمية حيث عبر‬ ‫الحاج جمال النعمان عن ا�ستهجانه لهذه االعمال العن�صرية‬ ‫التي تروج للكراهية وطالب ال�شرطة بالقيام بواجبها تجاه ما‬ ‫يمار�س �ضد الم�سلمين من حمالت عن�صرية‪ ،‬يذكر انه كانت‬ ‫القيت في باحة م�سجد ال�سالم �صورة لمكة عليها ر�أ�س خنزير‪.‬‬ ‫وقد لوحظ ازدياد حاالت االعتداءات العن�صرية �ضد م�سلمي‬ ‫�أ�ستراليا في الآونة الأخيرة‪ ،‬وخا�صة في �سيدني وبرزبن‪.‬‬

‫الدب الروسي !‬ ‫فج�أة ظهر التقارب اللبناني الرو�سي وب��د�أ الحديث عن‬ ‫�صفقات �شراء ا�سلحة من الدب الرو�سي‪ .‬فج�أة تحول الدب‬ ‫الرو�سي المتوح�ش الغارق في الدم ال�سوري الى حمل وديع‪.‬‬ ‫فج�أة اعلن عن ب��راءة رو�سيا من دم ال�شعب ال�سوري‪،‬‬ ‫ف��ج��أة ان �ق��ر��ض ال �� س�لاح ال �غ��رب��ي ول ��م ي�ب�ق��ى ل�ل��دول��ة‬ ‫اللبنانية اال الدب الرو�سي يبيعها �سالحه‪ ،‬فج�أة اقتلعت مخالب‬ ‫ال��دب ال��رو��س��ي وغ�سلت م��ن دم��اء مئات الآالف م��ن ال�سوريين‪.‬‬ ‫المتابع لالحداث يعرف جيدا �أن رو�سيا �صانعة البراميل المتفجرة‬ ‫وطائرة الميغ هي ال�شريك اال�سا�سي في قتل ال�شعب ال�سوري و�سالح‬ ‫الدب الرو�سي ملطخ بدماء االطفال‪ ،‬بل يمكن القول ان هذا ال�سالح‬ ‫هو الذي ابقى ب�شار في الحكم وهو الذي جر الويالت والجحيم على‬ ‫المنطقة وخا�صة على لبنان فهل ي�ستقيم ان ي�شتري لبنان �سالحه‬ ‫من رو�سيا بعد كل هذا الجحيم !‬

‫غزة‪ ...‬رمز العزة واإلجالل‬ ‫لي�س التاريخ فقط هو الذي تعاد‬ ‫�صياغته في غزة‪ ،‬بل الجغرافيا‬ ‫والإن�سان �أي�ض ًا‪.‬‬ ‫• ف �غ��زة ب �� ص �م��ود �أب �ن��ائ �ه��ا �أح� ��ت م�ه��دا‬ ‫ل�ل��رج��ول��ة‪،‬وق�ب�ل��ة للبطولة‪،‬و�صانعة للتاريخ‬ ‫والجغرافيا‪.‬‬ ‫• غزة يكتب عنها كل �شريف باكيا من حجم‬ ‫الدمار‪ ،‬ومبتهجا بما تبديه بناتها و�أطفالها‬ ‫و�أمهات الرجال فيها من عزة و�شموخ‪.‬‬ ‫• غزة يكتب عنها الم�ؤرخون لي�صوروا �أكبر‬ ‫ف�ضيحة ف��ي ال�ت��اري��خ ل �ق��ادة ال �غ��رب وم��راك��ز‬ ‫ال �ق��رار فيه حين ي��رون �صنيعتهم �إ�سرائيل‬ ‫تمار�س حرب �إب��ادة جماعية‪،‬ت�ستهدف �شعبا‬ ‫�أع��زل ب�آلة الحرب التى �صنعتها م�صانعهم‬ ‫وقدمت لإ�سرائيل بالمجان وبال ثمن‪.‬‬ ‫• و�ستقف والح�ضارة الحديثة في حالة من‬ ‫ال�خ��زي وال�ع��ار �أم��ام م��ا ح��دث ف��ي غ��زة حين‬ ‫�سكت ق��ادت�ه��ا ول��م ينطقوا ببنت �شفه وهم‬ ‫ي��رون بنك الأه ��داف الإ�سرائيلية ي�ستهدف‬ ‫الأط�ف��ال والأم�ه��ات والمدنيين الذين ال ذنب‬ ‫لهم‪.‬‬ ‫• والتاريخ والأجيال والزمن �سيقولون كلمتهم‬ ‫في طغمة الجهلة الجرابيع الذين ت�آمروا مع‬ ‫العدو ال�صيهوني ‪ -‬وكيلهم المعتمد ‪ -‬ليمحو‬ ‫غ��زة م��ن ال��وج��ود‪ ،‬وه��م يظنون �أن�ه��م ق�ضوا‬ ‫بذلك على الرجولة التى تق�ض م�ضاجعهم‬ ‫وت�شل �أيديهم الم�ستبدة‪،‬وترفع قب�ضتهم من‬ ‫على �صدر ال�شعوب‪.‬‬ ‫• وه�ؤالء لم يدركوا �أن غزة بكفاحها هذا‬ ‫تحمى �أر�ضهم و�شرفهم و�أجيالهم القادمة‪،‬‬ ‫و�أن�ه��م ب�سقوطها �سي�سقطون‪ ،‬ول��م تبق لهم‬ ‫كرامة حتى عند �أ�سيادهم‪ ،‬و�سيكون كل �شئ‬ ‫لديهم م�ستباحا‪� ،‬أر�ضهم‪ ،‬و�أعرا�ض ن�سائهم‪،‬‬ ‫وحتى عنزاتهم ونعاجهم‪ ،‬ولن يبقي لخروف‬ ‫منهم حق الدفاع عن نف�سه‪.‬‬ ‫• ولي�شهد التاريخ �أنك يا غزة بعدد �شهدائك‪،‬‬ ‫وحجم البيوت التى تهدمت‪ ،‬والدماء الزكية‬ ‫التى �أريقت على �أر�ضك لي�شهد التاريخ �أنك‬ ‫رغ��م ع�م��ق ال �ج��راح تنت�صرين وي�ن�ه��زم بنو‬ ‫�صهيون وتنهزم معهم �أنظمة عربية م�ستبدة‬ ‫ل��م ت�ستح م��ن ح�ج��م ال �ع��ار‪ ،‬و�أن ��ك ترتفعين‬ ‫وي�سقط �أغلبهم ‪ ،‬وت�شمخين ب�إباء وكرامة‪،‬‬ ‫بينما كل خ�صومك من ال�صهاينة في العوا�صم‬ ‫العربية يلحقهم العار ويلعنهم النا�س والأ�شياء‪،‬‬ ‫ويب�صق التاريخ في وجوههم الكريهة ليف�ضح‬ ‫كذبهم‪.‬‬ ‫• ك��ل ال�شرفاء وال�ن�ب�لاء ف��ي ال��وط��ن‪ ،‬وفي‬ ‫ك��ل ال �ع��ال��م ي��درك��ون �أن ه �ن��اك م��ن ب��اع��وا‬ ‫غ��زة لتبقي عرو�شهم‪ ،‬وخذلوا �شعبها ليبقوا‬ ‫هم ف��وق �صدور �شعوبهم‪ ،‬و�أ�سلموا �أطفالها‬ ‫لمحرقة حليفهم لتظل لهم متعة ال�ج��واري‬ ‫وال�سفر �إلى مالهي لياليهم الحمراء وحياتهم‬ ‫الفارغة‪.‬‬ ‫• و�سيكون م�صير الذين ت��آم��روا على غزة‬ ‫َوم � َّول��وا حملة العدو �ضد �أبنائها و�شعبها �أن‬ ‫ت�سحقهم ح��رك��ة ال �ت��اري��خ‪ ،‬وتلعنهم �أل�سنة‬ ‫النا�س في كل جيل‪ ،‬و�سينظر اليهم �أبنا�ؤهم‬ ‫و�أحفادهم مت�سائلين‪:‬‬ ‫• لماذا جلبتم لنا العار وكنتم رمزا للخ�سة‬ ‫حين ُك ْنت ُْم عونا للعدو على �إخوتنا‪...‬؟‬ ‫لماذا تكرهون ال�شرفاء وتت�آمرون عليهم‪..‬؟‬ ‫• لماذا �ساهمتم ب�أموالكم في هدم البيوت‬ ‫ويتم الأطفال و�صرخات الثكالى‪..‬؟‬ ‫• لماذا ك��ان �إ�صراركم على الخيانة وكان‬ ‫يمكنكم �أن تكونوا �شرفاء‪..‬؟‬ ‫• من �أجل ماذا ت�ستمطرون على �أنف�سكم لعنة‬ ‫النا�س وغ�ضب ال�سماء وب��راءة اهلل ور�سوله‬ ‫منكم‪..‬؟‬ ‫• �أي �شئ في دنياكم يغ�سل كل هذا العار‪..‬؟‬ ‫• وكم من الأموال وخزائن النفط تكفى ل�ستر‬ ‫هذه الف�ضيحة والتكفير عنها‪..‬؟‬ ‫• وب�أي وجه تعي�شون بين الب�شر في دنياكم �إن‬ ‫كانت �أخراكم لي�ست في الح�سبان‪ ،‬رغم �أنها‬ ‫جد قريبة وقادمة ال محالة (�أينما تكونوا ي�أت‬ ‫بكم اهلل جميعا )‬ ‫• وهل كثرة المال �صنعت في �صدوركم قلوبا‬ ‫جديدة غير ما خلقها اهلل لكم ال تعرف غير‬

‫الكره لكل ما هو �إ�سالمي و�شريف‪....‬؟‬ ‫• وه��ل و�صلت حالة المقت وجحود النعم‬ ‫لديكم �إل��ى تبديل نعمة اهلل ف��ي ال�م��ال كفرا‬ ‫فجعلتموه ن�صرة للظالم‪،‬و�سحقا للمظلوم‬ ‫ال��ذي يبحث ع��ن حريته وك��رام�ت��ه وي��ري��د �أن‬ ‫يعي�ش �إن�سانا‪..‬؟‬ ‫• وه��ل �صحيح �أن �أ�صلكم ع��رب��ي‪..‬؟ و�أن‬ ‫��ش�خ��و��ص�ك��م �أع � � ��راب ف ��ي ال �ج �ن ��س وال� ��دم‬ ‫والل�سان‪..‬؟‬ ‫• من �أي �أبناء ال ُع ْرب �أنتم وقد لوثتم تاريخ‬ ‫العروبة ومرغتم �أنفها في �أوحال العار‪..‬؟‬ ‫• �أم��ا �أن��ت ي��ا غ� ��زة‪ ،‬ف �ل��م ت�سعفنا كل‬ ‫�سويعات الليل ونحن نتهجد فيه بذكر بطولة‬ ‫�أبنائك‪ ،‬ونتعرف من �سجالته حجم �صمودك‬ ‫وت�ضحياتك يا �سيدة الدنيا‪.‬‬ ‫• نعم يا رمز العزة‪� ،‬أحييت ليلنا‪،‬وبددت‬ ‫ظالمنا‪ ،‬و�أعدت �إلينا �إح�سا�سا جديدا بالحياة‬ ‫كان قد غاب عنا وافتقدناه‪.‬‬ ‫•�أطفالك ـ يا �سيدة الدنيا ـ فقدوا �آباءهم‬ ‫و�أمهاتهم‪ ،‬وتهدمت بيوتهم‪ ،‬وهم على حداثة‬ ‫�سنوات العمر قد كبروا قبل �أوانهم‪ ،‬فحولتهم‬ ‫المحن �أب �ط��اال قفز بهم ال��زم��ن‪ ،‬وت �ج��اوز ـ‬ ‫ب��وج��وده��م فيه ـ ع�صور ال��وه��ن وق�ل��ة الحيلة‬ ‫والهوان واال�ست�ضعاف‪ ،‬ف�أ�ضحوا بج�سارتهم‬ ‫وكبريائهم يعيدون للوجود مهابة الإن�سان فيه‪.‬‬ ‫• �أهلك ـ يا غ��زة ـ بالت�ضحيات العظيمة‬ ‫ي �ع �ي��دون ل�ل��دن�ي��ا وع �ي �ه��ا ال �م �ف �ق��ود‪ ،‬ول�ل��زم��ن‬ ‫اعتباره‪ ،‬وللعروبة �شرفها ال�شارد ‪،‬و ُي�شَ ِّيدون‬ ‫من جديد بنيان الإن�سانية المتهدم بالخوف‬ ‫من غرور القوة‪،‬و�صالفة اال�ستبداد‪ ،‬ووح�شية‬ ‫الغابة حين يمتلك حيوانها ال�ضال �أدوات الفتك‬ ‫والقتل والتدمير‪.‬‬ ‫• ون�سا�ؤك يا غزة تَحقّق بهن معنى ال�صمود‬ ‫في �أعلى تجلياته �إ�صرارا على الأر��ض‪ ،‬وثباتا‬ ‫في المواقف‪ ،‬وق��درة هائلة على �إهانة �إرادة‬ ‫ال�شر لدى عدو يعتمد الهزيمة النف�سية لعدوه‬ ‫ك�أول �سالح في االنت�صار‪ ،‬لكن �صمودك حول‬ ‫تفوقه �إلى انك�سار ر�أته كل الدنيا في هلع �شعبه‬ ‫�إل��ى المخابئ‪ ،‬ورعبه من طير �أبابيل تجعله‬ ‫ع�صفا م�أكوال حتى قبل �إط�لاق القذائف‪• .‬‬ ‫ورجالك يا غزة كانوا وما زال��وا نعم الظهير‬ ‫وال�سند ال�شعبي والر�صيد الح�ضاري لإرادة‬ ‫المقاومة ال�شريفة في بعث و�إحياء الق�ضية من‬ ‫جديد‪.‬‬ ‫• �أم��ا �أب�ط��ال مقاومتك ـ يا �سيدة الدنيا ـ‬ ‫فقد حكمتهم �أخالقهم‪ ،‬فلم ي�ستهدفوا من‬ ‫عدوهم غير الع�سكر‪،‬رغم الفر�ص المتاحة‬ ‫لقن�ص ال�م��دن�ي�ي��ن وا� �ص �ط �ي��اده��م‪ ،‬لكنهم‬ ‫اكتفوا ب�إ�صدار الأوامر �إليهم ليدخلوا المخابئ‬ ‫�أو ليخرجوا منها با�سم ف��ر��س��ان المقاومة‬ ‫ال�شريفة‪ ،‬فا�سلحتكم ـ يا�سيدتى ـ على قلتها‬ ‫وب�ساطتها ذات �أخالق‪.‬‬ ‫• �أبنا�ؤك يا غزة يثبتون للوجود ببطولتهم‬ ‫وت�ضحياتهم �أن الإرادة ال تهزم و�أن الرجولة‬ ‫يب عن الح�ضور‬ ‫في الأم��ة لن تموت‪ ،‬ربما َت ِغ ُ‬ ‫ال �ح �� ض��اري‪� ،‬أو ت��دخ��ل ف��ي غ�ي�ب��وب��ة لبع�ض‬ ‫الوقت‪ ،‬ولكنها لن تموت‪،‬و�أن من يعي�شون في‬ ‫الق�صور الفارهة هم العبيد‪،‬بينما َم ْن يعي�شون‬ ‫تحت الح�صار الخانق هم الأحرار حق ًا‪.‬‬

