ROSE FLOAT ROSE FLOAT D

art in this year's Rose Float decorating. Members ot a chance to work hands-on with the NASCAR oat assembling flowers, decorating the trophy, nd working on the float itself. Throughout the day ncoln Key Clubbers got a chance to interact with he staff to learn about the process in which the oat is created. Overall, Lincoln Key Club had a ast helping out with the Rose Float decorating nd can’t wait to return next year.

On Wednesday, December 14, 2022, South Gate High School Key Club cele last meeting of the fall school semester by creating Christmas cards for th Ninos Latinos Unidos. For the duration of our lunch meeting, our key clubb Christmas cards for our friends at Ninos Latinos Unidos. As a club, we create 45+ Christmas Cards for foster children this December. In closing, we all loo beginning a new school semester this year and continuing to make a diffe community.

On November 17, 2022, GALA Key Clubbers participated in a school-wid service event! This service project honored those that have served in the holiday cards and was replete with festive cheer. We started off with our usu - both old and new -- and had some icebreakers to cue everyone in. The able to dive right into card-making, and it’s safe to say that our cr overflowing. Overall, we were incredibly honored to be able to spread so spirit to others.

For the month of February, Lincoln Key Club held a park clean up at our very own Lincoln Park. Members also attended Region 8 formal to celebrate our LtG elect, Katherine Dinh, as she's our 3rd LtG from Lincoln!

We are officially starting our new cabinet elections as well, encouraging our underclassmen to sign up for positions to live on our legacies.

DOWNTOWN

Downtown Magnets Key Club collaborated with Larchmont Key Club for a fun service event. Club members created arts and crafts projects that will be donated. Also, members bonded through a soul mates ice breaker and a water balloon fight activity.

District Convention (DCON) is an annual event held to celebrate the achievements of the term, elect the new District Executive Board, attend educational workshops, meet new Key Clubbers across California, Nevada, and Hawaii, and welcome the new term!