‫• �أك�ت��ب �إليك بعد �أن ق��ررت �إح�ي��اء ليلتى‬ ‫حتى ال�صباح ـ �صباح الن�صر ف��ي �أر� �ض��ك ـ‬ ‫بالبحث في دفاتر بطوالتك و�سجالت ن�ضالك‬ ‫وج� �ه ��ادك‪ ،‬ف��وج��دت �أن ��ك ي��ا ��س�ي��دة ال��دن�ي��ا‬ ‫وحدك تقررين م�صير الهالفيت الذين خانوك‬ ‫وخذلوك وتخلوا عنك‪.‬‬ ‫• �صورتك حولى تملأ الوجدان غبطة‪ ،‬وتملأ‬ ‫القلب �سموا‪،‬وترفع ال��ر�أ��س ع��زا واف�ت�خ��ارا‪،‬‬ ‫وت �م�ل�أ ال��زم��ان وال �م �ك��ان‪ ،‬وت��س�ت��دع��ى من‬ ‫التاريخ �صورا و�أحداثا ن�سيها العرب الأجاويد‬ ‫لما امتلأت �أمعا�ؤهم بالمعبود الجديد ‪ ،‬ف�شربوا‬ ‫منه حتى الثمالة‪ ،‬فلم يعرفوا كيف يفرقون بين‬ ‫ال�شرف وال��ش��ره‪ ،‬وبين ال�شهرة وال�شهوات‪،‬‬ ‫وبين ع�شق البطولة وح�ضن الغانيات‪ .‬و�شتان‬ ‫يا �سيدة الدنيا بين هذا وذاك‪.‬‬ ‫• ال اعتذر �إليك يا �سيدة الدنيا على مواقف‬ ‫ال�سفهاء وال�سفلة من قوم تغوطوا من �أفواههم‬ ‫حتى ذاب��ت الفروق الدقيقة في حياتهم بين‬ ‫المقد�س والمدن�س‪ ،‬بين العفة وال��دع��ارة‪،‬‬ ‫بين فتحة الفم وفتحة �أخ��ري …‪.‬فما خرج‬ ‫من �أفواههم النج�سة هو �شرح للمثل العربي‬ ‫الف�صيح ال��ذي يقول“ ب�ع��رة �ضلت طريقها‬ ‫وخرجت من غير مخرجها “‬ ‫• ال اعتذر �إليك عما تغوط به ه�ؤالء‪ ،‬فهم لم‬ ‫يعودوا منا نحن الب�شر وال نحن منهم‪ ،‬ولذا ال‬ ‫نعتذر عن الروائح ال�صهيونية الكريهة التى‬ ‫خرجت من تلك الأفواه في �صورة كلمات قذرة‬ ‫فزكمت الأنوف وحجبت الر�ؤية‪،‬حتى خيل �إلينا‬ ‫ونحن ن�شاهد �أن بغال يتكلم‪ ،‬و�أن بقرة جرباء‬ ‫تقذف بروثها من �شا�شة ف�ضائية!!!‪ ،‬و�سبحان‬ ‫من يجري المعجزات في كل زمن!!!‪ ،‬ويخلق ما‬ ‫ال تعلمون‪!!!.‬‬ ‫• ال اعتذر �إليك يا �سيدة العقد الثاني في‬ ‫ال �ق��رن ال��واح��د وال�ع��ش��ري��ن ق��رن المتاجرة‬ ‫بالديموقراطية وح�ق��وق الإن��س��ان‪ ،‬ال �أعتذر‬ ‫�إليك عن دول ر�أت المحرقة ثم �سكتت كالقبر‬ ‫ولم تنطق‪ ،‬لكنى يا �سيدة الزمن �أعتذر �إليك‬ ‫نيابة عن االن�سان الذي غابت حقوقه‪ ،‬و�أهينت‬ ‫�إن�سانيته‪ ،‬و�سحقت �آدميته‪ ،‬ف�أنت من تكافحين‬ ‫من �أجل وجوده‪ ،‬وبقائه حرا‪ ،‬وا�سترداد �آدميته‬ ‫التى غابت‪ ،‬و�إن�سانيته التى تم اغتيالها با�سم‬ ‫الديموقراطية وحقوق االن�سان‪.‬‬ ‫• جالل الم�شهد في �صمود �سكانك حير الدنيا‬ ‫وباغت الوجود كله ب�س�ؤال عن الم�صدر ‪:‬‬ ‫• من �أي �شئ خلق الب�شر في غ��زة ؟ و�أي‬ ‫�صنف من الب�شره�ؤالء؟‬ ‫• و�أين �صنعت �إرادتهم؟ ومن �أين �أتتهم كل‬ ‫تلك القوة على ال�صمود واالحتمال والتحدي‬ ‫وال �ق��درة على ��ض��رب ال �ع��دو ف��ي قلبه وعقله‬ ‫وغروره وعقر داره المغت�صبة؟‬ ‫• كيف ل��م ي��ذب ه��ؤالء تحت االح�ت�لال وقد‬ ‫م�ضى على �أحتاللهم �أكثر من ن�صف قرن كان‬ ‫كافيا لإزالة الجبال و�إذابة كل حديد الدنيا‪..‬؟‬ ‫• كيف احتفظت ذاكرة �أهل فل�سطين بم�آ�سى‬ ‫ال�سنين ولم ين�سوا؟‬ ‫• وكيف احتفظت خزائنهم بمفاتيح البيوت‬ ‫القديمة رغم تغيير المعالم والق�سمات وحتى‬ ‫جغرافية االر�ض‪...‬؟‬ ‫• كيف تَ�ش َّب َع �أطفالهم بالج�سارة والكبرياء‪،‬‬ ‫وال� �ق ��درة ع �ل��ى ال �ت �ح��دي وت� �ج ��اوز الأزم � ��ات‬ ‫وال �م �ح��ن‪ ،‬رغ ��م ال�ح��ص��ار وال��ج��وع وف �ق��دان‬ ‫الأهل؟‬ ‫• من �أي��ن جاءتهم القدرة على الت�صدي‬ ‫وب �� ص��دور ع��اري��ة ل�ج�ن��ود ال �ع��دو المدججين‬ ‫بال�سالح‪..‬؟‬ ‫• ك�ي��ف ال يخ�شون الأ� �س��ر �أو ال�ق�ت��ل وه��م‬ ‫يدافعون عن بيارتهم القديمة‪،‬وحارتهم التى‬ ‫كانوا ي�سكنون فيها‪،‬وذكريات البراءة التى لم‬ ‫تغادر م�شاعرهم بعد‪.‬؟‬ ‫• حيرتونا يا �أهل غزة ببطولتكم و�صمودكم‬ ‫وق��درت �ك��م ع�ل��ى الإب � ��داع والإب� �ه ��ار و�صناعة‬ ‫التاريخ وا�ستعادة الرجولة العربية التى ماتت‪،‬‬ ‫وا�ستحياء الروح العظيمة التى ال تعرفها �أجيال‬ ‫الثروة الع�شوائية‪ ،‬وال يدرك كنهها �أولئك الذين‬ ‫تربوا في حارات الخبث والخيانة وحانات العهر‬ ‫وب��ارات الفور�سيزون وجورج �سانك وفي �سواه‬ ‫من الفنادق‪.‬‬

‫من وحي تجربتي‪...‬‬

‫هذه هي الصين‬ ‫ب�ع��د ع ��دة رح�لات‬ ‫وزي� ��ارات والعديد‬ ‫م��ن التعامالت مع‬ ‫ال�شركات ال�صينية العمالقة‬ ‫ف��ي ال �� ش��رق الأو�� س ��ط ‪ ،‬وبعد‬ ‫م�ح��اروت��ي ول �ق��اءات��ي م��ع عدد‬ ‫م ��ن �أرب � � ��اب ال� �م ��ال ورج� ��ال‬ ‫الأع��م��ال ال�صينيين خرجت‬ ‫بمجموعة ا�ستنتاجات عن دولة‬ ‫ال�صين و�سيا�ساتها الداخلية‬ ‫والخارجية ‪ ،‬لعلي �أ�صبت في‬ ‫بع�ضها و�أخ �ط ��أت في �أخ��رى ‪،‬‬ ‫بقلم م‪.‬معاذ فراج‬ ‫فهذا ر�أيي ولكلٍ ر�أيه ‪...‬‬ ‫كاتب من األردن‬ ‫يخطئ م��ن يظن ب ��أن ال�صين‬ ‫�ست�صبح يوما ما الدولة الأولى‬ ‫والعظمى عالميا في �شتى المجاالت ‪ ،‬و�أنها �ستزيح �أمريكا �أو الغرب عن‬ ‫مقدمة الترتيب العالمي الذي ت�صدرته منذ عقود !!‬ ‫الغريب في الأمر �أن ال�صين وبعد تتبع �سيا�ساتها الخرقاء على كافة الأ�صعدة‬ ‫�سيجد المتابع لهذا ال�ش�أن عن كثب ب�أن الدولة نف�سها ال ترغب في �أن ت�صبح‬ ‫االقت�صاد الأكبر في العالم ‪ ،‬خوفا من �أن تقع تحت دائرة ال�ضوء ‪ ،‬وتتحمل‬ ‫بالتالي م�س�ؤولياتها كدولة غنية وعظمى على الم�ستوى االقت�صادي ‪ ،‬وما‬ ‫يترتب على ذل��ك من تبرعات ودع��م وت�ن��ازالت �ست�ضطر للقيام بها على‬ ‫ال�صعد البيئية والتجارية كما تفعل الدول الغنية ‪ ،‬فكلما اقتربت ال�صين‬ ‫من تحقيق هذا الأمر تراها تكبح جماح نف�سها عن ذلك ‪ ،‬ثم تخرج وزارة‬ ‫اقت�صادها على و�سائل الإعالم لتكذب الإح�صاءات الدولية عنها ‪ ،‬ولت�صفها‬ ‫ب�أنها مزورة ‪ ،‬وب�أن ال�صين واقت�صادها ال زالت بعيدة عن ت�صدر العالم في‬ ‫الوقت الراهن ‪� ...‬أمر يدعو لال�ستغراب حقا !!!‬ ‫هند�سيا و�صناعيا وبالذات على الجانب المتعلق بالجودة والكفاءة نجد ب�أن‬ ‫ال�صناعات ال�صينية ال زالت تحبو مقارنة بمثيالتها الغربية �أو الأمريكية ‪،‬‬ ‫�إذ �أنها تعاني من فقدان ثقة الم�ستهلكين حتى الفقراء منهم ‪ ،‬فال�صين ال‬ ‫تلزم م�صنعيها ب�أي نوع من مقايي�س الكفاءة والجودة ‪ ،‬حتى بت �أرى ب�أن‬ ‫المعدمين وب�سيطي الحال من ال�شعوب العربية قد ي�ستدين �أحدهم ل�شراء‬ ‫جهاز كهربائي ياباني �أو �ألماني �أو �أمريكي ذي جودة وكفاءة بدال من �صرف‬ ‫نقوده على ب�ضاعة �صينية ال تدوم �سوى ب�ضعة �أ�شهر ‪...‬‬ ‫معلومة �أخيرة قد تكون مفاجئة للبع�ض �أختم بها مقالتي هذه ف�أقول �أنه و�إلى‬ ‫جانب ما �سبق تبقى ال�صين فعال دولة فقيرة على م�ستوى الدخل الفردي ‪،‬‬ ‫�إذ تحتل المركز الـ ‪ 90‬خلف دول �صغيرة مثل البيرو !!! �أما جانب الحريات‬ ‫والديمقراطيات وحقوق الإن�سان في تلك الدولة فذلك �شيء ُن�سخ منذ زمن‬ ‫فال ُيطمع فيه ‪ ...‬دمتم‬

‫تعظيم شعائر اهلل في الحج‬ ‫مما ال ريب وال ّ‬ ‫�شك فيه‬ ‫�أن ح��رم اهلل الآم��ن له‬ ‫خ�صو�صية ا�ستثنائية‬ ‫م�ستم ّدة م��ن التف�ضيل الإل �ه��ي له‪،‬‬ ‫وذلك منذ دعوة �أبي الأنبياء �إبراهيم‬ ‫الخليل عليه ال�صالة وال�سالم‪ ..‬فمنذ‬ ‫بالحج الأكبر فل ّبوا‬ ‫�أن �أذّن في النا�س‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫ال �ن��داء وج ��اءوا على �أرج�ل�ه��م وعلى‬ ‫ك � ّل �ضامر م��ن ك � ّل ف� ّ�ج عميق‪ ..‬منذ‬ ‫تلك اللحظة الزمنية المباركة التي‬ ‫��ص��درت فيها تلك ال��دع��وة والتلبية‬ ‫المهيبة ال�شريفة‪ ،‬وقلوب �أهل الإيمان‬ ‫منجذبة �إلى بيت اهلل الحرام متعلقة‬ ‫به م�شرئبة �إليه‪.‬‬ ‫و الأدل��ة على ذلك مح�سو�سة م�ؤكدة‬ ‫متواترة و م�شهودة‪� ،‬إذْ كلما زاره المرء‬ ‫ازداد �شوق ًا �إليه وتلهف ًا �إل��ى معاودة‬ ‫الزيارة م��رات و م��رات �إل��ى �أن ي�أذن‬ ‫اهلل بنهاية العمر‪.‬‬ ‫ه ��ذا و ي��دخ��ل ف��ي م�ع��ان��ي و دالالت‬ ‫تعظيم �شعائر اهلل في الحج‪ ،‬توقي ُر‬ ‫بيت اهلل الحرام و�أدا ُء حقوقه ب�إلتزام‬ ‫الآداب وال�سنن ال� ��واردة ف��ي حقه‪،‬‬ ‫واح �ت��رام �أه��ل مكة المك ّرمة لوجود‬ ‫البيت بين ظهرانيهم‪ ،‬ولخدمتهم‬ ‫ورعايتهم الموروثة �أبا عن ج ّد للحرم‬ ‫لحجاج بيت اهلل الحرام‬ ‫ال�شريف و ّ‬ ‫وم�ع�ت�م��ري��ه وق��ا� �ص��دي��ه وم �ج��اوري��ه‪،‬‬ ‫وي �ن��درج ف��ي ذل��ك �أي�ضا ن�ق� ُل �صورة‬ ‫م�شرقة متلألئة عن المجتمع الم ّكي‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫واالحتفاظ بانطباعات �إيجابية عنه‪،‬‬ ‫�إ�ضافة �إلى ح�سن ال�سلوك والمعاملة‬

‫مع ك ّل �ضيوف الرحمن وذلك ب�إلتزام‬ ‫�آداب ال�شرع الحنيف ومراعاة حقوق‬ ‫الأُخوة الإ�سالمية‪.‬‬ ‫كما ال يفوتنا الإ� �ش��ارة �إل��ى �أن من‬ ‫دالالت تعظيم �شعائر اهلل تعالى في‬ ‫ال�ح��ج‪ ،‬المحافظة على البيئة‪ ،‬لأن‬ ‫النظافة من �أب��رز �أخالقيات و قيم‬ ‫الحجاج‬ ‫الإ�سالم‪ .‬فيجب على جميع ّ‬ ‫الحر�ص والتم�سك بقواعد‬ ‫الأك ��ارم‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫النظافة �سواء في �أماكن �إقاماتهم �أو‬ ‫و�صعد الم�شاعر في عرفة‬ ‫في �أماكن ُ‬ ‫والمزدلفة ومنى ‪� ..‬إلخ‪.‬‬ ‫ولقد ورد في ال�سنّة المط ّهرة قولُ‬ ‫ر�سولنا الكريم �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم‬ ‫فيما يرويه �سعد بن �أبي وقا�ص ر�ضي‬ ‫اهلل عنه‪:‬‬ ‫يحب الطيب‪،‬‬ ‫طيب‬ ‫تعالى‬ ‫«�إن اهلل‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫يحب‬ ‫�م‬ ‫�‬ ‫ي‬ ‫�ر‬ ‫�‬ ‫ك‬ ‫النظافة‪،‬‬ ‫�ب‬ ‫�‬ ‫ح‬ ‫�‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫نظيف ي ّ‬

‫يحب ال�ج��ود‪ ،‬فنظفوا‬ ‫ال�ك��رم‪ ،‬ج��واد ّ‬ ‫�أفنيتكم وال ت�شبهوا باليهود»‪.‬‬ ‫ق� ��ال الإم � � ��ام ال �� س �ي��وط��ي ح��دي��ث‬ ‫ح�سن‪:‬الجامع ال�صغير لل�سيوطي رقم‬ ‫‪.1748‬‬ ‫فيا ف��وز َم� ْ�ن ع� ّ�ظ� َ�م �شعائ َر اهلل التي‬ ‫ه��ي يقين ًا م��ن تقوى القلوب‪ ،‬وذل��ك‬ ‫�إح�سا�س �شفاف يت�ضاعف ويتعاظم‬ ‫ف��ي ال�ح� ّ�ج وف��ي ك � ّل زي ��ارة لبيت اهلل‬ ‫الحرام‪.‬‬ ‫و�صدق ال�شاعر ر�شاد محمد يو�سف‬ ‫في قوله ‪:‬‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫بوركت يا �أ ّم القرى من دار‬ ‫تهفو �إليك م�شاع ُر الأطهار‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫الخليل خليله‬ ‫بوركت يوم دعا‬ ‫�أن يجعل ال ّلقيا ب�أكرم دار‬ ‫و م�ضى ليرفع في القواعد عالي ًا‬ ‫ليكون خير مثابة و مزار‬ ‫فرائ�ض‬ ‫و تُقام با�سم اهلل فيه‬ ‫ٌ‬ ‫و منا�س ٌـك فيا�ضة الأنـوار‬ ‫فن�س�أل اهلل العلي القدير �أن يتق ّبل‬ ‫م��ن ال �ح� ّ�ج��اج و المعتمرين و ز ّوار‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫المعظم طاعاتهم و قرباتهم و‬ ‫بيته‬ ‫التم�سك‬ ‫منا�سكهم‪ ،‬و�أن ُيعينهم على ّ‬ ‫بمنهج الإ� �س�لام ال�ق��وي��م‪ ،‬والإل �ت��زام‬ ‫ب�أخالقياته و�آداب��ه و قيمه ومقا�صده‬ ‫ال�شريفة‪ ،‬ك��ي يكونوا ��ص��ورة ح�سنة‬ ‫ل��دي�ن�ه��م و�أخ�ل��اق و ��ش�م��ائ��ل نب ّيهم‬ ‫الم�صطفى �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم‪.‬‬ ‫و اهلل الموفق �إلى ك ّل خير‪.‬‬

‫العشر من ذي الحجة‬ ‫بقلم مهران ماهر عثمان‬

‫�إن م��ن ن�ع��م اهلل تعالى‬ ‫علينا �أن موا�سم الخير‬ ‫يتبع بع�ضها بع�ض ًا ‪ ،‬فبعد‬ ‫�أن انق�ضى مو�سم رم�ضان جاء مو�سم‬ ‫الحج‪ ،‬ومو�سم الع�شر من ذي الحجة ‪.‬‬ ‫فينبغي �أن نتعرف على نعم اهلل علينا‬ ‫ب�ه��ذه الموا�سم ال�ت��ي ه��ي للم�ؤمنين‬ ‫م �غ � َن��م الك �ت �� س��اب ال��خَ ��ي��رات ورف� � ِع‬ ‫ال ّدرجات‪ ،‬وهي لهم فُر�صة لتح�صيل‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫والح ّط من ال�س ِّيئات تتكرر‬ ‫الح�سنات َ‬ ‫علينا كل عام ؛ ليتكرر بها علينا ف�ضل‬ ‫اهلل‪ ،‬ون �ج��دد ال�ن��ش��اط ع�ل��ى �صالح‬ ‫الأعمال ‪.‬‬ ‫ف�ضائل الع�شر من ذي الحجة‪:‬‬ ‫من ف�ضائل الع�شر من ذي الحجة‪:‬‬ ‫‪ّ � -1‬أن اهلل تعالى �أق�سم بها بقوله‪} :‬‬ ‫َو َل� َي��الٍ َع�شْ رٍ {‪ ،‬قال الإم��ام الطبري‪:‬‬ ‫«وال�صواب من القول في ذلك عندنا‬ ‫�أنها ع�شر الأ�ضحى لإج�م��اع الحجة‬ ‫من �أه��ل الت�أويل عليه» ‪ ،3‬وق��ال ابن‬ ‫كثير رحمه اهلل‪« :‬والليالي الع�شر‪:‬‬ ‫المراد بها ع�شر ذي الحجة كما قاله‬ ‫ابن عبا�س وابن الزبير ومجاهد وغير‬ ‫واح ��د م��ن ال�سلف وال �خ �ل��ف»‪ ،‬وق��ال‬ ‫ال�شوكاني رحمه اهلل‪« :‬هي ع�شر ذي‬ ‫الحجة في قول جمهور المف�سرين»‪.‬‬ ‫وه��ذا دل �ي��ل ع�ل��ى ف�ضلها وعظيم‬ ‫�أمرها‪.‬‬ ‫‪ -2‬وهي الأيام المعلومات التي �أُمرنا‬ ‫فيها بذكر اهلل تعالى‪ ،‬قال تعالى‪} :‬‬ ‫َّا�س بِال َْح ِّج َي�أْت َ‬ ‫ُوك ر َِج اًال‬ ‫َو�أَ ِّذن ِفي الن ِ‬ ‫ْ‬ ‫َو َع� َل��ى ُك� ِّ�ل َ�ض ِامرٍ َي��أ ِت�ي� َ�ن ِم��ن ُك� ِّ�ل ف ٍَّج‬ ‫َع ِميقٍ * ِل َي�شْ َه ُدوا َمنَا ِف َع َل ُه ْم َو َيذْ ُك ُروا‬ ‫�ام َّم ْع ُل َوم ٍات َع َلى َما‬ ‫ا�س َم اللهَّ ِ ِفي �أَ َّي� ٍ‬ ‫ْ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ال ْن َع ِام َف ُك ُلوا ِم ْن َها‬ ‫َر َز َق ُهم ِّمن َبهِ ي َم ِة ْ أ‬ ‫َو�أَ ْط ِع ُموا ا ْل َبا ِئ َ�س ا ْل َف ِقي َر{‪.‬‬ ‫قال ابن عبا�س عن الأيام المعلومات‪:‬‬ ‫»�أيام الع�شر”‪.‬‬

‫‪ -3‬وه��ي الع�شر ال�م��ذك��ورة ف��ي قوله‬ ‫ين َل ْي َل ًة‬ ‫و�سى َث َال ِث َ‬ ‫تعالى‪َ }:‬و َو َاع ْدنَا ُم َ‬ ‫َات َر ِّب �هِ‬ ‫�اه��ا ِب َع�شْ رٍ َف� َت� َّ�م ِميق ُ‬ ‫َو�أَ ْت� َم� ْم� َن� َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ً‬ ‫�أَ ْر َب� ِع�ي� َ�ن َل ْيلة{‪ ،‬والثالثون �شهر ذي‬ ‫القعدة‪.‬‬ ‫‪ -4‬وه��ي �أي��ام يت�ضاعف فيها ث��واب‬ ‫العمل‪ ،‬لما ثبت عند ال�ب�خ��اري َع� ْ�ن‬ ‫ا�س َع ْن ال َّنب ِِّي �صلى اهلل عليه‬ ‫ا ْبنِ َع َّب ٍ‬ ‫�ام‬ ‫و�سلم �أَ َّن � ُه َق��الَ َ‬ ‫‪(:‬م��ا ا ْل َع َم ُل ِفي �أَ َّي� ٍ‬ ‫�أَ ْف��َ��ض� َ�ل ِم ْن َها ِف��ي َه � ِ�ذ ِه)‪َ .‬ق��ا ُل��وا‪َ :‬و اَل‬ ‫الْجِ َها ُد ؟ َق��الَ ‪َ (:‬و اَل الْجِ َها ُد‪� ،‬إِ اَّل َر ُج ٌل‬ ‫خَ َر َج ُيخَ ِاط ُر ِب َنف ِْ�س ِه َو َما ِل ِه َف َل ْم َي ْرجِ ْع‬ ‫�ام‬ ‫ِب ��َ�ش� ْ�ي ٍء)‪ .‬ول�ل�ت��رم�‬ ‫َ‬ ‫�ذي‪(:‬م��ا ِم� ْ�نللهَّ�أَ َّي � ٍ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ال�صا ِل ُح ِفيهِ َّن �أ َح ُّب �إِلى ا م ْن‬ ‫ا ْل َع َم ُل َّ‬ ‫الَ َّي ِام ا ْل َع�شْ رِ ))‪َ .‬فقَا ُلوا‪َ :‬يا َر ُ�سولَ‬ ‫َه ِذ ِه ْ أ‬ ‫اللهَّ ِ َو اَل الْجِ َها ُد ِفي َ�سبِيلِ اللهَّ ِ ؟ َفقَالَ‬ ‫َر ُ�سولُ اللهَّ ِ �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم‪َ (:‬و اَل‬ ‫الْجِ َها ُد ِفي َ�سبِيلِ اللهَّ ِ �إِ اَّل َر ُج� ٌل خَ َر َج‬ ‫ِب َنف ِْ�س ِه َو َم��ا ِل � ِه َف� َل� ْ�م َي� ْرجِ � ْع ِم� ْ�ن ذَ ِل� َ�ك‬ ‫بِ�شَ ْي ٍء)‪.‬‬ ‫ق��ال اب��ن رجب‪ ”:‬وه��ذا ي��دل على �أن‬ ‫العمل المف�ضول في الوقت الفا�ضل‬ ‫يلتحق بالعمل ال�ف��ا��ض��ل ف��ي غ�ي��ره‪،‬‬ ‫ويزيد عليه لم�ضاعفة ثوابه و�أجره”‪.‬‬ ‫ومن �أراد �أن ي�ست�شعر ف�ضل هذه الأيام‬ ‫ويت�صور ذلك فليتدبر هذا الحديث‪:‬‬ ‫عن �أب��ي ُه� َر ْي� َر َة َق��الَ ‪َ :‬ج��ا َء َر ُج � ٌل �إِ َل��ى‬ ‫َر�� ُ�س��ولِ اللهَّ ِ �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم‬ ‫َفقَالَ ‪ُ :‬د َّل ِني َع َلى َع َملٍ َي ْع ِدلُ الْجِ َها َد ؟‬ ‫َق��الَ اَ‬ ‫‪(:‬ه� ْ�ل ت َْ�ست َِطي ُع‬ ‫‪(:‬ل �أَجِ �� ُد ُه)‪َ .‬ق��الَ َ‬ ‫�إِذَ ا خَ َر َج ا ْل ُم َج ِاه ُد �أَ ْن ت َْدخُ َل َم ْ�سجِ َدكَ‬ ‫ُوم َو اَل َت ْف ُت َر‪َ ،‬وت َُ�ص َوم َو اَل ُتف ِْط َر)؟‬ ‫َف َتق َ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ذَ‬ ‫َق��الَ ‪َ :‬و َم� ْ�ن َي ْ�ستَطي ُع ل��ك ؟ ‪ .‬ومع ما‬ ‫للجهاد من هذه المكانة يبين النبي‬ ‫�صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم �أن الطاعة في‬ ‫الع�شر ‪-‬التي هي دون الجهاد في غير‬ ‫الع�شر – �أف�ضل منه‪� ،‬أما الجهاد فيها‬ ‫فال �شيء يعدله‪.‬‬ ‫‪ -5‬وهي �أف�ضل �أيام الدنيا لقول النبي‬ ‫�صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم ‪�(:‬أف�ضل �أي��ام‬ ‫الدنيا الع�شر)‪.‬‬

‫‪ -6‬وفيها يوم عرفة‪.‬‬ ‫‪ -7‬وفيها �أعظم يوم عند اهلل‪ ،‬وهو يوم‬ ‫و�سمي‬ ‫العيد‪ ،‬وهو يوم الحج الأكبر‪ُ ،‬‬ ‫بذا لأن معظم �أعمال الحج تقع فيه‬ ‫؛ من الوقوف عند الم�شعر الحرام‪،‬‬ ‫ورم� ��ي ج �م��رة ال �ع �ق �ب��ة‪ ،‬وال� �ط ��واف‪،‬‬ ‫وال�سعي‪ ،‬والحلق �أو التق�صير‪ ،‬ونحر‬ ‫الهدي للمتمتع والقارن‪.‬‬ ‫قال �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم ‪�(:‬إِ َّن �أَ ْع َظ َم‬ ‫�ام ِعن َْد اللهَّ ِ َت� َب��ا َر َك َو َت َعا َلى َي� ْو ُم‬ ‫ْأ‬ ‫الَ َّي � ِ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫ْ‬ ‫الن َّْحرِ ث َّم َي ْو ُم ال َق ِّر)‪.‬‬ ‫ق��ال اب��ن القيم رحمه اهلل‪»:‬فالزمان‬ ‫المت�ضمن لمثل ه��ذه الأع �م��ال �أه��ل‬ ‫�أن يق�سم ال��رب عز وج��ل به”‪ ،‬وقال‬ ‫الحافظ ابن حجر‪”:‬والذي يظهر �أن‬ ‫ال�سبب في امتياز ع�شر ذي الحجة‬ ‫لمكان اجتماع �أم�ه��ات العبادة فيه‪،‬‬ ‫وهي‪ :‬ال�صالة‪ ،‬وال�صيام‪ ،‬وال�صدقة‪،‬‬ ‫والحج‪ ،‬وال ي�أتي ذلك في غيره” ‪.‬‬ ‫�إ�شكاالن وجوابهما‪:‬‬ ‫الأول‪:‬‬ ‫قال �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم ‪�ِ (:‬إ َّن �أَ ْع َظ َم‬ ‫ْ أَ‬ ‫�ام ِعن َْد اللهَّ ِ َت� َب��ا َر َك َو َت َعا َلى َي� ْو ُم‬ ‫ال َّي � ِ‬ ‫الن َّْحرِ ُث َّم َي ْو ُم ا ْل َق ِّر)‪� ،‬أال يتعار�ض مع‬ ‫الحديث الآخر‪(:‬خير يوم طلعت فيه‬ ‫ال�شم�س يوم الجمعة)‪.‬‬ ‫الجواب‪ :‬ال؛ ف�� ّإن يوم الجمعة �أف�ضل‬ ‫�أيام الأ�سبوع‪ ،‬ويوم النحر �أف�ضل �أيام‬ ‫العام‪.‬‬ ‫الثاني‪:‬‬ ‫�أل�ي��س��ت ل�ي��ال��ي الع�شر م��ن رم�ضان‬ ‫�أف�ضل؛ لأن فيها ليلة القدر؟‬ ‫�سئل �شيخ الإ��س�ل�ام ع��ن ع�شر ذي‬ ‫الحجة والع�شر الأواخ��ر من رم�ضان‬ ‫�أيهما �أف�ضل ؟ ف�أجاب‪�« :‬أي��ام ع�شر‬ ‫ذي الحجة �أف�ضل من �أيام الع�شر من‬ ‫رم�ضان‪ ،‬والليالي الع�شر الأواخر من‬ ‫رم�ضان �أف�ضل م��ن ليالي ع�شر ذي‬ ‫الحجة»‪.‬‬

‫آثار الحج ومقاصده‪ ..‬بين الواقع والمطلوب‬ ‫بقلم د‪ .‬يحي بن إبراهيم اليحيى‬ ‫�إن للحج مقا�صد �شتى و�أهدافا عظيمة منها‪:‬‬ ‫‪ .1‬االرتباط بالأنبياء عليهم ال�صالة وال�سالم من لدن �أبينا �إبراهيم وبناءه للبيت �إلى نبينا‬ ‫محمد ر�سول اهلل �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم وتعظيمه لحرمة مكة‪ ،‬فيتذكر الحاج حين تردده في‬ ‫الم�شاعر و�أداءه لل�شعائر تردد �أولئك المطهرين في هذه البقاع ال�شريفة‪ .‬فيرتبط في ذهنه �سيرهم‬ ‫ويتجذر في قلبه االقتداء بهم‪.‬‬ ‫‪ .2‬بيا�ض اللبا�س ونقا�ؤه �إ�شارة �إلى طهارة الباطن ونقاء القلب وبيا�ض الر�سالة والمنهج‪ ،‬وفيه طرح‬ ‫للزينة‪ ،‬و�إظهار للم�سكنة‪ ،‬وتذكر الموت حين يلب�س الإحرام ذلكم اللبا�س ال�شبيه بالكفن فك�أنه م�ستعد‬ ‫للقدوم على اهلل جل وعال‪.‬‬ ‫‪ .3‬الإح��رام من الميقات‪ ،‬التعبد والرق هلل بطاعته والت�شريع لل�شارع وحده‪ ،‬ووحدة الآمة وانتظامها‬ ‫و�ضبطها‪� ،‬أهمية االجتماع والإتالف‪� ،‬إدارك عناية اهلل وف�ضله حيث حدد له كل ما يعنيه في عبادته‪،‬‬ ‫وفيه هذا قطع للتردد وال�شك والو�سو�سة‪ ،‬ومنع للفرقة واالختالف‪ ،‬فقد يقول قائل ‪� :‬إن الإحرام من هذا‬ ‫�أف�ضل و�آخر يقول ‪ :‬ال بل من هذا �أكمل‪...‬‬ ‫‪ .4‬الحج �شعار التوحيد من �أو ل لحظة يتلب�س به الحاج ‪ :‬قال جابر بن عبد اهلل ‪ “ :‬ثم �أهل بالتوحيد لبيك‬ ‫اللهم لبيك لبيك ال �شريك لك لبيك �إن الحمد والنعمة لك والملك ال �شريك لك لبيك “ رواه م�سلم‪ ،‬وقال‬ ‫�أن�س في و�صفه لإهالل ر�سول اهلل �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم �أنه قال ‪ “ :‬لبيك عمرة ال رياء فيها وال �سمعة “‬ ‫تربية النف�س على توحيد اهلل والإخال�ص له‪...‬‬ ‫‪ .5‬ي�شعر الحاج وهو يلبي بترابطه مع �سائر المخلوقات حيث تتجاوب معه في عبودية اهلل وتوحيده‪،‬‬ ‫يقول الر�سول ر�سول اهلل �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم ‪“ :‬ما من ملب يلبي �إال لبى ما عن يمينه وعن �شماله من‬ ‫�شجر وحجر حتى تنقطع الأر�ض من هنا وهنا” يعني عن يمينه و�شماله‪ .‬رواه ابن خزيمة والبيهقي ب�سند‬ ‫�صحيح‬ ‫‪ .6‬تذكر الآخرة حين يجتمع النا�س في �صعيد واحد في عرفات وغيرها لي�س بينهم تفا�ضل وال تغاير الكل‬ ‫في هذا البلد �سواء ال ف�ضل لأحد على �أحد فيه‪.‬‬ ‫‪ .7‬الحج �شعار الوحدة ف��إن الحج جعل النا�س �سوا�سية في لبا�سهم و�أعمالهم و�شعائرهم وقبلتهم‬ ‫و�أماكنهم‪ ،‬فالف�ضل لأحد .9‬إرهاب �أهل الكفر وال�ضالل بهذا االجتماع العظيم للم�سلمين ف�إنهم و�إن كانوا مفترقين مختلفين‬ ‫ف�إن مجرد اجتماعهم على اختالفهم في وقت معين ومكان معين يدل على �إمكان اجتماعهم في غيره‪.‬‬ ‫‪ .10‬بيان �أهمية االجتماع والت�آلف بين الم�سلمين ف�إن كل �إن�سان تجده ي�سافر لوحده بينما عند الحج‬ ‫تجده مع مجموعه‪....‬‬ ‫‪ .11‬التعرف على �أحوال الم�سلمين من خالل الم�صادر الموثوقة‪ ،‬حيث ي�سمع الم�سلم من �أخيه مبا�شرة‪.‬‬ ‫‪ .12‬تبادل المنافع والخبرات بين الم�سلمين عامة‪.‬‬ ‫‪ .13‬اجتماع �أهل الر�أي والعلم والحل والعقد من جميع البلدان وتدار�س �أحوال الم�سلمين وحاجاتهم‪،‬‬ ‫و�أهمية ت�ضامنهم وتعاونهم‪.‬‬ ‫‪ .14‬تحقيق عبودية اهلل تعالى في وقوفه في الم�شاعر ورميه للجمار‪ .‬مع تركه للحرم الذي هو �أف�ضل من‬ ‫تلك البقاع‬ ‫‪ .15‬غفران الذنوب “ من حج ولم يرفث ولم يف�سق رجع من ذنوبه كيوم ولدته �أمه “‬ ‫‪ .16‬فتح باب الأمل لأهل المعا�صي وتربيتهم على تركها ونبذها في تلك الم�شاعر؛ حيث يتركون كثيرا من‬ ‫عاداتهم ال�سيئة خالل فترة الحج وفي الم�شاعر‪.‬‬ ‫‪ .17‬بيان �أن الإ�سالم دين النظام ففي الحج ترتيب للمنا�سك والوقت فال يتقدم �شيء على الآخر كل عمل‬ ‫في مكانه وفي وقته المحدد له‪.‬‬ ‫‪ .18‬تربية النف�س على النفقة في وجوه الخير والبعد عن ال�شح فالحاج يبذل الأموال الكثيرة من �أجل‬ ‫الحج في الراحلة وفي الطريق وفي الم�شاعر‪.‬‬ ‫‪.19‬اكت�ساب تقوى القلوب و�صالحها بتعظيم �شعائر اهلل‪ .‬يقول اهلل تعالى‪(:‬ومن يعظم �شعائر اهلل ف�إنها‬ ‫من تقوى القلوب)‬ ‫‪ .20‬تربية للأغنياء بترك تميزهم في لبا�سهم و�سكنهم وم�ساواتهم للفقراء في اللبا�س والم�شاعر من‬ ‫طواف و�سعي ورمي‪ .‬وفي هذا تربية لهم على التوا�ضع‪ ،‬ومعرفة حقارة الدنيا‪.‬‬ ‫‪ .21‬مداومة الحاج على الطاعة وذكر اهلل تعالى في �أيام الحج وهو ينتقل من م�شعر �إلى م�شعر ومن عمل‬ ‫�إلى �آخر وهذا بمثابة دورة �سنوية مكثفة في طاعة اهلل وذكره‬ ‫‪ .22‬تربية النف�س على الإح�سان �إلى النا�س فير�شد ال�ضال‪ ،‬ويعلم الجاهل‪ ،‬وي�ساعد الفقير‪ ،‬ويقف مع‬ ‫العاجز وال�ضعيف‪.‬‬ ‫‪ .23‬التخلق بالأخالق الح�سنة من الحلم وتحمل الأذى من الخلق‪ ،‬ف�إن الحاج البد له من �أن يتعر�ض‬ ‫لمزاحمة �أو مخا�صمة �أو غير ذلك‪ .‬قال تعالى‪(:‬الحج �أ�شهر معلومات فمن فر�ض فيهن الحج فال رفث‬ ‫وال ف�سوق وال جدال في الحج )‬ ‫‪ .24‬التربية على ال�صبر وتحمل الم�شقة من حر وطول طريق وبعد عن الأهل وتردد بين الم�شاعر وزحام‬ ‫فيها‪.‬‬ ‫‪ .25‬التدرب على ترك العادات والتقاليد والم�ألوفات‪ ،‬ف�إن الحاج ملزم بك�شف ر�أ�سه وترك لبا�سه‪.‬‬ ‫و�سيترك ما اعتاده من �سكن وطعام و�شراب‪.‬‬ ‫‪ .26‬في �سعي الحاج بين ال�صفا والمروة يتذكر �أن من �أطاع اهلل وتوكل عليه واعت�صم به ف�إنه ال ي�ضيع‬ ‫ويرفع ذكره فهذه هاجر �أم �إ�سماعيل عليهما ال�سالم لما قالت لإبراهيم ‪� “ :‬آهلل �أمرك بهذا “ قال ‪“ :‬‬ ‫نعم “ قالت ‪ :‬اذهب فلن ي�ضيعنا “ فرفع اهلل ذكرها وبد�أ النا�س ي�سعون مثلها بما فيهم الأنبياء عليهم‬ ‫ال�سالم‪.‬‬ ‫‪ .27‬تربية النف�س على عدم الي�أ�س من روح اهلل مهما ا�شتدت الخطوب وعظمت الكروب ف�إن اهلل بيده‬ ‫الفرج فهذه �أم �إ�سماعيل كاد وليدها �أن يهلك وبد�أت ترك�ض من جبل �إلى �آخر تتطلع للفرج ف�أتاها من‬ ‫حيث ال تحت�سب �إذ نزل الملك ف�ضرب الأر�ض فخرج ماء زمزم‪.‬‬ ‫‪ .28‬ماء زمزم وما فيه من �شفاء لأمرا�ض القلوب والأبدان‪.‬‬ ‫‪ .29‬يتذكر الحاج �أنه في هذه الم�شاعر في �ضيافة الرحمن فاجتماع الحج لم تدع له حكومة والهيئة وال‬ ‫ملك وال رئي�س‪� ،‬إنما دعا �إليه رب العالمين‪ ،‬وجعله مقاما يلتقي فيه الم�سلمون على قدم الم�ساواة الف�ضل‬ ‫فيه لأحد على �أحد‬ ‫‪ .30‬المواالة للم�ؤمنين يتمثل ذلك بقوله ر�سول اهلل �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم “�إن دماءكم و�أعرا�ضكم‬ ‫و�أموالكم عليكم حرام كحرمة يومكم هذا في �شهركم هذا في بلدكم هذا”‬ ‫‪ .31‬مو�سم الحج هو المو�سم الوحيد الذي تبرز فيه المفا�صلة التامة مع �أهل ال�شرك والكفر‪...‬‬ ‫�أخرج البخاري �أن �أبا هريرة قال‪ ”:‬بعثني �أبو بكر ر�ضي اهلل عنه في تلك الحجة في الم�ؤذنين‪ ،‬بعثهم يوم‬ ‫النحر ي�ؤذنون بمنى‪� :‬أن ال يحج بعد العام م�شرك وال يطوف بالبيت عريان”‪.‬‬

‫علماء يكتشفون بكتيريا في العسل‬ ‫تعالج الجروح وااللتهابات‬ ‫�أعلن علماء �سويديون اكت�شافهم نوعا من البكتريا‬ ‫في معدة النحل‪ ،‬ت�ستطيع مقاومة الجراثيم الفائقة‬ ‫التي ال ت�ستطيع الأدوية والم�ضادات عالجها‪.‬‬ ‫و�أك��د علماء �سويديون �أن اكت�شافهم ه��ذا يعطي الكثير من‬ ‫التفا�ؤل ب�ش�أن عالج كثر من الأمرا�ض وااللتهابات‪ ،‬خا�صة تلك‬ ‫الناجمة عن الحروق والجروح غير القابلة لل�شفاء‪.‬‬ ‫وذك��ر موقع “�ساين�س دايلي” �أن الباحثين من جامعة الند‬ ‫ال�سويدية وجدوا �أن هذه البكتيريا تنتج مجموعة من المركبات‬ ‫الن�شطة المحاربة للبكتيريا الم�سببة لاللتهابات‪ ،‬و�أثبتت فعالية‬ ‫في الق�ضاء على التهابات في المختبرات‪ ،‬قبل �أن ت�ستخدم في‬

‫عالج ع�شرة من الخيول كانت تعاني جروحا غائرة‪.‬‬ ‫وقال الباحث �أليخاندرا فا�سكويز‪�“ :‬إنها في الواقع بكتيريا حية‬ ‫ون�شطة وهي العن�صر الرئي�سي في نوعية العالج التي جربناه‪،‬‬ ‫ن�ستطيع �أخذ الدواء القديم ومزجه مع هذه البكتيريا والع�سل‬ ‫الطبيعي‪ ،‬حيث ن�ضع هذا المزيج على الجروح الحرجة كي‬ ‫تلتئم وت�ساهم في عملية ال�شفاء ال�سريع”‪.‬‬ ‫و�أو�ضح الباحثون �أن هذه البكتيريا الحم�ضية ربما ت�ساهم في‬ ‫عالج �سالالت ممر�ضة ت�سبب عدوى عند الب�شر‪ ،‬وي�أملون في‬ ‫�أن تتطور �أبحاث الع�سل هذه لإنتاج عقاقير خا�صة ب�أنواع من‬ ‫الأمرا�ض �أ�صبحت مقاومة للم�ضادات الحيوية‪.‬‬

‫فيها المنظمة الدولية تقريرا كهذا‪� ،‬إذ‬ ‫قامت بتحليل بيانات �أ�شخا�ص �أقدموا‬ ‫على االنتحار من ‪ 172‬دولة لمدة ع�شر‬ ‫�سنوات‪.‬‬ ‫وح��ول ه��ذه ال�ظ��اه��رة‪ ،‬قالت المنظمة‬ ‫العالمية �إن االنتحار هو م�شكلة �صحية‬ ‫ونف�سية ال ع�ل�اج ل �ه��ا‪ ،‬و�أك� ��دت عجز‬ ‫الهيئات ال�صحية العالمية عن مناق�شتها‬ ‫و�إيجاد حل لها‪ ،‬م�ؤكدة �ضرورة خف�ض‬ ‫االن�ت�ح��ار ح��ول ال�ع��ال��م بن�سبة ‪ 10‬في‬ ‫المائة بحلول عام ‪.2020‬‬

‫ومن �أبرز ما ورد في التقرير ارتفاع ن�سبة‬ ‫االنتحار بين الذكور مقارنة بالإناث‪،‬‬ ‫كما �أنها ترتفع في الدول الغنية �أكثر من‬ ‫الدول الفقيرة‪.‬‬ ‫وذك��ر التقرير �أن ا�ستخدام المبيدات‬ ‫الح�شرية هو الو�سيلة الأب��رز لالنتحار‬ ‫خ�صو�صا ف��ي المناطق ال�ن��ائ�ي��ة‪ ،‬لذا‬ ‫تعهدت الحكومات بتطبيق خطط وطنية‬ ‫�صارمة لمواجهة هذه الظاهرة‪ ،‬ووقف‬ ‫محاوالت االنتحار‪.‬‬

‫االهتمام بالجار و�إكرامه وم�ساعدته وحب الخير له‪ ..‬هي �أحدث‬ ‫طريقة للتخل�ص من �أمرا�ض الع�صر والتمتع ب�صحة جيدة‪ ..‬هل‬ ‫هذا معقول؟ دعونا نتعرف على �أ�سرار هذا البحث‪....‬‬ ‫في بحث جديد ن�شر ملخ�ص ًا عنه موقع �سي ان ان الأمريكي جاء فيه �أن‬ ‫الجار الجيد والمتعاون مع جاره ي�ؤثر �إيجابي ًا على �صحة ج��اره! لقد تتبع‬ ‫الباحثون خالل درا�سة «ال�صحة والتقاعد»‪ ،‬التي ن�شرت في دوري��ة «علم‬ ‫الأوبئة و�صحة المجتمع» �أكثر من ‪� 5‬آالف من كبار ال�سن‪ ،‬لم ي�سبق معاناتهم‬ ‫من �أمرا�ض القلب‪ ،‬لفترة �أربعة �أعوام‪ .‬واخ�ضع الم�شاركون ال�ستبيان ب�ش�أن‬ ‫مدى االندماج والترابط بالمجتمع المحيط بهم‪ ،‬وعما �إذا كان الجيران‬ ‫ودودين ومتعاونين ويمكن الوثوق بهم‪.‬‬ ‫وجدت الدرا�سة �أن الم�شاركين الذين ا�ستوفى جيرانهم تلك المعايير‪ ،‬هم‬ ‫الأقل عر�ضة للإ�صابة بـ”النوبة القلبية” التي �أ�صيب بها نحو ‪ 148‬م�شاركا‬ ‫خالل الدرا�سة‪ .‬ويقول الباحثون �إن المجتمعات المترابطة ربما تعزز وت�شجيع‬ ‫نمط ًا محدد ًا من ال�سلوكيات تحمي القلب والأوعية الدموية من ال�ضرر‪...‬‬ ‫والحقيقة العلمية �إذ ًا تقول �إنه يجب على الجيران �أن يتعاونوا و�أن ين�شئوا‬ ‫بينهم عالقات طيبة ويقدمون الم�ساعدة لمن يحتاجها‪ ،‬وهذا �سيخف�ض‬ ‫لديهم جميع ًا �أمرا�ض القلب وم�شاكل ارتفاع �ضغط الدم‪ ،‬وبالنتيجة يعي�شوا‬ ‫لمدة �أطول!‬ ‫كيف نظر النبي الكريم �إلى الجار‬ ‫لم يعرف التاريخ �أحد ًا اهتم بالفقراء والم�ساكين وكبار ال�سن وذوي القربى‬ ‫والجيران‪� ..‬أكثر من ر�سول اهلل �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم‪ .‬فقد �أو�صى النبي‬ ‫ب�ضرورة االهتمام بالجار وم�ساعدته ومعاملته معاملة ح�سنة‪ ،‬لأنه يريد‬ ‫الخير لأتباعه وللب�شرية جميع ًا‪.‬‬ ‫قال �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم‪( :‬ومن كان ي�ؤمن باهلل واليوم الآخر فليكرم جاره)‬ ‫متفق عليه‪ .‬انظروا �إلى عظمة هذا الحديث‪ ،‬وماهي النتيجة لو طبق النا�س‬ ‫هذا الحديث‪� ،‬أي كل جار يكرم جاره ويقدم له ما يحتاج‪� ..‬إذ ًا �سوف تنتهي‬ ‫الم�شاكل بين النا�س‪ ..‬ولن نجد �أحد ًا في المحاكم �أو ال�سجون!‬ ‫حديث �أخر عجيب ورد عن النبي �صلى اهلل عليه و�سلم‪ ،‬يقول فيه‪( :‬واهلل ال‬ ‫ي�ؤمن واهلل ال ي�ؤمن واهلل ال ي�ؤمن) قيل‪ :‬ومن يا ر�سول اهلل؟ قال‪( :‬الذي ال‬ ‫ي�أمن جاره بوائقه) رواه البخاري‪� ...‬أي �أن النبي نفى �صفة الإيمان عن كل‬ ‫من ي�ؤذي جاره‪..‬‬ ‫�إذ ًا تعالوا وقي�سوا اليوم على واقعنا‪ ،‬ما هي ن�سبة الم�سلمين الذين يطبقون‬ ‫هذا الحديث؟ ربما تكون الن�سبة مخيفة لأنك قد ال تجد بين النا�س اليوم من‬ ‫يكرم جاره ويعمل على م�ساعدته ويحب له الخير كما يحبه لنف�سه‪� ...‬إذ ًا ما‬ ‫هي ن�سبة الم�سلمين الحقيقية ي ع�صرنا هذا؟‬ ‫واهلل لو طيق النا�س اليوم ن�صيحة واحد ًة من ن�صائح النبي الأعظم – مثل‬ ‫االهتمام بالجار ‪ -‬لزالت جميع م�شاكلنا ولأ�صبحنا من خير الأمم و�أكثرها‬ ‫تطور ًا وتقدم ًا‪ ..‬ومن هنا ربما ندرك لماذا النبي الكريم �صلى اهلل عليه‬ ‫و�سلم �أو�صى بالجار وقال‪( :‬ما زال جبريل يو�صيني بالجار حتى ظننت �أنه‬ ‫ليورثنه) متفق عليه‪.‬‬ ‫و�أخير ًا عزيزي القارئ �أرجو منك االهتمام بجيرانك و�إكرامهم وم�ساعدتهم‬ ‫و�أن تحب لهم الخير‪ ..‬فهذا من �أعظم الأعمال التي تكون �سبب ًا لدخولك‬ ‫الجنة في الآخرة‪ ،‬وفي الدنيا �سوف تنعم ب�صحة جيدة وطول العمر ب�إذن‬ ‫اهلل‪.‬‬ ‫المهند�س عبد الدائم الكحيل‪ ،‬باحث في الإعجاز‬ ‫العلمي ف��ي ال �ق��ر�آن وال��س�ن��ة‪�� ،‬ص��در ل��ه �أك �ث��ر من‬ ‫�أربعين كتاباً وكتيباً‪.‬‬

Victoria Police Multi-Faith Council Committed to Engaging Faith Communities

An open letter to the Community of Victoria We, the members of the Victoria Police Multi-Faith Council, are writing to the Victorian community to affirm our rejection of all violence, particularly that which is based on sectarianism. The terrible scenes that have appeared on the internet and on our TV screens over the last few months are abhorrent to all fair minded Victorians. These events have caused many of us to reassess how we live our lives and how we relate to each other across our wonderful multi-faith and multicultural community. We need to protect what we have built as a community. Together, we can keep each other safe. Our Prime Minister has raised the public alert levels from Medium to High. In this context, we believe the best way to face potential threats is to work together, inclusively. This approach has served Victorians well for decades. We must remember the things which have made this state great, our commitment to law and order, a history of working and cooperating with each other, and strong support for those in need, no matter what our religion or race. During this difficult time, we need to be culturally sensitive, respectful and understanding. While recognising differences we also need to embrace and celebrate our similarities. All of us have the right to worship and practice our faith. The strength of our multiculturalism and faith diversity has provided a strong foundation to face challenges in a positive and peaceful way. The security of the Victorian community is everyone’s responsibility and we are asking and encouraging all faith communities to work with us to keep Victoria safe. At a local level, we are asking the leaders of our faith groupings to encourage and remind their communities that: • the security changes are about criminal activity occurring both nationally and internationally; • suspicious activities should be reported to the National Security Hotline on 1800 123 400 or Triple Zero (000); • any acts of religious or racial vilification should be reported immediately to Triple Zero (000); and • liaison with local police is encouraged to strengthen safety and community connections. Faith leaders also have a role to encourage community members to pursue their values and beliefs while simultaneously responding and reporting discrimination or other illegal activity. Victoria Police have undertaken to respond to any complaints in a fair and unbiased manner using human rights principles. The Council stands united with Victoria Police in its belief that the cohesion and harmony which exists across our state will be our greatest asset in keeping each other safe so that we can continue enjoying one of the most successful multicultural and multi-faith societies in the world. The Victoria Police Multi-Faith Council is a long established grouping of faith leaders which provides advice to the Chief Commissioner. Following the elevation of the National Terrorism Public Alert Level to High, the Council met with the Chief Commissioner and agreed to encourage all members of the community to work together in the interests of public safety. We are informed that Abbot government is currently sending 600 Australian troops and offering tax payerfunded military training and four RAAF F-18 super hornet fighter jet at the estimated tax payer cost of $ 400 million per year to provide air support to secular ethnic non-Arab Kurdish separatists from the PKK and other Marxist-Leninist antiIslamic, nationalistic armed groups like Peshmerga fighting Sunni Arab Muslims of Iraq and Syria. This is an escalation to a new war and must

be condemned by all peace loving Australians because Abbot government is promoting more ethnic conflicts and laying the seeds of future religious and sectarian wars in the region. Khaki Election and Australia’s Contribution to World War Just a hundred years ago, when the British Empire was about to declare war on the “wicked Hun” i.e. the Government of Germany, just four Cabinet members in Joseph Cook’s Liberal government decided to leap into the fray. They decided that our entire navy and 20,000 troops should be contributed to the imperial cause, forty hours ahead of the British Cabinet decision. The Liberals intended to use the war to isolate the Labor Party. Their electoral opportunism was summed up by a Liberal Senate candidate who noted that ‘the European situation affords Liberals in Australia excellent material for a good war-cry during the current campaign’ allowing them to attack Labor in a “khaki election” as “traitorous, a friend of Germany and a nest of Irishmen disloyal to Empire”, no matter how fanciful this description was. To avoid being wedged by this shameless and dishonest xenophobia, Fisher, leader of the Labor Party, pledged to help and defend Britain “to our last man and our last shilling”. ‘In times of emergency’, he declared, the Labor Opposition would ‘stand behind the government in all measures ... to assist the Mother Country’. In this khaki election of 1914, Fisher and the Labor Party won but the strain was too much for him and in October 1915 Billy Hughes took over as PM. Devoted to the Empire and the war effort, Hughes, who was born in Britain, tried to introduce conscription. Two thirds of his party, composed of Irish Catholics, trade unionists and socialists, were opposed to this so he had to try to win by plebiscite. He vilified Catholics, socialists, pacifists, indeed anyone who opposed his policies. He lost the plebiscite but wanted to keep trying to get men conscripted, so he was expelled from the Labor Party in 1916 and went on to establish the National Labor Party, which soon allied with the Liberals to form the Nationalist Party of Australia. He was hated as a “Labor rat” for the rest of his life. Repression of dissent became one of the features of his period of office. The Sydney Twelve were members of the Industrial Workers of the World arrested on 23 September 1916 in Sydney, Australia, and charged with treason under the Treason Felony Act (1848). The IWW were vehement opponents of the war and conscription. Billy Hughes forced the Unlawful Associations Act (1916) through Federal Parliament in five days during December 1916, then had the IWW declared an unlawful association. Put on trial, the 12 men were sentenced from fifteen to five years jail. In 1920 after the election of a Labor Government in NSW, their sentencing was investigated. Ten of the men were released in August 1920, and two others slightly later. Political leadership by this sycophant of Empire brought negative results for the world. Hughes demanded and won separate Australian representation at the Versailles Peace Settlement. When the President of the USA questioned Hughes right to have so much influence in world affairs, with a population of only five million, Hughes relied “I speak for 60,000 dead. For how many do you speak?” By insisting that Germany pay the full cost of the war, he helped lay the ground for the rise of Hitler from a justified base of German resentment. By having the ‘racial equality’ clause removed from the covenant of the League of Nations and by opposing Japanese claims to German colonies north of the equator he played a significant part in the events that led to the Pacific war with that nation. Basking in the glory of his nickname “The Little Digger” which came from his unwavering support of the British war effort against Germany, he remained in Parliament until his death at the age of 90 in 1952. Although his reputation has been whitewashed in most accounts of this period of our history, some remember his attempts to conscript men for the meat grinder of the Western Front and his contributions to the outbreak of World War II. Few remember the Sydney Twelve. Opportunist exploitation of war and national crisis are not restricted to Australia, but they are less common today than they were 100 years ago. That is the result of public education systems. However as we can see today in our fair land, such tricks have not disappeared from the magic box.

ANIC OPPOSES MILITARY INVOLVEMENT IN IRAQ PRESS RELEASE The Australian National Imams Council (ANIC), as stated previously, believes that one of the main causative factor for local radicalisation in the west has been the western governments’ military involvement in the Middle East. The support of unjust, dictatorial regimes as well as unilateral military aggression based on duplicitous foreign policy positions has only aggravated the state of global fear and violence. If the Australian government is serious about reducing the terror threat locally, then it must review its foreign policy decisions with regard to this region. It is on this basis that His Eminence, Professor Ibrahim Abu Mohamed, Grand Mufti of Australia and ANIC opposes the government’s current decision to transport and provide weapons to the Kurdish forces in Iraq.

The decision by the government, given the complexities present in Iraq, is confounded by the following: • The decision is not based on a United Nations’ resolution sanctioning such action. And this is despite the fact that Australia currently sits on the UN Security Council. • The weapons are not earmarked for a national government but rather for a breakaway force that includes a listed terrorist organisation, the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK). • The likelihood of mission creep given the government has already foreshadowed the possibility of deploying SAS soldiers and fighter jets.

Professor Ibrahim Abu Mohamed voiced his opposition stating: “ANIC calls on the government to reexamine its decision to provide weapons to Kurdish forces in Iraq. The Government will be imputed for further radicalization locally if it continues military intervention in the middle East.” ANIC fully supports the government’s current humanitarian assistance insofar as food, water and medical supplies to affected regions in Iraq are concerned. This is a just and noble act that all citizens will applaud.

Areas with high migrant populations typically have higher rates of informal voting, and to counter this, the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) has piloted the Democracy Ambassador project with people from the Horn of Africa (Eritrea, Somalia, Ethiopia, North Sudan and South Sudan). The VEC has trained community members

to become C o m m u n i t y Educators, and they are now available to meet with community groups and can present information about elections and voting in Amharic, Arabic, Dinka, Nuer and Tigrinya. The Community Educators are seeking opportunities to engage with communities. This short note is to provide some information for those who’s Australian passport is about to be or has been cancelled. The Australian Passports Act 2005 (Cth) (Act) came into effect on 1 July 2005. It sought to ‘balance the citizen’s sense of entitlement to a passport’ with the government’s duty to protect Australia. The Act allows the government to refuse to issue passports to criminals, terrorists, persons using false identities, and to children lacking appropriate parental supervision or relevant court sanction to travel, and to cancel passports once issued. The Act also changed the basis upon which ministerial discretion operated. It prescribed in detail the circumstances where the Minister for Foreign Affairs, or his delegate, may (or must) refuse or cancel a passport. It also makes those decisions reviewable under the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975 (Cth). The Minister has discretion to cancel or refuse to issue a passport where a competent authority has reasonable grounds to believe that a person is ‘likely to engage in conduct ... prejudic[ial to] the security of Australia or a foreign country,’ or ‘might endanger the health or physical safety of other persons’, or ‘might interfere with the rights or freedoms of other persons’ or if the person’s conduct might constitute an indictable offence under the Act or another law of the Commonwealth ‘specified in a Minister’s determination.’ In practice, this means offences relating to national and international security (including terrorism), illicit drugs, pedophilia or child pornography, or violent offences. Australian citizens do not need to obtain a visa under the Migration Act 1958 (Cth) in order to re-enter Australia from overseas. However, this does not necessarily mean that Australian citizens have an ‘absolute right of re-entry’ into the country. Section 4(3) of the Migration Act provides that the Act requires citizens, as well as non-citizens, to identify themselves upon entering Australia — although the purpose of this is expressed as being furtherance of the Migration Act’s object of regulating the entry into and presence in Australia of non-citizens. The key provision to this end is s 166(1), which requires both citizens and non-citizens to present identification evidence for immigration clearance when entering Australia. For Australian citizens, this identification evidence typically consists of the person’s passport. Refusal or cancellation of a citizen’s passport deprives that citizen of the right to travel abroad. If a person’s passport is cancelled while they are overseas, the cancellation would, in a practical sense, deprive them of the capacity to re-enter Australia. As noted above, the Act provides for certain decisions made by the Australian Passport Office to be reviewable decisions. The decisions that are reviewable include a decision to cancel an Australian travel document and a decision to demand the surrender of an Australian travel document, amongst other things. If a review of a decision is requested, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade will appoint an internal review officer who has not been involved in the original decision to examine all the facts carefully. The original decision may be affirmed; it may be varied; or it may be set aside and a new decision made in its place, with the applicant notified of the outcome of the review as soon as possible. If an applicant is still not satisfied following the internal review, they may seek to have the decision reviewed by the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. If you are issued a notice telling you that your passport is about to be cancelled, please contact your lawyer ASAP, as you have 28 days after being notified to apply for a review of the decision. GAZA EMERGENCY RESPONSE The Gaza crisis has forcibly displaced up to half a million people, equating to almost 30% of Gaza’s population, including about 65,000 people whose homes have been destroyed or damaged beyond repair and have nowhere to return. Gaza’s public health system is on the verge of collapse while the number of casualties continues to grow. Medication and medical supplies, food, water, hygiene materials and fuel are among the essential items urgently required to support the people of Gaza. Generous donations from communities, organisations and individuals such as yourselves have made it possible for Islamic Help to reach and respond to the disadvantaged populations of Palestine. Against all difficulties and dangers, Islamic Help’s team continue to carry out its obligation towards those in need. Health and Hygiene Ten of Gaza’s 26 hospitals have had to shut down and 34 out of 75 primary health clinics have also closed. Emergency care remains a high priority for staff with medication and equipment running drastically low. Hospitals are dependent, almost exclusively, on back-up generators as their main source of power. The lack of electricity and fuel shortages has further disrupted access to water for the entire population. The problems have been compounded by the destruction of water and sewage treatment plants. Medical supplies worth $200,000 were procured within Gaza and distributed to hospitals in liaison with medical authorities. 200 medical kits were distributed on 22nd July 2014 to Kamal Idwan Hospital, Beit Lahia and Nasser Hospital, Khan Younis. A shipment of medical supplies worth $198,213.42 (£117,656.67) has been despatched from Salt Lake City, USA to Palestine. Islamic Help will distribute this shipment within Gaza in partnership with the Palestinian Red Crescent and in coordination with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR. Sanitation and hygiene is a high priority for displaced Palestinians. The UN Relief and Works Agency, UNRWA – the UN agency responsible for Palestinians – will coordinate the delivery of 3,000 hygiene

The fuel will be delivered directly by UNRWA to the hospitals with Islamic Help’s support. Gaza’s displaced population is in increasing need of emergency food assistance and clean drinking water. Our Response As part of the emergency food response, our team has distributed 3950 family food packs containing essential food items, reaching 15,800 people in 7 UNRWA schools and non-UNRWA locations. Rebuilding Lives Islamic Help’s work in Gaza has only just begun. Through the generosity of our supporters, we have already provided urgently needed food, water and medicines to thousands of people in Gaza. But it is only the beginning. The destruction wrought on the enclave has destroyed communities, infrastructure and people’s lives. The rebuilding of Gaza will take years if not decades. With teams on the ground providing direct help and aid, and in partnership with United Nations agencies and other organisations like the Palestine Red Crescent, Islamic Help is committed to meeting the immediate needs of Gaza’s population. As the conflict subsides, we will not only step up our delivery of food, water and hygiene materials alongside medicine and medical supplies, but launch major programmes to help the rebuilding of Gaza. These include 300 water tanks to provide more than 10,500 people with clean drinking water for weeks, and the setting up of a water plant – in conjunction with the Palestinian Water Authority – to provide clean water to 30,000 people daily. One of the most crucial aspects of our work is ensuring that Gaza’s hospitals keep running. We have committed ourselves to doing that by working with the United Nations to provide additional fuel supplies to operate backup generators at the hospitals. Again, we and the people of Gaza thank you for your generosity, please continue to help the people of Gaza rebuild their lives. But a new hope lies in the ordinary citizens of the world. This is the worldwide non-violent movement known as the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, or “BDS”. This movement carries the hope of millions of ordinary people who are turning the tide through economic pressure to force Israel to end its occupation of the Palestinians and participate in a just resolution to the conflict between these two peoples who deserve peace. Many of you in Australia are part of the BDS movement. You are seen every week in different cities and towns talking to other Australians about BDS and informing them about the injustices suffered by the Palestinians. Many others of you participate individually by choosing not to buy Israeli products or the products of

Others of you refuse to buy tickets to the Israeli Film Festival, or boycott Israeli academics who come from Israeli Universities that support Israel’s policies of occupation. This is the power of BDS. We in South Africa, who know about oppression and occupation and who know about the power of BDS, salute the Australian BDS movement and we join with you in calling for Israel to end the Occupation; to end the siege of Gaza. We join with you in calling on the Australian Government to demand that the occupation of the West Bank ends; for Israel to stop the illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank; for the siege of Gaza to be permanently lifted. We in South Africa join with you and we shout “Free Free Palestine!”

Those who see evil in our midst and keep silent, are showing their acceptance of that evil. One hadith, rated as “fair” by Ibn Hajar warns us: Adi’ Al-Kindi reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, “Verily, Allah the Exalted will not punish a community for the sins of a few unless they see evil appear among themselves and they are able to condemn it but they do not. If they do that, then Allah will punish the community along with the sinners.” (Musnad Ahmad 17627) A large section of the Australian Christian community has taken a strong stand on the mistreatment and imprisonment of asylum seekers. A strong message against Federal Government injustice was delivered by Catholic nun Sister Jan Barnett, along with several other Christian protesters, arrested in Treasurer Joe Hockey’s office in August this year. Pax Christi pointed out in a press release that in the four months before August, 45 religious leaders from many different denominations had been arrested after holding prayer vigils in offices of MPs from both the Liberal and Labor parties. In June an Adelaide Rabbi was arrested in the office of the Liberal member for Mayo. Professor Louise Newman , Director of the Centre for Developmental Psychiatry and Psychology, at Monash Medical Centre, issued “J’Accuse” a statement inviting signatures from all who supported it. Very quickly over 200 professionals added their names and now, circulated on Get Up, it has over 50,000 signatures. Included in their 13 points was one which rings loud and clear to the Muslim and Arab communities: “We the undersigned, accuse the current Federal Government and both major political parties of willfully and deliberately: 8. Tolerating and/or encouraging racist media coverage (rather than educating and promoting public deliberation, as with closely related issues such as people with mental illness).” Bruce Duncan in an article ‘Asylum Seekers: when does silence become complicity” stated: The Australian Catholic bishops on 9 May made an exceptionally strong attack on the treatment of asylum seekers as shameful and cruel, bringing dishonour on Australia. …The bishops supported their fellow bishops of PNG in opposing the use of Manus Island for detention, and called for humane solutions for asylum seekers.” Presenting the report “Protecting the Lonely Children” in July this year, the chair of the Australian Churches Refugee Taskforce, Anglican Dean Peter Catt said: “These children are held like animals in conditions that are inhumane, interrogated without support or representation, shipped around the country and offshore in the middle of the night, and denied basic rights, including education.” Never one to miss an opportunity for whipping up hysteria, after the alleged terrorist plot in Sydney, the Australian newspaper ran the headline ‘Mohammad Ali Baryalei: from refugee to battlefield plot ringmaster’. Worse still perhaps was Wagga Wagga’s Daily Advertiser (owned by Fairfax), with an opinion piece that claimed ‘The flood of “asylum seekers” like Mohammad Ali Baryalei and those at the Liverpool mosque had to be stopped.’ ‘Such attempts to smear refugees and Muslims as terrorists are completely unjustified, they do nothing to prevent terrorism, but will stoke racism against refugees and Muslims’ said Chris Breen for the Refugee Action Collective. ‘Mohammad Ali Baryalei came to Australia as a child refugee, but his refugee status has absolutely nothing to do with the allegations against him. He grew up in Australia, and later appeared as an actor on Australian TV series Underbelly. The Australian could equally pointlessly have titled its article “from Australian actor to battlefield plot ringmaster” but chose to smear refugees’ said Breen. (www.rac-vic.org 20/9/14) We cannot be cowed by the antics of deluded extremists, sales seeking media or repressive “anti-terror” legislation from speaking out on injustice. We have responsibilities in a democracy to uphold what is fair and right.

Message from Archbishop Desmond Tutu to Palestine’s supporters in Australia Dear Friends of Palestine in Australia The people of the world have been shocked and horrified at the recent brutal and disproportionate assault on the people of Gaza. Over 2000 people have died, hundreds of them children. The infrastructure of Gaza, already greatly damaged in previous similar attacks, is now completely degraded, with basics such as water and electricity denied to the vast majority of the population. Thousands are without shelter and medicines and 80% of the population are dependent on UN assistance. The world waits while representatives of Israel and the Palestinians negotiate a ceasefire and we hope that there will be peace. But peace will not come until the illegal occupation of the Palestinians ends. It will not come to Gaza until Israel and Egypt lift the 8 year siege that has crippled the Gazan economy and squeezed the population,

AFIC HISTORY In 1963 the Australian Muslim community adopted an organisational structure for the cause of Islam in Australia. At the grass roots level local Muslims formed Islamic Societies to serve their basic needs in terms of education and prayer facilities. The building of Mosques and providing religious education became the primary objective. The Islamic Councils of each State and Territory united to form State Islamic Councils representing their respective Muslim communities at the peak State level. At the national level the State and Territory Islamic Councils formed the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils Inc (AFIC), as the national umbrella organisation for Australian Muslims representing Islam and Muslims at a national and international level. AFIC has its head office in Sydney with branch offices in Melbourne. As a democratic organisation, AFIC holds Federal Council Meetings with all State and Territory affiliates quarterly and an Annual Congress with all State , Territory Councils and Societies participating. The AFIC Committee of Management is elected every three years by the Annual Congress.

Our Mission The mission of AFIC is to provide service to the community in a manner that is in accordance with the teachings of Islam and within the framework of Australian law. To advocate on behalf of the Muslim community on all such matters that will affect the community’s relevance, settlement and integration within Australian society. The main role of AFIC is to represent Islam and Muslims of Australia as one “Ummah” to the government and other bodies nationally and internationally. AFIC coordinates and provides resources for activities of its State Islamic Councils and member Islamic societies.

On September 17, the Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL, Chairman Man Hee Lee) held the 2014 World Alliance of Religions’ Peace Summit at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. During the opening ceremony, the entrance of distinguished guests was followed by the spectacular Card Section performance, which conveyed the vanity of war. As the host of the event, Mr. Man Hee Lee delivered the opening address in which he said, “If the heads of state love their country and people, they should sign an international agreement that would put an end to all wars and bring about peace.” After that, Ms. Nam Hee Kim, the chairwoman of the International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG), delivered the commemorative address and spoke about how she changed after meeting the true advocate of peace and about the power of women that can achieve world peace. Prior to the opening address, a

video was shown of Mr. Lee’s peace movement and his World Peace Tours, during which he travelled to 54 countries and delivered the message of peace. In January in Mindanao of the Philippines—one of the most war-torn regions in Asia—Mr. Lee played a key role in resolving the 40-year conflict between Catholics and Muslims through a peace agreement. Also, in Zamboanga City of Mindanao, Mr. Lee presented the practical solution to peace at the Peace Walk in which over 12,000 people participated. Messages congratulating the

Fundamentals Of Parenting. Part (1) By Hadeel Almadhoun Melbourne In bringing up our children, our main goal as parents must be to raise righteousMuslims. We all realise that parenting in general is not an easy task and raising righteous children requires multiplied efforts. But in order to be able to raise righteous children, parents need to be righteous themselves. They need to make sure that their ultimate goal is to raise children whom Allah will be pleased with. The most important role of Muslim parents is to make sure that they perfect their children’s Aqeedah from the very early years of age. They need to make sure to live by the principles and fundamentals of Aqeeda and instil those in all aspects of the child’s life. As a matter of fact; being a good example for your children is one of their rights on you. So if parents are genuinely concerned about their child’s religion and character they need to make sure that they present good example for them both in religion practice as well as in terms of character traits.

Character is something which needs to be taught by example and not only by words. This was the practice of our beloved prophet –pbuh- in teaching his companions. So we need to try harder to show good manners and good character. Secondly; I must stress on the right of children to be treated with love and respect. These are two crucial values which can either make or break a child, especially at the adolescent age. Love and respect are the milestones which every family needs to be built on, and it will naturally be fed through to the children. An adolescent may stumble, rebel or show some kind of disobedience. They may also do some totally unexpected things or surprise you with weird behaviours. They may commit an ethical or religious offense or sin which would shake you completely as parents. However; you must not forget that this is part and parcel of the life learning cycle and that they are going through certain physiological and psychological changes which they cannot understand and cope with sometimes. You must not forget that you are the parent and they’re the children, so they are still liable for your

love and respect. You need to deal with the situation in a calm manner and make sure to maintain the love and respect while dealing with the situation. Your aim needs to be reformation rather than punishment. Try to understand them, get closer to them, provide them with space and privacy and never take their respect away from them. Show them that what you’re doing this out of love and care and not just out of authority. They may push you back but you only need to remember; you’re the parent. You must have patience and wisdom in your approach. You also need to be in control of your emotions while dealing with them. You need to understand that they do face challenges in the outside world trying to hold onto their Muslim identity and believes as well as fit within the society. It is very dangerous to subject them to two contradictory lines of upbringing as this will result in deep inner struggle which will only put them off and make them nonconforming. Providing children with balanced discipline and nurturing is essential for bringing up righteousMuslim children. To be continued next edition

Allah loveth not one who is treacherous and sinful.”(surah al-nisa ayah 107) Islam teaches us that we are to make 70 excuses for our fellow believer in Islam. It may be asked what is the principle behind this? One such answer might be that it is in order for us to live in a world of peace and forgiveness, in order to prevent black hearts and hatred towards our fellow believers, we should consciously and subconsciously drill within the flesh of our skin the “70 excuse” reflex to create a harmonious society. however, the excuses should come from the other members of the community and not from ourselves. constantly making excuses for oneself will start to cause an illness within ourselves that will cause harm to ourselves and others of detrimental nature. Because we will find that we have an umbrella of excuses for bad morals, unjustifiable actions and inexcusable deceit. That is not what Islam teaches us. The heart is a muscle, and science tells us that muscles have their own memory. so if the heart is constantly being used to exercise evil, then that’s what will be stored in its memory and vice versa. If it is good and uncorrupted by self and surroundings, it will remain a steadfast compass for direction and moral standing. a corrupted heart will inevitably lead us to portray this caged evil to manifest within our actions. the heart although hidden deep within the enclosure of our body, cannot hide its intentions and will manifest in action and speech eventually. this is something we cannot escape and allah promises that every liar will be exposed and the truth will reveal itself. so who are we really fooling? making excuses leads to a corrupt heart, because we will end up justifying all our actions until everything is permissible and nothing is unjustifiable. the heart will

become corrupt and if not rectified, will only increase in corruption. we should seek perfection in religion and not seek to justify our evil actions and wrong doings. for those who have chosen to persue their evil ways, allah will only seek to make it easier on them to do so until they bury themselves in sin. For those, allah promises a painful torment. Allah swt says in Surah Al Baqara ayah 10: In their hearts is disease, so Allah sought to increase that illness due to their own inclination. and for them is a painful torment for their lies.” If we feel we are inclined to acts and feelings that Allah describes as undesirable traits of a muslim, we need to seek to cure ourselves of this illness and rectify it. We should seek counsel in Allah and seek refuge from satan who aids to increase the emptiness of the heart. Remember, the words we utter on our tongues are not merely chains of thought, but rather a myriad of ideas built up in one cluster to form belief and values of a person. Surah al Hujurat Ayah 1 “and fear Allah, Allah is all hearer all knower”. Whatever pretty masks we wear

and the costumes we parade with flamboyant colours of laughter and exaggerated feathers of perfect lives and moral dignity we like to display, will all amount to nothing if Allah is not pleased with us. Such masks, only serves to increase an already void heart and miserable existence. Yes, their are those who have perfected the art of illusion by manipulation, but what does it really amount to when Allah the creator of the heavens and the earth, the hearer of the hearts whispers, the giver of life and death is displeased with you? Parade your peacock feathers, for the day of account will leave no stone unturned, no injustice unrectified. In surah Al Baqara ayah 9 Allah SWT says: “They [think to] deceive Allah and those who believe, but they deceive not except themselves and perceive [it] not.” They can keep fooling the creation, but they will never be able to fool the creator. Do not seek to justify your wrong-doings, because it will only serve to harm your soul and corrupt your heart. Nobody will bear your burden or carry your sins on the day of Judgement, everyone will stand alone with his excuses and face Allah.

The Man With The Key By Jamilah Samian I sat on a chair at the entrance of a printing shop, waiting for the mock-up of my next book. The lady at the counter told me it would take an hour, but now it seemedlike ages ago. The outlet was one of many in the huge, white-washed building. In front of me, men and women strode past. Almost everyone I caught sight of appeared to be in a hurry for some reason. Out of the blue, I felt the urge to answer the call of nature. I stood up and began to hunt for the toilet. One flight up the stairs and there it was, a sign that confirmedI had found what I was looking for. But the door was locked. I tried to prise it open. No luck. “May I help you, Ma’am?” I turned to my right and I saw a young man, beaming. Dressed in a crisp shirt and pants, he looked too important to be paying attention to someone else. “I’m looking for the washroom,” I said. “This one is unusable,” he said kindly,”but I have the key to the one upstairs. It’s right next to the elevator.” He handed me a key.I must have looked perplexed, for the next thing he said was,”Everyone who runs an office here gets to keep a key.” As I rode the elevator I wondered, How could he trust me, a total stranger? What if I don’t return the key to him? Half an hour later, I found my way to the prayer room in the building complex. Dhuhr would be in a few minutes. A lady walked in and spread a worn but elegant prayer rug in front of me. Another kind gesture I didn’t expect. I smiled, she smiled back. Just then, a male voice recited the iqama, the second call to prayer, the signal that prayer was about to begin. The voice sounded familiar... Of course! It’s the young man who lent me the key. My heart brimmed with gratitude. Thank you, Allah, for connecting me with just the right person who was in the perfect position and capacity to help me. I am convinced kindness should be the currency we live by today, the hope of the future. The Prophet Muhammad S.A.W (Peace be upon Him) said:”The best of you is he who is best to his family, and I am the best among you to my family.” - Tirmidhi, narrated by Aisha and Abdullah ibn Abbas. What a profound yet simple message! It is easy for us to be kind, to show our best perfect selves, to people we meet on the street, to friends and acquaintances who might not know our true nature. But being consistently kind to members of our household might be harder than we think. Oh, the daily annoyances that come with family! Yet, our ability to be kind to the people closest to us is the acid test of who we are. Quite likely, someone must have taught that young man I met how to be kind. What kind things can you do today that can make a difference to someone near and dear? If you live with your parents,and they drive you up the wall with their demands and expectations, and you are desperately looking for something to cure them, try the kindness potion. Here are three ideas for you: 1) serve them a hearty breakfast you made 2) get them a glass of water when they get home from work 3) buy them a little gift from the money you saved, from the allowance they gave you. It just might turn your parents around. You’ll see. If you are married and your relationship isn’t working the way you want, these three kind acts might up your love bank account: 1) Say”Your father / mother is my hero” in front of your children when you know your spouse is listening 2) Tell your spouse one good thing his / her parents did 3) Forgive your spouse every night before you fall asleep. Let us extend this idea to the people in our neighbourhood. You and I don’t live in a vacuum. After the family unit, neighbours are the building blocks of community. If you have a neighbour who has just moved in nearby, perhaps you could go the extra mile to make them feel welcome. You could: 1) invite them over for tea 2) send them a baked dish or seasonal fruits 3) let them know the bits and bytes of your community. Every single act of kindness you do will make their hearts a little warmer to you. You never know when it might be returned, if not directly to you, then perhaps to your children or grandchildren or great-grandchildren. As Albert Schweitzer says,”Constant kindness can accomplish a lot. As the sun makes ice melt, kindness causes misunderstanding, mistrust, and hostility to evaporate.” Kindness is the key that might just unlock the goodness and the best within those around you. Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Visits Meadow Heights Mosque After G20 Meeting The Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey, Prof Numan Kurtulmus, visited the Meadow Heights mosque after attending the G20 Labour and Employment Ministerial Meeting which was held last week in Melbourne. Prof Kurtulmus had visited Australia in 2009 when he was invited to attend a function organised by the Austalian Islamic Social Association, known namely as Milli Gorus. The occasion gave Prof Kurtulmus an opportunity to catch up with friends in Melbourne. He also gave a talk about recent developments in Turkey and the Middle East.

This has been a particularly challenging time for the Muslim community here in Victoria. Recent terror raids in NSW have once again placed our community in the spotlight around the country. While not in Victoria, undoubtedly they have affected many of our community. As always, all Australians are entitled to the presumption of innocence until proven guilty. There is still much to play out here so we reserve our judgement until then. This is also a time for cool heads to prevail. There were some reports of police using excessive force during the execution of some of these raids. Clearly if this were the case it would be upsetting and unacceptable, but again, the truth will eventually come out and we need to be measured in our response in the meantime. The ICV has an emergency assistance program for families of those affected should similar events happen here in Victoria. In addition to the above, undoubtedly there will be a rise in islamaphobia and hate related crime against Muslims. There are extremist elements within Australian society and we need to be prepared. Please ensure any incidents are immediately reported to police and then to the ICV so we can track these and ensure policy makers are doing all they can to protect all Australians. Lastly, the ICV has also received many positive emails and messages of support from ordinary Australians, who see things as they are and are very supportive. While its not possible to reproduce them all, one such email read as follows: “I welcome the diversity and the richness that Islam has introduced into the broad Australian nation….Hold your heads up high, maintain your faith in your own individual religious beliefs and above all understand and accept that there are many ordinary Aussies like me who embrace you and your families within the rich and broad Australian multi - cultural community.”
